  • We FINALLY take the wife's brand new 2023 CanAm Maverick X3 DS Turbo for a trail ride! We don't go far, just around the backyard trails, but it's more than this Maverick's ever seen!

    X3s are insane fun . I installed the PDrive on my base DS Turbo a few months ago , that came stock on your DS. Definitely made a big difference, you won’t have to experience the 5100-5300 RPM clutch rattle that will vibrate your brain cells . I’m at about 1250 miles now . Want an RR but torn on staying 64” or going to 72”. We ride some tight places .

      So much fun to drive! Yeah I heard about the Pdrive upgrade, definitely happy to have it. My Talon is right about 73" wide and while it does make it feel incredibly stable, I love the agility of the 64" CanAm. I'm also looking into selling my Talon to grab an RR for myself, that will be a decision I have to make.
      Overall though, its a great machine and we love it!

    It's a beautiful machine and I love your add ons even though I think some of them should have already been on it from the factory. I'm sure most of us feel the same. 🍻🇨🇦

      I agree 100% most of them should have been done at the factory!

    I had the same “seat belt”issue with my 22RR lol. I agree with your son, the factory exhaust sounds nice!

    Great video! The camera position you used is excellent, and good camera too. No bouncing or jarring.. makes it easy to watch.

    What app are you running on the tablet?? Cool video!

      The app is called AGAMA car launcher, it’s pretty cool. Here’s a video showing what it does, and doesn’t do.

    I heard you say you had a talon before I had a talon as well & got an X3. What are your thoughts on both machines. I like the talon, but the X3 is an insane machine.

    • @GarzaGangAdventures
      @GarzaGangAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      The X3 is much more fun to drive.
      More power, much more maneuverable.
      The Honda…. We’ll, it’s a Honda.
      Still very capable, just not “throw you back in the seat” kind of capable. Still a blast to drive though.
      I actually still have the Talon. It’s a great machine!
      Really looking forward to seeing how they stack up against each other on the same trails. We have a trip to WV next week, so we’ll finally be able to see!

      @GarzaGang Adventures I agree 100% on everything you said. The suspension on X3 is so much more plush too. I couldn't believe it when I first rode it. I felt like if my back could talk it would tell me thank you. 😆 I only got 12hrs on mine so we'll see how durable it is compared to the talon. The talon was a tough machine! Trails and desert are the best riding for me. Have fun your trip. Thanks for the response. 👍

    how's the turning radius?.

    • @GarzaGangAdventures
      @GarzaGangAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me it’s great. But I’m coming from a Talon which has the same turning radius as a 4 seater RZR haha.
      It’s pretty nimble though, turns pretty tight!

      Most definitely.
      It’s a great machine and an absolute blast to drive!

    Get some Red and Green plastic tape and go out and Mark some trails!
    Is that dead logs on your trails!
    Wow- lots of them!

    • @GarzaGangAdventures
      @GarzaGangAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah there’s not that many, and we know them like the back of our hands, so need for markings. I do need to get out there and clear some trees off the trail though!

    Any regrets on not getting 4 seater? I’m having decision paralysis. I don’t want to eliminate the chance of ever having extra people ride, but is it worth $2,000/seat 😂😂

    • @GarzaGangAdventures
      @GarzaGangAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, yes and no. I do miss the space sometimes, but I love the agility of the 2 seater.
      But more space equals more storage and that’s always better.
      I don’t regret not going with the 4 seater, but sometimes I kinda wish we had one haha. I realize how dumb that may sound, haha.

    No SxS that cost 20k+ should come without a roof and full doors. Absolutely ridiculous that you have to buy them extra. Stupid.

      @GarzaGangAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree 100%. You can buy a new car for what these things cost.

      This was literally in our backyard. Slow cruise. He’s safe, but I do appreciate the concern.
      I always have him wear his helmet.

      @@GarzaGangAdventures I honestly didn’t mean anything from my comment. I’m buying my first ATV & UTV and I’ll close to retirement. Buying them mainly to spend time with the grandkids. I’m so so surprised how many TH-camrs doing crazy riding not wearing helmets.
      PS, you have a beautiful property, congrats

    • @GarzaGangAdventures
      @GarzaGangAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is really crazy. I see guys in RZRs all the time doing hill climbs, rolling backwards with no helmet. I’m all for doing some crazy stuff, but I’m making sure my helmets on first.
      But hey, to each, his own!
      Congrats on the new buy and hope you have fun with the grandkids!
      And thanks!!
