Okay I have loved this series because it taught me that I don’t need a shiny sandwich or mass outbreaks to catch shiny pokémon and as a person who literally cannot defeat any 5 to 6 star raids (i’m trying i swear :,)) and who also has the worst luck in the world, this challenge series only motivates me to shiny hunt and catch some of my favorite shinies being Shiny Umbreon (Masuda method) and Shiny Iron Valiant so thank you Noki 💚
Not sure if you knew but using a fairy encounter sandwich actually makes it so Valiant is the only spawn in the lower levels as well; not just the small cave there. Anyway; great vid and have a good day my dude!

I know this video is two years old lol, but still wanted to throw in my two cents since this is the first of your shiny hunting challenges I've watched. maybe consider not requiring the time limit to be consecutive, meaning you could spread out the 24 hour limit across however many days you wanted. if you're not livestreaming (and sometimes even if you are), I feel like it's hard for viewers to really appreciate the dedication and exhaustion involved in shiny hunting for 24 hours straight. not sure if you did some kind of live element to this at the time of the video so people followed along in real time, but otherwise I feel like a lot went into an aspect of the challenge that doesn't fully translate to viewers watching a condensed 20 minute video. awesome editing and really fun to watch though! I just found your channel and am going through your old videos!
Your method for iron thorns is actually exactly what i did for Sandy Shocks but if they spawned to much in the middle area i jumped down to spice things up a little
Man these videos really were amazing. My fiancee and I played Violet and Scarlet and he watched all three videos with me when normally he doenst watch anything about Pokemon and just plays for fun without a lot of background knowledge on shinies and stuff. Just sitting through the video right now, and figure I want to share a story from when I was at my sister's and BIL's. We were talking about shiny ancient Paradox Pokémon, and I brought up Scream Tail and how it has red eyes instead of yellow. My BIL paused for a moment and said, "wait... the shiny has red eyes?" You could see the life drain from his eyes as he brought his hands to his palms. He had actually seen a *full odds* shiny Scream Tail and didn't realise it.
The Iron Thorns despawning is the exact reason why I look around in a complete circle before I move to despawn the pokemon I am shiny hunting. My two biggest fears are the shiny despawning, and it spawning behind me without me ever knowing.
not to knock shiny hunting, i literally love it - but the level of entertainment that you're able to deliver through shiny hunting in 2023 is incredible lol

One thing I want to mention is that the one cave you were in isn't the only one that spawns Iron Valiant with encounter sandwiches, I had used a fairy in the main huge cave area (where you found Iron treads) and a butt-ton of them were spawning! Maybe I misunderstood, if so id love to be corrected by anyone :)
I was so mad when I watched your luck on the first area locked video. I was about 65hrs in and was the only out of my friends to not find a shiny yet. Now I'm at 250hrs and have 102 shinies as of this morning lol Lots of outbreaks and shiny sandwiches with the charm.
