Jews and Indians (the majority of whom were/remain Hindu) got along for 2000 years because neither group wanted to convert the other, and because the host culture accepted multiple paths to the same Truth (‘Ekam sat vipraha bahuda vadanti’, ie The Truth is one, the paths are many.)
This is the same reason why Parsis (Zoroastrians from Persia/Iran) and Hindus have gotten along for 1000+ years, even as they got erased from their own homeland.

In 2001 outside Kailasa Temple in Ellora, I met an Jew whose grandparents had migrated to Israel from Maharashtra. His name was Avi Solomon, if I remember correctly. We chatted a lot. He spoke perfect Marathi without accent and also got away by buying a local ticket for the temple as the ticket clerk did not suspect him of being a foreigner. He said they still make Maharashtrian food at home and the preferred language to communicate at home is Marathi.

I new a Jew family who used to stay just opposite my Nanaji’s home in Somwar peth, Pune. The elder son of that family we used to call him ‘Bahirappa’ in Marathi as he was deaf I think by one ear and he was such a stout person a body builder. He had his parents, family and he had a brother by the name of Shashi. They were so loveable and down to earth. He had a bodybuilder friend named Samson another Jew who used to run a small library opposite KEM hospital at Rasta peth in Pune. This was in 1970 when I was 15 years old. All these people left for Israel after the 1973 Yom Kippur war from Pune. I still recall and remember their names and faces. I think most of them must be in heaven with God but their children and grandchildren must be happily living in Israel. God bless them all. Long live Israel 🇮🇱 and India 🇮🇳.

The Jews were Never Persecuted by the Majority Hindu Community in India. The Jews, whether Refugees or not, were warmly welcomed by the Hindus, and the Jews adopted Hindu Surnames and were completely Integrated in Indian Society.
The Jews (like the Parsees, who fled Persia due to the Intolerant Muslims who harshly persecuted the Parsees) were able to attain High Positions in Society, Government, Education etc. and did India PROUD. General JFR (Jack) Jacob of the Indian Army was responsible for forcing General AAK Niazi and his Genocidial Pakistan Army to surrender in then East Pakistan on December 16, 1971. Today General Jacob is a Great Hero to Secular Indians. His Grave in New Delhi is visited by Innumerable Indians. Mr. Samson, a Distinguished Jew was appointed to the prestigious post of Commissioner of Police of Bombay ( the financial capital of India) in 1970's. Mr. David and Ms. Sulochana who were Jews, were highly acclaimed film stars.
Today for All Indians who believe in Democracy, Equality, Freedom, and Secularism Love Israel.
Indians Are Extremely Happy that Israel has always Supported India in the United Nations Organization.
Indians are Supportive of Israel as Israel Always Helped India in Its Wars : In 1962 when Communist China invaded India Israel rushed Arms desperately needed by the Indian Army; in 1965 Israel again helped India when Pakistan invaded India, and again in 1971 during the Bangladesh War, and during the Kargil War when Israel rushed Arms, ammunition and even Bombs for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
India and Israel have Deep Cultural, Anti Terrorism , Defence, Intelligence, and Security Cooperation and Relations.

Also not to break any illusions or be soursport you should also research what happened to those jews who went from here, refer to the Abhijit chavda video where he discusses this and sadly would be a shock 😅

The Ancient Hindu's (some 6-10,000 yrs ago) contemplated, what made the difference between Animals & Humans? A central concept was thought thru called "Vasudhaiva_Kutumbakam", en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasudhaiva_Kutumbakam, where the world is described as a Family.
So it is not Caste which was the reason for acceptance of the Jews into Indian Society, it was much deeper philosophical than such a simplistic explaination.
It was Tipu Sultan, a Muslim & The Christian Portugese, similiar Abhramic Faiths which prosecuted the Jews of India, not the Hindu's

Lieutenant General Jack Farj Rafael Jacob PVSM (2 May 1921 - 13 January 2016) was a general officer in the Indian Army. He was best known for the role he played in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. Jacob, then a major general, served as the chief of staff of the Indian Army's Eastern Command. During his 36-year long career in the army, Jacob fought in World War II and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. He later served as the governor of the Indian states of Goa and Punjab.
Jacob was born in Calcutta to a deeply religious Baghdadi Jewish family originally from Iraq which had settled in Calcutta in the mid-19th century. His father, Elias Emanuel, was an affluent businessman. After his father became sick, Jacob was sent at the age of nine to Victoria Boys' School, a boarding school in Kurseong near Darjeeling. From then on, he went home only during school holidays.
Jacob, motivated by reports of the Holocaust of European Jews during World War II, enlisted in the British Indian Army in 1942 as "Jack Frederick Ralph Jacob." His father objected to his enlisting. Jacob said in 2010, "I am proud to be a Jew, but am Indian through and through."

We had a family of Bene israelis as neighbours in suburban Mumbai in the early 90s. Even as a kid, I had the feeling that this is not a marathi family, even though they spoke marathi and had a marathi sounding last name.
They had pictures on the walls of foreign looking bearded people with headscarves and of men touching their head to a high stone wall, with written material in a strange script. In hindsight I think these were pictures from the holy land.
But for their appearance , they were practically marathi. I would have talked to them about their culture had I been older, but i didn't know any better back then.

All those that speak of perseyof jews in india ( which i have never heard of ever) should also take a look into the personal testimonials of indian jews that left for israel after 1947. These people left behind their jobs, properties and everything that they has made just to return to their land of origin, but only to be treated as outsiders. Infact so many of them inread wrote back to pandit nehru to return back to india. So i dint think anyone has a moral high ground to say that jew were persecuted in india. My dear compatriot, let me begin by expressing my unwavering solidarity with all peoples across every nation, who are courageously engaged in the timeless struggle for their right to exist, to be treated equitably, and to live in dignity. In this spirit, I wholeheartedly support both the Palestinian and Israeli peoples' shared right to coexist peacefully.
Now, allow me to address a matter that has been weighing on my mind - the designation of your TH-cam channel, "Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel." I comprehend the fact that you, as an individual, stand as a part of our vast and vibrant black community. Nevertheless, I must convey my concern that the title of your channel may seem to imply a collective consensus or political representation that simply doesn't exist.
In the diverse tapestry of the global black community, which is teeming with a variety of political beliefs and religious views, I don't recollect any instance where we came together as a unified body to appoint your institute as our spokesperson. There are no memoranda of such a congregation nor an election, not only for our black community but also for our Asian, white, Latino counterparts, or any other racial or ethnic group that champions solidarity.
We, as a global black community, are not a monolithic entity. We are, instead, a symphony of individuals, each with our own unique voice and perspective. In our struggle for equality and justice, we each play our own part, in our own way, and it is the harmony of our collective voices that makes our fight powerful.
Therefore, while I respect your right to express your views and encourage dialogue, I urge you to acknowledge that the perspective shared on your channel is that of an individual, not the collective voice of an entire racial or ethnic group. Let us continue to engage in robust discussions and respect the diversity of thoughts, for that is the bedrock of our global community.

For a long time during my childhood, I did not know Jews had different religion because all my Jew friends practiced no different in culture than mine. We spoke Marathi as mother tongue, read same story books and food too was same. My dad's friends included David- a famous film actor. Only when another family friends, Uncle Jacob, and Bostany left for Israel I realized they were Jews. For me, all Jews were in Europe. We also had same last names like Pingle, Ghosalkar etc.

Hindu always embrace all the faith… whether it is Jew, Parsis, Muslim, Christian …
Jew and Parsis have no problems with Hindus but Muslims have started feeling unsafe in India because they want to convert all the KAAFIR …
Otherwise no other minority felt unsafe in India… in fact all those who have been being persecuted all over the world … Parsis are still in existence because they moved to India…
I am proud of being Hindu and proud of all the other faith…

What I find fascinating is that even though in their everyday life the Bene Israel and Cochini Jews were very much a part of the southern Indian society they retained some very culturally Hebrew traditions. I see that alot of Bene Israel and Cochini Israelites/Jews retained actual Hebrew surnames.
I also found out that along with speaking Indian languages and English in the late 1800s and early 1900s the Jews of India at Jewish schools used to learn Hebrew up to college level.
I know specifically that Cochini Jews used to speak Hebrew with visiting Jewish leaders from the middle east.

Marathi community adds 'kar' at the end of their village/place name and use it as their surname. So, Tendulkars comes from village Tendul, Manjarekars come from Manjare and so on. Jews gelled socially with maharashtrian people that they followed the same custom.

Jews were not converted to Christianity in Kerala/Cochin by local Christians i.e., Syrian Christians. Who was forcing them? Christians in Kerala i.e., Syrian Christians were in the minority and had neither the power nor the inclination to convert anyone. The only forced conversions to Christianity took place in Goa and Cochin by the Portuguese. The Portuguese managed to get a concession from the Maharajah of Cochin to exercise political authority over Jews AND Syrian Christians in Cochin. Syrian Christians in Kerala actually believe they are partly descended from Jews that converted voluntarily due to the preaching of St Thomas in the first century AD. The only forced conversions took place under the Portuguese. Many of these conversions took place as a result of the Spanish Inquisition being practiced in Cochin and Goa. Even Syrian Christians (including my ancestors) were forced by the Portuguese into Roman Catholicism at the pain of death. Many like my ancestors reverted to Syrian Christianity when the situation allowed them too.

If Israel falls, then Humanity will also fall.
    Why?
Understanding, development of human thought began in Israel by Israelite.
Which is why in Israel, no one belong there more than you.
The Hebrew Torah is a blue-print for human soul.
Believe me, crying from the Holocaust has left the Solar System a long-time ago.

Indian's believe that Thought came first in the Indian Sub-Continent, when the Ancient Hindu's (some 6-10,000 yrs ago) contemplated, what made the difference between Animals & Humans? Thank god, we are not uni-dimensional in thinking, though we believe in ONE GOD.
All of this is explained in the Ancient Texts of the Hindu's. In a way a central thought is (Vasudhaiva_Kutumbakam) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasudhaiva_Kutumbakam, where the world is described as a Family.
So it is not Caste which was the reason, it was much deeper philosophical than such a simplistic explaination.
It was Tipu Sultan, a Muslim & The Christian Portugese, similiar Abhramic Faiths which prosecuted the Jews of India, not the Hindu's
