Idk who needs to hear this but I'm watching this like over a year into quarantine and i feel lonely as hell and if anyone else feels similar just know its ok. It sucks right now but itll get better!!!
Tip: A good starting storage area is to build four wooden walls at each corner and build a roof over it, this should prevent deterioration of resources stored there, though not spoilage. It also flexible for expansion purposes.

I’m fairly sure every time sips plays rimworld it ends in a semi-preventable issue that he blames entirely on the pawns.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
All these game makers don't realize how much they owe Sips. Watching anything he plays makes me sure I could do so much better (but he is pretty good at COD.)

I know it's just my stupid strat, but I was just internally screaming when sips decided not to live in a cave. Like, even as a temp home that's fucking amazing as raids can only come in one direction. ALSO NO BUILDING WALLS!

TaintedGenre why though? Whats so bad about them? I dont mean to say you arent allowed to dislike them or anything im just genuinely curious.
Nokle I'm probably basing it off of just particularly bad streams where back when Sips was making transition to full time twitch but people were donating just to have really annoying trolling messages read out. Star Dew Valley had a constant stream of people sending in 5 miniute messages of just 1 letter words but since then it just ruins it for me.

I don't like them because I like watching sips get immersed in a game in isolation. I want him to talk to the little npcs and give back-stories and generally have fun in isolation. I don't care to see what chat says is "good" to do. I don't want to hear some stupid knock knock joke from reddit during a cutscene. I don't care what PoopyDiaper6969 thinks Sips should play instead. I don't want to hear about how CorporalDungus was depressed and watched sips to get through it. I don't want to hear sips thank a billion people for their $2 donations.
these are all constant reminders that the world is a place where problems and money and other people exist, and all of these are things i'm trying to escape from for a little while when I turn on youtube.
case in point is 41:19. Sure it's a little funny, but it's not *sips* funny. he would have picked something way better and more interesting on his own if he weren't reading through a typical twich chat.

uno mas... or two: "Cupro's Stones" - it spoiled me and now i can't play without it. and "Setup Carefully" although it WON'T work with custom made scenarios with weird starting conditions (your own or from workshop). works fine with 3 out-of-the-box scenarios i think.

your prior playthrough was a hot mess but rimworld kills everyone equally. i would suggest trying a few randy random playthroughs. i have had a lot of fun with that. except when i get pyromaniacs on the team and then i hate it. and other things. For mods in future, the most versatile mods are "rain washes away filth" cleaning all outdoors nicely, "Psychology", "Pharmacy", "Setup Camp", and one that makes icons in upper bar of colonists color (mood icons, color, called something like that)...
how many playthroughs and he still doesnt know he can draft colonists to fight animals
