I took my brothers 'rough terrain' manitou forklift down to our woods in early spring thinking it would be fine. We have to negotiate a steep bank that has a track across it. It started slipping sideways off the track and downhill. The more I tried to steer towards the track, the more the back end and counter weight pointed down hill. I gave up fighting and pointed the machine straight down the hill and probably hit 30mph with all four wheels driving the other way. I then spent 3 days with a winch, shovel and tractor getting it home.... So I understand your pain.

Those skinny tyres, loader and back weight are not your friend.... Im glad it happens to other people. Lol

Hi I see the gear box is different from the m100gx I use ,is driving this tractor the same as driving a manual car ,having to press the clutch and change through the gears ,if this is so how do you get on with driving on the road with it .

Your lucky that peat bog didn’t suck your tractor down , I’ve seen excavators disappear in that kind of ground , hopefully this is a valuable lesson to know your ground before driving or carrying work on it , Good Recovery 👍👍

Really enjoyed this 🐑 You should clean one of those wheels up and put it up in the barn. Could wrap loads of LEDs around the forks, maybe even if you used a battery pack rather than mains you could spin it round 😂

Great to see your videos back.Another Spout House,we have one by the side of the Ratty.That would make a great Bar for your campsite and possibly letting rooms,a thought for the future.I reckon that those wheels and frame are from an horse drawn seed drill.V shaped ends=seed hopper.Strange ratchet like piece of metal there to rattle the seed down the tubes.It's a thought there are probably many more.L'm looking forward to further posts.💯👍

Great drone footage. enjoyable video as always. No weather for hay here in the west of ireland yet.

Great video! We used to do 5000 small bales of hay and same of straw to sell to horsey people, but only time man-handled was when getting out of barn when we sold them. We had a "flat-10" so 2 bales running at 90 degrees to the flat 8, so when stacked on trailers you could bind them in with the loader. 9 layers high with 30 or 35 bales to a layer.

I enjoyed this one would of been nice if it was abit longer I had to look twice I thought your tractor had gone pinkish in the sun but it’s the case that’s gone pink

A nice set up with those mowers.You wouldn't want anything bigger in most Lakeland fields you'd never turn round. I was never a great fan of small bales to much manhandling.🙃

Great review George. Strikes me as a great stockman's tractor. Wouldn't recommend filling wheels with water; if you get a punture its a real pain. Look after it, and the way secondhand machinery prices are going, it will be worth not far short of what you paid for in a few years time, especially as you're not doing many hours. Just remind where that brake lever is ;-)

Well I didn't know tractors were that expensive!! Andy says he really enjoyed the review - he's glad you're not an 'expert' coz he knows lots of experts and they drive him mad....! What does your better half think of the passenger seat?

Thanks for the very thorough and frank review of your Kubota.....I may end up buying one.!! I would suggest putting a piece of tape or something similar on side of the slot at the range selector lever at the mid point sp you know it is in the right place for the mid range every time the fully forward and back positions will look after themselves. Good luck with the tractor.!!

Nice bit of kit.I reckon I could actually drive that without having to take a degree in computing,keep it simple.🙃 Why don't you try the old oil drum filled with concrete and a bar through it as a weight mounted on the 3 point linkage? Worked perfectly well years ago.
