Yeah bro everything fell flat to me and I was also waiting for an exciting entrant which never came. The fatal four way ending was meh as well. But I'm glad it looks like Cody will get that thing off of Roman.
I didn't even pay attention to the crowd during the match because I was watching with a group of my friends and we were all excited for this ppv and had big reactions to the big moments. So to me, Royal Rumble was an early contender for PPV of the Year
Ok but everything is better when you have friends. That’s a subjective take and the quality of the matches and the booking were mediocre. Having zayn come out at 30 and be eliminated quickly was dumb santos was eliminated too quickly the rumble is supposed to build stars but it didn’t at all and jey should’ve also been one of the final people there was no sense of urgency or important until the final two, and the crowd was dead on top of that. The fatal 4 way was predictable and the rumble matches never kicked it into gear. It had bad pacing especially the men’s rumble match it was boring.
@@Austin-l1j well, every take of a ppv is a subjective take. And my friends and I have watched every ppv together, WWE, AEW, and NXT and there are some we didn't like. But we all firmly agreed at around the 22 mark, that the women's rumble is probably the best so far. People are just disappointed they didn't see the surprises that were already out there. My friends and I were screaming when Naomi and Jordynne Grace both came out. I personally believe the Fatal Four Way didn't need Solo and it disappointed me tbh but the rest of the card to me worked really well. The men's rumble wasn't the greatest, but when you're expecting all these surprises that aren't needed, you're going to get disappointed. I actually thought MJF would come out at 30 but I still loved that sami returned. Sometimes you have to stay in the realism to enjoy the ppvs. I wasn't expecting AJ Lee or Sasha to come out. I wouldve loved it but I wasn't personally expecting it. Im sure if you rewatch the ppv knowing not to expect certain people, like Brock, MJF, AJ Lee, Sasha, or anyone else, then you'll see it actually is a very solid card, with one bad moment, that being Solo interference

No, the crowd can absolutely take away from a match. If the crowd doesnt care or is dead, it actively takes heat away from whats going on in the match and can take away from the entire experience. It is a factor and can sway someones opinion. What comes to mind is Mania 18. Hogan/Rock absolutely had the crowd add to the match and make it 10x better. The match in the ring wasnt amazing by any means, but the crowd made it feel like so much more. Now look at the match right after, Triple H/Jericho for the Championship. Crowd was beat after going crazy for the match before, and it showed in the match. While that match was probably technically better on paper, a crowd that's not as into the match can hurt it. And guess what, everyone remembers Hogan/Rock but not Triple H/Jericho.
No you can perfectly blame the crowd, he’s spot on, first of all I’ve never seen a deader crowd for the simplest of things, as in the countdown… specifically in the men’s match, Bizarre to say the least. 2. like he said, the the big moments didn’t feel what they were suppose to be at all, the final 4 and final 2 of Rhodes and Punk for 2 examples didn’t feel much energy and definitely no electricity from the crowd.. every year the rumble has that crazy feeling energy for the final 4 competitors, final 3, final 2, down to the the pop of the winner. (Obviously it varies in energy and electricity based on if it’s a dumb final 3 or bad rumble, stupid, pointless winner etc. this year of All, should of had so much electricity, and share with some of the greatest rumble atmospheres… Punk. Rhodes. McIntyre. Gunther. Insane final 4, unheard of! 4 deserving of winning and a final 2 of Rhodes and Punk that was so unpredictable! Back and fourth and yet so underwhelming of what should of been blowing the roof off the darn place!
Roman in a boring 4 way and wins again with Solo interference. Cody winning the Rumble again, CM Punk who looked out of shape compared to to the other 5, Liv and Sammy as your number 30 entrances and not making even a dent in the finale. Jade clearly not knowing what to do at times. The show wasn't solid. It was ok at best. Only thing good was Bayley finally winning the Rumble. Hopefully Naomi this week will also get a loud apology from WWE in how she was treated when her and Mercedes rightfully so walked out in 2022 and were buried TWICE live on air on both shows

As a returning fan who hadn’t watched WWE since early 2010, this show was a blast, It feels to me like fans have been feasting these last year or two and had to high expectations for the Rumble

Cody winning was the most logical way of having the build to Roman vs. Cody 2, because unlike the other big feud we are expecting to see at Mania, which is Rollins vs. Punk, both men aren't on the same show, so to give Cody an actual reason to be on SmackDown and have a proper build, he had to have won the rumble.
And the winner gets to "main event" Wrestlemania if Punk won Seth vs Punk would've been on Night 1 anyways cuz it's not bigger than a Roman Reigns match so Punk losing and finding a way to main event night 1 makes more sense than him winnin the Rumble and Main eventing Night 1🤷🏾♂️
Bayley winning saved this event. We had a group stream with 3 Bayley supporters at first but as the match went on everyone was cheering like maniacs for her.
I was happy Bayley won, but at one point I did say Jade Cargill is winning and her winning wouldn’t have surprised me. I can say though that with the current WWE women’s roster it’s hard to get excited over an Iyo Vs Bayley match at WM. Just my opinion.
I liked this rumble as it shows that the wwe is stacked and also it really builds up storylines like bobby and cross, Carlito and Escobar, judgement day and r truth, and can’t forget the usos. So I thought the 2024 rumble was great but if the crowd was alive would’ve been better
It definitely felt empty because of the crowd. i wasnt expecting any legends, and im fine with them not returning because the current roster is stacked af, and it's kind of a breath of fresh air.
As much as I love Punk, honestly looking at him kinda struggle just makes me sad. I know he passed his prime, now looking at him wrestle at the age 45 and he looks so tired (eventhough he's number 27 in the rumble), hope he can keep up the pace in the future.
7:40 not sure about Punk having a great performance, I love CM Punk but he looked gassed after 5 minutes into the match, that ending mini match with Cody was so goddamn slow and in combination with the crowd being dead really took me out of it. In the end even though I wanted Gunther or Punk to win, I think Cody was the right choice. Really hyped for Elimination Chamber now. Also the Woman's Royal Rumble was goated.

I also enjoyed the PPV for the most part. There were some parts that kinda sucked like Roman winning due to interference again even tho I knew it would happen. Also I was really hoping to see Gable in the Rumble. Aside from that and a few other minor things, I enjoyed it.
I’m tired of people saying the crowd was dead. I was there in person. There were huge pops for Naomi, Cody, Punk, etc. The crowd noise just doesn’t pick up that well on TV.

Watched it with a buddy who had never really watched wwe before (just a few matches on TH-cam) and we had a great time. I feel like alot of the disappointment is just from over expectations with returns and legends. The roster is so stacked we don’t need that anymore and that’s fine! I was really glad to see Sami back and Jade Cargill absolutely stole the show
Agreed The crowd messed up a LOT of moments. They didn't react as much as they should've. It was so weird! But also, the Vince news was still fresh so.
I was actually there and I can say it was loud as hell but it's a baseball stadium so it doesn't carry sound well. Plus half the crowd couldn't see anything since they kept everyone's titantrons on the whole time for the entrances. You'll see in the post show interviews the wrestlers talked about how lively the place was.

Great One... I am 2 minutes in and I am already getting a bit annoyed. You are saying that R-Truth coming out for the Women's Royal Rumble was "predictable"? How is that predictable? It is super funny because it's R-Truth and I loved that bit so much from him. He can literally make anything funny. I feel cody winning was the right choice, at wm 40 we can have him finish the story and rock would cost roman the title setting up the match for next year much like what they did with cena vs rock. This way the title won’t be involved and everything could go smoothly under triple h’s direction of long term story telling.
So I actually talked to a guy who went to RR 2024, and he said that the crowd was actually chanting, but the Stadium pretty much absorbed a lot of the sound and it just didn't translate well to Peacock. That being said, almost everyone in the front row should forfeit their tickets because man, they are lame as hell

I was there & the crowd was really good in the building. Just not a good stadium for carrying sound. A lot of people in house were just disappointed at times but their volume was very good in person (edit) also part of the arena couldn’t even see the entrance ramp due to the set up of the stage so we couldn’t even do “it’s clobbering time” for example
The problem with Cody winning is that you can’t gas light something too much or you’ll get sick of it in this case Cody, Since Cody was loved by many people last year and is still I can’t but feel a little bummed that we have to do this all over again and we have no choice. But at the end of the day as we learned in wrestlemania, Cody and Roman are meant to fight together. Hopefully during a raw or smack down they’ll be a surprise entrance.

Blaming the crowd is lame af and a massive cop out. I agree the crowd was underwhelmed, but that was primarily because most of what happened felt extremely predictable. Everybody pretty much predicted how it went, but there was plenty to also make the crowd loose interest, like wasting a spot on Mcafee. It also felt like there was drastically less piped in cheers than usual, and typically for the WWE that’s the bulk or the que of the audience reaction. But insisting that the crowd wasn’t responding properly is hilarious, like if you’re gonna spend a fuck ton of money for a wrestling show then you better do a good job of reacting? I think that’s a sign the show needs to be better bud.

I was in the crowd at the rumble, in all honesty, the crowd was really good and really hype for a lot of the returns and matches. The Cody and CM punk 1v1 felt dull at sometimes, like you could see some guys yawning so that’s why that aspect was underwhelming but the pop Cody got after winning was loud and amazing

CM Punk did not looked good on this rumble at all, from being out of shape (for a professional wrestler) and constantly running out of breath. It really felt like watching the undertaker at WrestleMania 33 against roman. Honestly kinda killed any hype i had for Punk vs Rollins at Mania 40......
The something missing that people were feeling is all due to the insane expectations that there was going to be an Okada/MJF/Mercedes Mone/AJ Lee type surprise return. The IWC all sold each other that there was a chance it could happen. So when the super insane return didnt happen, it left people feeling like something wasnt there. I personally didnt feel that way, but I could see if someone got hyped for something huge and it didnt happen how they could be disappointed. I think the main issue for me was while Cody winning makes sense, I wouldve rather he faced more adversity to get there. Have him win at Chamber or something to give some uncertainty as to if he will finish the story. Now we absolutely know that Cody is winning at Mania. If he somehow doesnt, that will probably be one of the biggest swerves of all time and will go down horribly with fans lol

I guess the more WWE hosts these events in America, the more the American crowds get used to it, hence they're not so hyped to see wwe superstars physically like non Americans audiences do, it's kind of a shame, and it's weird cuz it feels like we're being given something so big and exciting, yet, no matter what the crowd is still not hyped enough, I remember being disappointed at the crowd in last year's summerslam with Roman vs Jey, just because of the crowd I changed my mind to thinking that Jey shouldn't win because the crowd reaction wouldn't be hype enough
I was there and everyone was hype for stuff it's just that Tropicana field is a shitty stadium and doesn't carry sound well because it's made for baseball. Along with that by the end of the show they ran out of drinks and the place was hot so people were thursty(and honestly Punk V Cody went on like 5 minutes too long).
It's understandable that they want to showcase all of their talents but they should've added a few more surprises. Time for 40 person rumble next year.
It was a pretty good PPV. I think people just overhyped it way too much and now they are mad just because the booking didn't go the way they wanted. For me the biggest mistake in the men's rumble was placing Sami Zayn's return at no.30 and not another number.
There are few things you should add in your perspective. It was Punk's first match, it had to be big and it was big in my opinion but, this is something other deserves first or more. Its the same as in case of Cena. We (or some of us) would like to see him win 17th world title but even if he doesn't, he has written his legacy, same goes for Punk. We (or I at least) want to see Punk winning the Rumble, I want to see him main eventing Wrestlemania but this moment was right. And making perfect sense. I was sure one of those two are going to win the Rumble match and the other is going to win in the chamber, Cody is going to face Roman and might finish the story this time but, in the match of Punk vs Rollins at Wrestlemania, maybe Punk will win but Priest is going to cash-in and will get the title. Again my point some people deserves first.
The women's rumble was good and probably the best one they had since they started doing them. I'm glad they didn't go crazy with the kofi spots except for Kairi's attempt at one. The men's just fell flat even though I enjoyed the ending though it did go on a little too long but it was worth the build. Overall the right two people won. Bayley for her story with Damage CTRL and Cody to erase the rumors about the Rock or at least it would delay that for another time.

The women having none was alright because it always had too many legends in it. But the men’s had so many options to go for because so many male legends have stated many times they would love to do a one off appearance in the rumble. RVD, Chris Masters, etc. At least one would have been a nice change of pace. Roman’s match ended predictably as fuck making it lame. Logan Paul’s match waa good as usual at least

To be honest it's doesn't who matter who win royal rumble because it was clear chody vs Roman and Seth vs punk in wm 40 there's no way this match not gonna happened they make chody win since Seth is injured he can't do proper story build in his current state so they waiting for him to get well first before working on punk vs seth
Both Royal Rumble were very solid from booking POV. IMO what I felt weird were some out of timed sequences and some random eliminations. Forexample, I didn't get the eliminations of Jimmy, Jey and Sami to make a point. Just felt random.

For me it was the women’s royal rumble though I’ve gotta admit and give props because my favourite ending was that US title ending match, so good and creative and just unique compared to what we usually get nowadays for disqualification endings to a match
Iv been to a few live events. Iv noticed alot of fans only get loud for entrances n mic segments. They like singing n shouting catchphrases . But during the matches they are silent even playing on their phones .
I agree with everything except Omas. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the crowd being so dead. I have no idea what that was about. But I think Omas will be a fixture in the RR for years to come. This is the first RR I watched in years, and Kane and Big Show were dearly missed by me because I love when the giants clear the ring. So when I saw Omas, it was kinda nice.
There was no storyline progression during the RR matches. They eliminated balor & JD earlier whereas they could've used them to sow seeds of crevices in judgement day until Damien Priest came out. Same thing happened when Asuka & Kairi eliminated earlier. Why Jimmy Uso wasn't eliminated by Jey? It was like every elimination didn't mean anything except "Oh look there goes another one". Why Damien eliminated R-Truth in a hurry & Dominik didn't come to rescue R-Truth as he saved Dom in a few instances? Could've progressed so many storylines & create meaningful eliminations.
I thought the whole thing was you couldn't eliminate yourself and your opponent had to throw you over. I thought thats how they explained Macho Man not eliminating himself, plus other people over the years. They should have had someone just push Pat out

Women's Royal Rumble: I didn't really care about it, but I was happy Bayley won. The Fatal 4-Way did not deliver at all; it ended when it started to get good. Surprisingly, I enjoyed Kevin Owens versus Logan Paul the most. The worst part about this pay-per-view was Cody winning the Royal Rumble. Just why? CM Punk made his debut in the ring, and you make Cody win? How does that even cross anyone's mind? A big superstar just made his return, and you make him lose, creating unnecessary drama for no apparent reason other than personal issues. After this match, I don't feel good about anything, especially Cody; I just hate him right now.
In regards to 1:10 - The reports say that it was Bron Breaker who replaced Brock Lesnar, which would make sense because he did A LOT, almost just as much as Brock would have done

I didn't even pay attention to the crowd during the match because I was watching with a group of my friends and we were all excited for this ppv and had big reactions to the big moments. So to me, Royal Rumble was an early contender for PPV of the Year

Ok but everything is better when you have friends. That’s a subjective take and the quality of the matches and the booking were mediocre. Having zayn come out at 30 and be eliminated quickly was dumb santos was eliminated too quickly the rumble is supposed to build stars but it didn’t at all and jey should’ve also been one of the final people there was no sense of urgency or important until the final two, and the crowd was dead on top of that. The fatal 4 way was predictable and the rumble matches never kicked it into gear. It had bad pacing especially the men’s rumble match it was boring.
@@Austin-l1j well, every take of a ppv is a subjective take. And my friends and I have watched every ppv together, WWE, AEW, and NXT and there are some we didn't like. But we all firmly agreed at around the 22 mark, that the women's rumble is probably the best so far. People are just disappointed they didn't see the surprises that were already out there. My friends and I were screaming when Naomi and Jordynne Grace both came out. I personally believe the Fatal Four Way didn't need Solo and it disappointed me tbh but the rest of the card to me worked really well. The men's rumble wasn't the greatest, but when you're expecting all these surprises that aren't needed, you're going to get disappointed. I actually thought MJF would come out at 30 but I still loved that sami returned. Sometimes you have to stay in the realism to enjoy the ppvs. I wasn't expecting AJ Lee or Sasha to come out. I wouldve loved it but I wasn't personally expecting it. Im sure if you rewatch the ppv knowing not to expect certain people, like Brock, MJF, AJ Lee, Sasha, or anyone else, then you'll see it actually is a very solid card, with one bad moment, that being Solo interference

No, the crowd can absolutely take away from a match. If the crowd doesnt care or is dead, it actively takes heat away from whats going on in the match and can take away from the entire experience. It is a factor and can sway someones opinion.
What comes to mind is Mania 18. Hogan/Rock absolutely had the crowd add to the match and make it 10x better. The match in the ring wasnt amazing by any means, but the crowd made it feel like so much more. Now look at the match right after, Triple H/Jericho for the Championship. Crowd was beat after going crazy for the match before, and it showed in the match. While that match was probably technically better on paper, a crowd that's not as into the match can hurt it. And guess what, everyone remembers Hogan/Rock but not Triple H/Jericho.

Rhodes. McIntyre. Gunther. Insane final 4, unheard of! 4 deserving of winning and a final 2 of Rhodes and Punk that was so unpredictable! Back and fourth and yet so underwhelming of what should of been blowing the roof off the darn place!
Roman in a boring 4 way and wins again with Solo interference. Cody winning the Rumble again, CM Punk who looked out of shape compared to to the other 5, Liv and Sammy as your number 30 entrances and not making even a dent in the finale. Jade clearly not knowing what to do at times. The show wasn't solid. It was ok at best. Only thing good was Bayley finally winning the Rumble. Hopefully Naomi this week will also get a loud apology from WWE in how she was treated when her and Mercedes rightfully so walked out in 2022 and were buried TWICE live on air on both shows

Cody winning was the most logical way of having the build to Roman vs. Cody 2, because unlike the other big feud we are expecting to see at Mania, which is Rollins vs. Punk, both men aren't on the same show, so to give Cody an actual reason to be on SmackDown and have a proper build, he had to have won the rumble.

Bayley winning saved this event. We had a group stream with 3 Bayley supporters at first but as the match went on everyone was cheering like maniacs for her.
I was happy Bayley won, but at one point I did say Jade Cargill is winning and her winning wouldn’t have surprised me. I can say though that with the current WWE women’s roster it’s hard to get excited over an Iyo Vs Bayley match at WM. Just my opinion.

7:40 not sure about Punk having a great performance, I love CM Punk but he looked gassed after 5 minutes into the match, that ending mini match with Cody was so goddamn slow and in combination with the crowd being dead really took me out of it. In the end even though I wanted Gunther or Punk to win, I think Cody was the right choice. Really hyped for Elimination Chamber now. Also the Woman's Royal Rumble was goated.

Watched it with a buddy who had never really watched wwe before (just a few matches on TH-cam) and we had a great time. I feel like alot of the disappointment is just from over expectations with returns and legends. The roster is so stacked we don’t need that anymore and that’s fine! I was really glad to see Sami back and Jade Cargill absolutely stole the show

The crowd messed up a LOT of moments. They didn't react as much as they should've. It was so weird! But also, the Vince news was still fresh so.
I was actually there and I can say it was loud as hell but it's a baseball stadium so it doesn't carry sound well. Plus half the crowd couldn't see anything since they kept everyone's titantrons on the whole time for the entrances. You'll see in the post show interviews the wrestlers talked about how lively the place was.

I feel cody winning was the right choice, at wm 40 we can have him finish the story and rock would cost roman the title setting up the match for next year much like what they did with cena vs rock. This way the title won’t be involved and everything could go smoothly under triple h’s direction of long term story telling.
So I actually talked to a guy who went to RR 2024, and he said that the crowd was actually chanting, but the Stadium pretty much absorbed a lot of the sound and it just didn't translate well to Peacock. That being said, almost everyone in the front row should forfeit their tickets because man, they are lame as hell

I was there & the crowd was really good in the building. Just not a good stadium for carrying sound. A lot of people in house were just disappointed at times but their volume was very good in person (edit) also part of the arena couldn’t even see the entrance ramp due to the set up of the stage so we couldn’t even do “it’s clobbering time” for example
The problem with Cody winning is that you can’t gas light something too much or you’ll get sick of it in this case Cody, Since Cody was loved by many people last year and is still I can’t but feel a little bummed that we have to do this all over again and we have no choice. But at the end of the day as we learned in wrestlemania, Cody and Roman are meant to fight together. Hopefully during a raw or smack down they’ll be a surprise entrance.

Blaming the crowd is lame af and a massive cop out. I agree the crowd was underwhelmed, but that was primarily because most of what happened felt extremely predictable. Everybody pretty much predicted how it went, but there was plenty to also make the crowd loose interest, like wasting a spot on Mcafee. It also felt like there was drastically less piped in cheers than usual, and typically for the WWE that’s the bulk or the que of the audience reaction. But insisting that the crowd wasn’t responding properly is hilarious, like if you’re gonna spend a fuck ton of money for a wrestling show then you better do a good job of reacting? I think that’s a sign the show needs to be better bud.

I was in the crowd at the rumble, in all honesty, the crowd was really good and really hype for a lot of the returns and matches. The Cody and CM punk 1v1 felt dull at sometimes, like you could see some guys yawning so that’s why that aspect was underwhelming but the pop Cody got after winning was loud and amazing

CM Punk did not looked good on this rumble at all, from being out of shape (for a professional wrestler) and constantly running out of breath. It really felt like watching the undertaker at WrestleMania 33 against roman. Honestly kinda killed any hype i had for Punk vs Rollins at Mania 40......
The something missing that people were feeling is all due to the insane expectations that there was going to be an Okada/MJF/Mercedes Mone/AJ Lee type surprise return. The IWC all sold each other that there was a chance it could happen. So when the super insane return didnt happen, it left people feeling like something wasnt there. I personally didnt feel that way, but I could see if someone got hyped for something huge and it didnt happen how they could be disappointed.
I think the main issue for me was while Cody winning makes sense, I wouldve rather he faced more adversity to get there. Have him win at Chamber or something to give some uncertainty as to if he will finish the story. Now we absolutely know that Cody is winning at Mania. If he somehow doesnt, that will probably be one of the biggest swerves of all time and will go down horribly with fans lol

I was there and everyone was hype for stuff it's just that Tropicana field is a shitty stadium and doesn't carry sound well because it's made for baseball. Along with that by the end of the show they ran out of drinks and the place was hot so people were thursty(and honestly Punk V Cody went on like 5 minutes too long).

It was a pretty good PPV. I think people just overhyped it way too much and now they are mad just because the booking didn't go the way they wanted.
For me the biggest mistake in the men's rumble was placing Sami Zayn's return at no.30 and not another number.
There are few things you should add in your perspective. It was Punk's first match, it had to be big and it was big in my opinion but, this is something other deserves first or more. Its the same as in case of Cena. We (or some of us) would like to see him win 17th world title but even if he doesn't, he has written his legacy, same goes for Punk. We (or I at least) want to see Punk winning the Rumble, I want to see him main eventing Wrestlemania but this moment was right. And making perfect sense. I was sure one of those two are going to win the Rumble match and the other is going to win in the chamber, Cody is going to face Roman and might finish the story this time but, in the match of Punk vs Rollins at Wrestlemania, maybe Punk will win but Priest is going to cash-in and will get the title. Again my point some people deserves first.

The women's rumble was good and probably the best one they had since they started doing them. I'm glad they didn't go crazy with the kofi spots except for Kairi's attempt at one. The men's just fell flat even though I enjoyed the ending though it did go on a little too long but it was worth the build. Overall the right two people won. Bayley for her story with Damage CTRL and Cody to erase the rumors about the Rock or at least it would delay that for another time.
i guess no one is gonna be happy no matter what they do. it was a great show and great matches throughout, its the fans fault for having unrealistic expectations for the matches
He has full right to feel the way he does. The show wasn’t THAT great. It was alright at best. The Women’s Rumble was fine, but the Men’s was kind of boring with zero surprises. The women having none was alright because it always had too many legends in it. But the men’s had so many options to go for because so many male legends have stated many times they would love to do a one off appearance in the rumble. RVD, Chris Masters, etc. At least one would have been a nice change of pace.
Roman’s match ended predictably as fuck making it lame. Logan Paul’s match waa good as usual at least

Guys like RVD aren’t retired and can still go, there’s nothing wrong with wanting them to appear. I just don’t care for the many NXT stars in the rumbles this year and neither do the casual fans

To be honest it's doesn't who matter who win royal rumble because it was clear chody vs Roman and Seth vs punk in wm 40 there's no way this match not gonna happened they make chody win since Seth is injured he can't do proper story build in his current state so they waiting for him to get well first before working on punk vs seth
Both Royal Rumble were very solid from booking POV. IMO what I felt weird were some out of timed sequences and some random eliminations. Forexample, I didn't get the eliminations of Jimmy, Jey and Sami to make a point. Just felt random.

For me it was the women’s royal rumble though I’ve gotta admit and give props because my favourite ending was that US title ending match, so good and creative and just unique compared to what we usually get nowadays for disqualification endings to a match
I think it's safe to say we can agree to disagree. The show was great just the way it was. Did it go above and beyond no, and it didn't need to.
Cody was the only option to win. Cody had to win the rumble to face Roman, Punk can and will still face Seth, he didn’t need to win the rumble
Iv been to a few live events. Iv noticed alot of fans only get loud for entrances n mic segments. They like singing n shouting catchphrases . But during the matches they are silent even playing on their phones .
I agree with everything except Omas. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the crowd being so dead. I have no idea what that was about. But I think Omas will be a fixture in the RR for years to come. This is the first RR I watched in years, and Kane and Big Show were dearly missed by me because I love when the giants clear the ring. So when I saw Omas, it was kinda nice.
There was no storyline progression during the RR matches. They eliminated balor & JD earlier whereas they could've used them to sow seeds of crevices in judgement day until Damien Priest came out. Same thing happened when Asuka & Kairi eliminated earlier. Why Jimmy Uso wasn't eliminated by Jey? It was like every elimination didn't mean anything except "Oh look there goes another one". Why Damien eliminated R-Truth in a hurry & Dominik didn't come to rescue R-Truth as he saved Dom in a few instances? Could've progressed so many storylines & create meaningful eliminations.
I thought the whole thing was you couldn't eliminate yourself and your opponent had to throw you over. I thought thats how they explained Macho Man not eliminating himself, plus other people over the years. They should have had someone just push Pat out
They wasted Jey and Jimmy starting off by having Bron Breaker eliminate Jimmy. It should’ve been Jey and that starts their feud for WrestleMania

1. No jey uso eliminating jimmy
2. No brock vs gunther or bron
3. No actual fired up finishers after rhodes or punk entered.
4. No active response from crowd it was okayish
5. No Kofi doing stuffs
Women's Royal Rumble: I didn't really care about it, but I was happy Bayley won. The Fatal 4-Way did not deliver at all; it ended when it started to get good. Surprisingly, I enjoyed Kevin Owens versus Logan Paul the most. The worst part about this pay-per-view was Cody winning the Royal Rumble. Just why? CM Punk made his debut in the ring, and you make Cody win? How does that even cross anyone's mind? A big superstar just made his return, and you make him lose, creating unnecessary drama for no apparent reason other than personal issues. After this match, I don't feel good about anything, especially Cody; I just hate him right now.

In regards to 1:10 - The reports say that it was Bron Breaker who replaced Brock Lesnar, which would make sense because he did A LOT, almost just as much as Brock would have done
