Coming from Germany and having used this subway system for a holiday week I wonder why these trains must be so HORRIBLY loud!!
And why the nose is so flat, wouldn't it be more energy efficient do build it more aerodynamic like an Acela?

I have not been to all 472 stations although pretty sure I have ridden 95% of the whole system
