Amazing job Wesley! Keep up the good work! In-flight crew NEED to be compensated fairly. They are hard working professionals who keep the flying public safe (Safety briefings and checks, boarding, assistance to passengers, deplaning, etc..the list goes on)
I'm a retired Union rvp with CUPE. I have my protest tags on my carry-on pack. Many fellow passengers ask what they mean. Great way to open a conversation about the issue. Many thanks for sending them to me.
I’m renewing my RAIC soon, I have to complete 3 online modules (Almost 2 hours), fill out forms, attach documents etc… Everything in my own time. This is not a choice it’s requirement by transport Canada. My time at home is valuable! Renewing a RAIC gives us the right to access restricted areas as an employee representing a company, acting within the duty of a contracted employment. Time spent should be acknowledged as duty to the employer. All unpaid time matters. Those courses are newly introduced as a point of accountability from Transport, but not acknowledged as a part of training by the employer. We could work on that. #unpaidworkwontfly

Thanks for this and keeping us updated. I hope that the language of the next collective agreement will be less gray and rock solid.
Agreed!
