You're correct with # 1, most people who has iphone are not tech savvy, it's just the name they are going for. Apple in general is an eco-system that puts you into a box and you can't come outside. Ever try transferring movies, picture , music, documents etc onto an iphone? they want you to follow "THEIR" way. With any Android phone (including Samsung) it's "YOUR" way and easy. Another major comment - Apple iphone are about 5 to 8 years behind the technology of Android phone, I can speak about this because this what I do! iphone can't do 10% of the things Android phones can do. What task do you do on your iphone? call, text, surf the internet, use apps like FB, Whatsapp etc. Technically you're not using any function of the iphone you're using the apps, same apps are available on Google PlayStore and a much wider variety. The bottom like is that Apple control what you can and can't do on their iphone, Android is an open source and hence YOU the customer has the FREEDOM to do what you would like to do and not governed by restrictions.
