When you start the recovery journey you also want to let go of anxiety behaviors. I am still on my recovery journey and i struggle with cardiophobia and feeling like i can’t breath. And behaviors i would do is put my fingers in my neck feeling my puls or when i had a panic attack i would sit and ruminated about how it could have happend etc. In the last 6 months i have only once place my fingers in my neck to feel my pulse. And when i do exposure and i did feel panic when going on a small walk i say to myself no go on with your day do not sit on the couch and ruminate. It may seem small but it is helping. Mapping out anxiety behaviors is important so you can start to tackle thwm
Thank you for this video Robin! I’m going through a chronic dpdr faze and no one understands in my life. I needed this video and I appreciate the advice I’m gonna watch more!
I was doing well for my recovery then some random insomnia caused my dpdr and anxiety to return. Now I have to relearn everything lol. Today I spent all day going on reddit and freaking out.
@@AMH707 No I quit it a long time ago cuz it caused me regular panic attacks , also how have you been coping with this OCD flare up , it literally heightened my intrusive thoughts and its making feel so anxious
I’m finally actually recovering after almost a year of panic and dpdr and existential crisis 🩷 thank you Robin it was your videos that led me to acceptance and everything else

With anxiety you do the opposite of what it tells you because anxiety is a lie

this is the exact same thing I'm going through right now , this random burst of insomnia has reignited my dpdr symptoms along with my ocd
@@khouloudaithsain9215 same here my OCD also came back due to the insomnia. Have you by any chance quit caffeine recently?
