Yep, definitely a strong point of this game is that you can get through a mission pretty quickly in some spare time or go for a longer session stringing some missions together. Thanks!
Great job again. It's nice to see the game in progress, see if I'm doing it all correctly. I also wanted to point out that the E.A.M.E. medal does not confer a prestige point, I wish it did. 8.1.1
Thanks - I already knew that, but to be honest I don't remember how I did the prestige points. I've made several mistakes along the way through these videos. The good news is that the feedback I've been getting helps me, and hopefully others, play it correctly. The only real ding I'd give this game is that the rule book could have been clearer in some places.
Another great episode. I watch in great anticipation as I wait for my copy! Don't worry about the errors, they are small! I usually do them as well for the first missions when I record a new game.
This is great to watch while I wait. A couple of points, Fernando is correct, if there is 1 INF left on the battle board he bugs out (7.2 case 6) and when you rotated the tanks hull you should check for immobilization. (7.2 Case F). Watching on with interest.
@@HexedAndCountered Yeah no probs, fortunately Gregory Smith's games are not a nightmare to learn but it's always really difficult to remember everything particularly when the game is essentially fresh from the printers. You are doing a great job.... love watching.
@@dhmosquitoiv The funny part is that I shot the 2nd part of the series before I saw the comments on part 1, so the failure to check for immobilization after angling the hull was a repeat performance. The infantry not being allowed to bug out was a new one. Thanks again.
Yes, it is somewhat similar. Not sure if you've seen it, but the second game I did for "Tanktoberfest" is a PC port (greatly expanded) of "Patton's Best" called "Armoured Commander II" - the first version of which is both free on Steam and a near-direct port of PB. Good game, with an old school look.
Thank you for the Campaign. Sorry but only one thing. Byy the rules, if only one infantry unit remains in the battlefield is removed at the end of the turn. I Think?
You rolled on the wrong chart for main gun you use B1 not B2 even with HE. B2 is just for machine guns from your tank or from machine guns from germans, artillery or mortar, or infantry firing on ur tank.
What a great game to either spend an afternoon or a half hour of spare time to go through a mission. Thanks for going through this.

Oh, the lucky rabbit's foot is sooo helpful! Very nice! And a successful mission as well. Very nicely done.
Thanks Zilla! After the big fail in mission 1 it felt great to notch a victory.

Thanks, I am taking notes on all the stuff I am missing!

@@HexedAndCountered well, the rule is only mentioned once on page 14. (7.2.6). Easy to miss. (the inf one)
After each round, do you go to your mission sheet and write it down? I have it you write on the mission sheet when the board is empty
You can do it either way - as you eliminate enemy units you can update it, or you can just do it all at once at the end of the mission.
Playing today was using the wrong chart against infantry
This is similar to an old Avalon Hill game called "Patton's Best".

Similair, but vastly different!
