The problem is longevity. It’s insane how quickly most of them are fading away. The influencers can promote them as much as they want, but it’s easy to understand that 30-60 minutes of longevity is unacceptable for the price. Fucking disgusting
Problem is people who have been fucking with creed for a while notice the difference in quality and batch variation. When aventus used preform for 12 hours and now is water down as he'll but the prices are going up and up...that's where people get mad. You can talk about creed using raw naturals and freshies but the things those same freshies used to be BEAST MODE and now they are water down. They weren't always weak is the decrease in quality that we bitch about
Yeah. I don’t even think they use naturals in their fragrances. Their quality is worse now. If you compare the quality of Creed with a top luxury niche house such as Amoauge, its like night and day. You can tell Amouage uses high amount of naturals and they’re blended expertly. Whereas Creed I feel like Im smelling a good designer. They used to be better than this. Older aventus batches was more quality than the crap we have today. Everything is watered down. So yeah I think the hate Creed is getting especially from seasoned-nose collectors who have been in the game for decades is justified.
Also the company is so shady bro. Since 1700 from father to son? Really? Thats total BS bro. Also the Creed family didnt even create the perfumes. they claim that their family members are master perfumers. The creed family claimed to have created all the scents. Now they have been exposed. All the scents were created by perfurmers hired by them which they never credited to.
Agreed, 12 years ago Creed was worth every penny, and they were less expensive. Aventus cologne is better than aventus or absolu. The only two I’ve bought a 2nd bottle of are Himalaya and aventus cologne and even those are noticeably ’cheaper’😂. Blackrock fucked up the house, but hopefully Kering brings it back to proper quality
Considering only 1/3 people wear a fragrance at all this is a VERY small percentage of people you will encounter in real life
i’ve had more compliments wearing creed than i have wearing anything. ESPECIALLY SMW or AC. i don’t get crazy longevity (5-6 hours) but people expecting 7+ hours out of very fresh fragrances are fooling themselves
Ive had more compliments wearing DUA fragrances than any other niche brands such as xerjoff, maison crivelli, mfk, and creed. Now does that make DUA fragrances the best, hell no! Maybe Its good at getting compliments. But quality-wise, far from it. If you are in the game for long, you dont care about compliments. That doesnt matter, its all about the quality of ingredients, art, and the blend of the fragrance.

I was immensely disappointed by aventus, CDNIM is basically the same for 1/10 of the price. But I love aventus cologne. Girls prefer it too
Facts. I have the limited edition Parfum, urban man elixir, Sillage which is silver mountain water, and milestone which is mil imperial. They've all been just as good with even better longevity.

I live in Oklahoma and sprayed SMW at 7:30 am and was still getting hints of it on skin after a workout and shower before I went to bed at 11:30 pm. Smelt very strong on the collar of my shirt.

99% of people aren’t frag heads. Every talks about Aventus (or the DNA) as if EVERYONE knows what it is. Let me tell you I have rarely come across people wearing the Aventus DNA. Not at work, gym out and about. Maybe in bars and clubs, but I don’t go there . I’m sticking with it

I live in Sweden and have nine Creed fragrances that i love and wear frequently with moderate to good longevity 😀.
Which ones perform well in colder weather? I once read a comment about a guy who went out with his dad and received zero compliments on his Green Irish Tweed while his dad received many on his designer fragrance because women could actually smell it. I believe fragrances are meant to be smelled by other people, unlike candles which are tor you and your home. I certainly wouldn’t spend a lot of money on one that other people could barely smell on me

Creed has some great fragrances! Original Vetiver, Original Santal, Millesime Impertial & Queen of Silk are some of my favorites. I live in SoCal and these fragrances are 🔥 on me and my husband 👍🏾

Nah. If you have been in the game for decades, you can definitely tell Creed doesn’t use high amount of naturals compared to Real niche houses like Amouage (they use high amounts of quality naturals and still performs amazingly well). You can definitely tell when you spray a Creed on your skin and also when you have smelt a lot of fragrances from real luxury niches and artisanal houses, you can tell that Creed’s quality is lacking. Definitely overpriced for the quality that is on par with decent designers. Creed used to be better. Now they are going downhill. They are not even worth it when discounted. Under $100 maybe, but above $180?hell no. But thats just my opinion. You do you. I aint judging. Just sharing my thought on Creed. Enjoy what you wear.
