- I everybody this vedio is about how to fix hoverboad not charging problem for all model this idea 100% works but you have to use only hoverboard charger because this charger has auto cut off whenever battery full

I did it man! At first the charger light turned off as soon as I connected it to the hoverboard, but I knew the battery was completely empty because I tested with a multimeter, so I left it connected. After a few minutes, the light turned on, but blinking and color green, I left it connected for around 15 minutes then disconnected and connected again, and boom! Now the red light turned on, just like in your video, now I'm waiting for the hoverboard to be fully charged. I'll update this comment as soon as it's fully charged and tested. You can message me I took my hoverboard apart I've already taken everything apart on negative C I've taken that off and resoldered the negative to negative B. It says it's a Samsung battery I charged it for about 3 minutes and both wheels are spinning so now I will let it charge for 30 minutes and see if it is operational Complete. Shawn
can the battery explode or catch fire or something after this repair?

it is not working could it be a charger issue battery was not charged at all i did the method and left it for charging after 1 hour charger show green light so i un plug it when i ride it it started beeping red battery sign any help???i am so sad

This is stupid dangerous! The charger doesn’t do the same work as the BMS connected to the batteries. The BMS is there for a very important reason, and that’s to make sure every single battery charges properly and make sure non over charge and cause a fire.

Well not every single battery but each series which has however many in parallel but your on the right track
Unfortunately this is NOT safe but highly dangerous.
The battery management system you have bypassed ensures that there is never more than 4.2 volts across any individual set of two batteries. No 2 wired charge can ever do this as it can not sample each set of two batteries. You may have a charger that switches off after 42 volts ( I have never seen one, the chargers I have seen, the red light just means the BMS is taking current, Green light just means the BMS is not taking current) but if there is a short in a few sets of cells or they do not all charge at the same rate you can easily exceed this 4.2 volts. Yes it may work but this is still highly dangerous.
I think you need to invest in a good charger if your doesn’t shut off automatically
@@sarcastrophe6992 his point was that: even if the good charger shuts off automatically, you can overcharge a single cell. That WILL happen when one battery cell goes bad and then another cell gets overcharged to compensate. Each cell should have 4.2 volts. 10 cells added in series makes 42 volts. If one cell is bad and has 0 volts, then the other cells will have to have more voltage to still total the 42 volts for the charger to cut off. And they will be overcharged. Have you heard of lithium batteries exploding or catching fire? That is a definite possibility if one cell goes bad causing another to overcharge!!! Maybe the reason the circuit board stopped charging is because one cell is bad, and now you are overcharging all the rest of the cells the moment you installed this jury rig fix. It may not blow up until a second or third cell goes bad.
But John Henry is so absolutely right!!! It is very dangerous to bypass the safety circuit. He has spoken like a true electrical engineer.

If you are charger is working you can remove battery protection board may be battery protection board not working so in this case direct connect charger with battery but you have to be auto cut off charger .

Not really if you have 1 bad cell it will heat up when charging become over critical burst into flames an shoot across your floor like a rocket, I've had that happen to myself and I ended up losing all the batteries because they all burnt
