I am very surprised this video passed whatever safety regulation standards that it must have.
It is too abstract to be informative.
If a passenger didn't already know the emergency instructions, this video would be useless.

Last month i travelled across different canadian cities with this airline (almost from coast to coast) and I really enjoyed this video on every flight I caught.
All the expectations that i had on my trip to canada were 100% overpassed, and that includes their flagship airline.
I have no doubt that in the future i will come back to keep discovering the country, so keep on that way AirCanada. You´ll get a new frecuent flyer over here hahah

Does this remind anyone else of the idea of a cargo cult? Like a whole bunch of people doing airplane things, but totally decontextualized from the plane. As if they are engaging in strange rituals without understanding the cause/effect relation between the behavior and the result. Just my two cents!

It was an Air Canada flight disaster that resulted in modern airliners having escape path lighting systems. Air Canada flight 797 filled with smoke during the flight and had to make an emergency landing. 90 seconds after the plane landed, flames shot through the cabin, killing everyone who was still in the plane. Those people couldn’t find exits because the smoke was too heavy and it was nighttime so it was too dark
