Smoked PORK TENDERLOIN on the Pellet Grill - BUT Cooked LIKE RIBS! New to Me Method that’s SO GOOD!

- This was my first time making smoked pork tenderloin on the grill, and smoking it all the way through versus smoking then searing. And I’m only making my pork tenderloin on the pellet grill this way from now on! We did two different kinds of smoked pork tenderloin - one regular barbecue style basted with bbq sauce, and one like ribs with brown sugar, butter, and honey like the idea of a rack of ribs.
Both of these pellet grilled pork tenderloins were amazing, and the whole family loved them! Hope you enjoy!

This foil method is our new favorite way to do it! Even my mother in law who doesnt like smoked food loved it! Thank you!
Hey that awesome
Love pork tenderloin, such a versatile cut. It's also our go to for stir fry. Ya done good boy! You only made one mistake....................water to dilute the bbq sauce? No brother, bourbon.......only bourbon!!😉
hahahhaha True....very true...Hey try the foil method with butter honey and brown sugar and let me know ...telling ya...dang good.
Boss, you nailed it again! 👏
Tenderloins are so easy, and great tasting on the smoker. And as you said " so versatile "
Absolutely
Awesome, informative, and delicious!! You rocked this one, Dude!
TY
We do pork tenderloin often but never did it on the smoker. Gonna try this. We love tenderloin sandwiches (midwestern IL staple). My wife has developed her own coating for the sandwiches. Never did it on the flat top either as they cook quick. Gonna try that also. Your ideas and recipes are excellent. Love your videos.
I literally just pulled two tenderloins off the Traeger pellet smoker. Sliced it thin, placed it on toasted buns and added Sonny's sweet BBQ. Fkn delicious
Absolutely...i haven’t tried the Sonnys bbq sauce...the Waltwins like it...
Dinner? Smoked pork tenderloin leftovers
I used to roast whole pork tenderloins on the Weber Kettle. One of my wife's and my absolute favorites!
same...
Great looking tenderloin’s!! Awesome job. Btw: awesome live stream with Tommy Sunday Night. It was a very good show!!!!!
Hey thanks for joining...and thanks for commenting,...appreciate ya
Great method! Both look delicious👍😊
I’ve never thought of smoking pork tenderloins … always grilled and seared them . Good thing I have 4 of them in the freezer :) Great vid !
Honestly me too...first time and you saw the results...I agree..I always grill or foward sear....
I can't wait to get my Lonestar Grill....
I know the feeling..hhahaha congratulations
Neal, have you ever made Canadian bacon with tender loin? Game changer! Put in brine 7 to 10 day's and then smoke to 145 internal..... you won't be disappointed!
I have not..sounds like something to put on the list
Looks really good also I bought one of those spatulas like you use. I really like it. Thanks for your videos and information. I enjoy them very much.
Hey thank you...cheers
They look awesome
Those both are beauties! We love to do loin & tenderloin.
Looks great, we do the flavored tenderloins all the time. Hope you have some more smokes & more thoughts on the Titan in the future.
Great cook! I don't know it altitude makes a difference. I've been pulling all my pork @ 130-135 degrees for the last 30yrs. I'm @ 78ft above sea level here in Napa California. Perfect every time!
That I do not know...typically 145 is considered safe...i pulled at 142...BUT I didnt have the grill hot to build energy...if I was grilling over charcoal..i would have pulled early....interesting idea of altitude...
I am as bigger fan of cured pork (bacon, ham, sausage) but that looks really good. Hard to go wrong with a tenderloin unless you put BBQ sauce on it but the other looked awesome! 👍
Low and slow pork tenderloin on the Traeger is one of my wife’s favorites. Suggest you always cook them with a probe as Neal did ……….super easy to overcook them.
Dang that looks delicious! Never smoked one either….but I will! Definitely money! Cheers brother!
so dang good...try the rib method...
that’s exactly what I planned. Cheers Neal!
Excellent job Neil and Amy, thanks for the great recipes and the proof and approval from the both of you . Fred.
Our pleasure!
Pork TL’s have always been my got-to for a juicy/tasty/quick cook that everyone always likes. Those look delicious. 👍🏼🇨🇦
Absolutely
Great job. Pork tenderloin is my favorite thing to cook on the smoker. Never thought of wrapping them in tinfoil like ribs. Will definitely cook this way the next time. Appreciate all y’all do. Keep up the good work.
My wife got one of these on accident a few weeks ago when I sent her with my weekly list and I froze it and haven’t figured out the best way to cook it up. Now I’m thinking smoked pork tenderloin sandwiches, salads, something with potatoes… I still need to think that through. Thank you Neil!
Hey these things are so forgiving and can carry so many different flavors...grill all the way....smoke then grill...grill then smoke...you name it...
I love how you can't wait for the taste test, I 100% do the same thing.
I do a lot of them tenderloins. grandkids love them.. LSG great smoker. to bad tommy doesn't use his more lol
hahah have you tried wrapping in foil...the rib way with brown sugar butter and honey...what a flavor for sure
@PelletsandPits yes many times. In the 70s, I salt crusted a few. Get some kosher salt mix with some egg whites. Wrap it in salt. Place in smoker. When done crack open the salt so good.
Good to see the Lone Star in action!
Thanks Neal - T-Loins are now on my Costco shopping list! - - I'll smoke through just like you did. - Cheers!
Oh you guys .... I've not had good luck with pork tenderloin and basically gave up. I'm going to give this a try - thanx
Amazing job Neal, fantastic looking tenderloins! Love the Lone Star grill always 🔥🔥🔥! Cheers brother 🍻
Cheers bud...
Another home run. Now I’m craving pork tenderloin 😊
hahahaha
This is my go-to for pork tenderloin except I wrap mine in bacon... Great for pork fried rice...
Same protein two completely different flavor profiles. I’ve smoked plenty but never wrapped one … Guess what I’m doing with the next one? 😎 Going to use a rib glaze in the wrap rather than honey … Keep cooking kids! Thanks for the constant inspiration! 🍻
Good stuff! Thanks bud
Loan Star Grillz envy. 😂
I swear to you Neal - I cooked a Pork tenderloin on my pellet grill Today for Lunch for us !
