Norwegian Dan Eggen, a former Celta player was Satyricon fan he was on the stage alongside Pantera and Satyricon when they was playing in Spain, also Mauro German Camoranesi former Juventus player is a big heavy metal fun and he is playing guitar, and Claudio Caniggia was a glam metal fan. Unfortunately in my country (Serbia) football players listening a shitty music, but we had one long-haired goalkeeper Radisa Ilic who is a big heavy metal fun, and his favorite band is Katatonia, but he wasnt famous player. Cheers from one big heavy metal and football fan!
Oh yes, I had read somewhere about Eggen being on stage with Satyricon. Didn't know about Camoranesi though, even though I generally follow Italian football since I'm a Milan fan. Will check about Radisa Ilic as well. You got me curious!! :D
@@IronHordeMetalTalk I found out suddenly about Camoranesi, I'm Lazio fan. :D And Radisa, that guy realy have knowledge about metal, there was one interview with him when he talks about metal, but its on serbian language.
@@IronHordeMetalTalk th-cam.com/video/LKEtprrzCRw/w-d-xo.html This is the interview, he said that when he was younger he was fan of Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Sepultura like other young metalheads, and later he discovered Whitesnake, Katatonia, and some alternative rock bands, nothing special. :D
I'm not into football AT ALL, but somehow I managed to know some stuff, hahaha! Ramos is not really into metal... he's basically dragged by his wife, haha. Another one in the Spanish scene, although he's Argentinian, was German "Mono" Burgos. I remember he had a band, more rock oriented, and for sometime he promoted his musical career a lot. (While sporting a very 80's Dickinson hairstyle, haha)
I knew about Burgos as well but didn't want to go so back in time actually :D I remember collecting the stickers of the Italia 90 World Cup and it was filled with players who sported the mullet. Sometimes when I go through it, I can't stop smiling at some of the hairstyles!!!
Napalm death and cannibal corpse. Fuck yeah
