That’s a tough one. I’ve been kicking around the idea of a video surrounding this very topic. I think a lot of it boils down to the type of person you are, and what you don’t mind doing. I love the CanAm. It’s a blast to drive. That turbo performs so much better than the Honda. But, the maintenance is a PITA. For MY type of riding, which is what I talked about in the video, I think I might prefer the Honda. But it only comes from my style. I tend to ride hard, beat the machine up a little bit, and I want the least amount of work possible lol. I’ve abused that Talon for years, and it still starts up fine, with only oil changes and brakes pads so far!

awesome glad you checked them out, honestly I haven't even had to climb underneath my can am to do the oil drain since I got mine installed . Just slide a pan under and hit the valve.

You are only able to have one connection at a time. I downloaded my music to the tablet itself so I would have music when I don’t have a signal, and that allows to connect to camera WiFi.

@@jackbertram5576 hey thanks for watching! It’s actually not referred to as “cold siege” it’s actually called “cold seize”. That usually occurs in cold temperatures, when the bike isn’t warmed up. It was 90 degrees out. But yeah, it’s definitely NOT good to just start revving the engine up as high as I was right after starting it, but it didn’t want to idle either, so I had to give it some gas. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t need as much as I was giving it though lol. I’ll be the first to admit, it’s been awhile since I’ve road a dirt bike, but hey, that’s what it’s all about!!

We used a GoPro11 in this video, but we also have a GoPro 12 and a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 that we use.

@@retroelectro1190 I did actually, but it made it worse. I put it back and just kept adjusting everything until I was happy with it. Still really happy with the windshield. It’s been holding up great. I would do the tablet holder first: there are screws towards the front if I remember correctly, and it’ll be easier to do with no windshield!

I don’t think there’s any type of fuse, just make sure it’s in neutral and the battery is fully charged. I don’t remember, but you might have to have your foot on the brake also.

This is what I used… amzn.to/4bCjDGB They don’t sit flush on the skins because the skins aren’t flat. You’ll need to fill in the voids for sound quality. I used foam filler and silicone.

These are the exact same ones I bought. Maybe they change the design from when you bought them. Did you have to cut them at all?

@@srt8charger982 nope, no cutting needed. It’s been a few years since I installed them so it’s possible they changed the design. I do remember having to fight them in to make it work, but it was definitely possible. It was tight, but I was able to make it work!

Ok yea they made them so much bigger only way to fit them in would have to cut there huge they look like they would be for 8inch speakers instead of 6.5 I’m going to return them and go with different brand to see if I can fit them thanks for quick reply I love your videos

I hear ya. Sorry to disappoint! I had so much other actual riding footage that ended up getting corrupted, and we tried to make the most of it lol.

For the actual bumper used or the install process?

Still going strong! I was kind of worried because of the cooling fans and no way to exhaust the air, but so far, so good!
