Good job on fencing will you build up the stonewall in time. The biggest problem is stakes dont last many years. Good luck with the sheep hope they go well for ye. Horrible when people steal them.
As you said there's a lot of it happening.It's a pity that there aren't ANPR cameras located on the roads it wouldn't take too many if they were put both ends of valley roads and at other strategic places.At least then a check on car numbers could be made when this happens.I 'm not holding my breath though.
A suggestion to make picking up spilt staples. Take a block of wood say 2"x2" cover one side with 4 magnetic door catches cover them with a piece of metal add a short piece of broom handle to the otherside.You now have a tool to pick up anything metal without having to search through the grass or whatever for them.

Unfortunately where they were held at has got about 100 different little lanes surrounding there land. We do have a big magnet somewhere but your idea sounds bit easier cheers 😄

Bloody annoys me when people steal stock we had an issue with idiots taking our fattening lambs they would come at night kill them on the land leave there inners plastered all over so we knew what they was doing we found someone taking pictures of our stores so we camped up in the gator over night and luckily caught them not saying what happened but they will think twice next time to try it if you can’t get sorted let me know what breed your after I will see what I can do for you
It’s ridiculous isn’t it glad you caught them in the act, don’t think many do which is a shame...
It took us sometime to catch them we was just lucky we had 4 game keepers that was willing to make a cover in the tree line to hide the gator as the rustlers where sneaky fu**ers and they would walk around the headlands with there dog making out there dog walkers at 2am in the morning we had to lose a lamb to catch them it’s always happens near ramadan
