I do have multiple copies on DVD from the dolls, but i watched them so much when i was little im pretty sure they would destroy anything within 10 feet that tried to play them now. Anyway, im doing an art piece with this show as a nostalgia thing and just for fun, but this really helps and brings back really good memories, thanks again! :D
I lost my DVD years ago. I left it in a box in the closet and one day I went looking for it and it was gone. It's a huge shame because I adored the menu music! Thank you for uploading this!! ❤️

Pretty sure they didn't switch voices. You might be more familiar with the Nickelodeon version of the show which came out wayyyy after this version did. I could be wrong though about that but I know Darcy and Stormy didn't switch voices.

Did nobody notice that Musa called herself "Princess Musa" even tho she isn't a princess in the series? And then "royalty rocks!" I mean what? Who tf made that promo?
This was (one of the many) unnecessary changes made by 4Kids once the series came to America. If you watched the series all the way through, you'll see they even changed Musa's backstory to accommodate her random Princess status. Instead of having Musa's family be dirt poor (even though they were still shown as poor in the flashbacks?) they wrote that Musa's dad was a Prince from a powerful kingdom whose family disowned him for his love of music, which logically speaking, wouldn't make Musa a Princess anyway, so I'm not sure what the purpose of this edit even was...
@@patternscolorsflowers2789 Maybe they did it to show that even girls who are tomboys can also be princesses even if their behavior is not like a traditional girly girl. They could have made Flora a princess since we only meet Linphea's (Fifth Moon of Marigold in 4Kids version) princess, Krystal, in season 5, but that would have contradicted with what they wanted to teach kids and instead reinforce the idea that all princesses are girly, soft-spoken and feminine.
@@Erika-xm2mi I think the bigger problem with all of that though, is that literally nothing about this series needed to be changed for any reason, and yet so much was altered that often the original RAI and the Americanized versions come off like completely different shows. -- In the original, the only princess in the group (until Aisha's intro and Bloom's self-discovery) was Stella. Which honestly, I like. The girls all came from different backgrounds and family situations, but all managed to work together and achieve great things. I understand what you're saying with the embracing of a diverse concept of femininity, which is important, but I think they already have the basis covered even without the princess element; fairies are seen as a "girly girl" thing, and of course, we have tons of fairies in and out of the main cast with all manner of personalities and abilities. It's just for me that I really don't like all the unnecessary changes and retcons the series underwent when it came to the US. A lot of the rewriting comes off as being lazy since some things are changed and never mentioned again, or come out of nowhere without a logical connection to anything else. (For example, in the episode where Bloom lets the team accompany her to Earth, in the American dub, they refer to non-magic humans as "NMB's" Non Magical Beings, and this came out of nowhere, and after this episode, even in the presence of regular people, it was never mentioned again.) As great as this series was, I think that the fact that it changed hands so many times in the US made it suffer from bad writing. (Or rather rewriting.)

The RAI and Nick versions are the accurate ones, faithful to the original. Winx Club is a show from Italy created by Rainbow. The "RAI English" version of the dub was aired in Canada if I recall well, but most likely in an attempt to extend to the USA, Rainbow accepted that 4Kids change plotlines and dialogue to appeal to an American audience. This dub couldn't be aired in other countries because: 1. Dubs of the Italian version were already airing 2. 4Kids featured many references from American pop culture and slang that would be hard to translate AND create confusion among international viewers 4Kids lost the rights to Winx Club anyway when they kept advertising season 3 as "the final season" and breached their contract by airing their dun BEFORE it originally aired in Italy, thus also spoiling the series.
