thank you for this post. i would say that the fact that countries like iran , syria, pakistan and syria area llowed to take a seat in the general assembly and even hold representative memberships in the various commitees just shows how ridiculous the united nations organization has become and how far divorced it is from its ideals.

Kofi left behind a UN tainted with failure, particularly with the oil for food programme. He also turned a blind eye to his son being involved with corruption. Kofi was lucky to have gotten away so easily.
