The opening monologue is the most important element of late night shows. Many viewers just take in the monologue, hit the power button on the remote and go to sleep. Greg's 7 minute monologue is better than anyone else's and it's not even close. He takes way more risks and has better writers.

Gutfeld is the only show I look forward too, don't even have a tv but listen on Satellite radio and catch the TH-cam clips. Its nice to hear humor and Adults actually talking about real issues.

Hey Greg..I was a moderate dem for over 50 years until I started watching your show about 8 months ago. Now I am a confident conservative and have added a number of Fox shows to my list. Gutfeld is fantastic. I stopped liking Colbert about the same time time he stopped being in Jon Stewart's show. He used to do exactly like Saloo said. He went after the powerful. Then he lost his spine.
They used to be funny until they starting riding on the Lolita Express.
Gutfeld goes after everyone, including his own guests in a loving way, but they fire right back at him. It makes a great dynamic.
I also stopped watching Colbert for the same reason, he and all the other late night talk show host have sold out and have become propagandists... the only one I miss is Conan. But I think he pulled out because he knew what 🐂💩 was coming. But Gutfeld! has become a good replacement.

It's a sad state for the late night shows these days, I honestly never watch them. It's all regurgitated, stale material that isn't funny. I always respected Carson and even Leno because they tried to stay neutral and didn't obviously pander. They had to actually be funny! I'm glad their ratings are poor. Go Greg!
Yes, even though Leno was shady behind the scenes, he had to actually try to be funny. These guys now pretend to be Jon Stewart, but forget they need to poke fun at the powerful - regardless of what party they are. If we wanted comedy as stale as doing a news broadcast, they miss the whole point of what made that comedy. More of the same is not going to do it.
Yet the REAL comedy is FOX trying to pretend Jan 6 didn’t happen 🤣

What I love about this show is how organic and funny it is on the topics. You guys are show talking about politics and actually having fun together. Seeing Jimmy Norton and Florentine gives me O and A vibes. Keep killing it, gang!
