This is the heart of the blues my friend :)
This performance was Stevie flexing on EVERYONE.
EVERYONE.
Pure Texas blues !!!!!!!
Texas Blues is the best way to describe SRV music. He loved the blues, played with Bb King, Johnny Copeland, Albert King all blues legends.
This is straight blues.
Texas blues at its best
He & Johnny Copeland has a video called Tin Pan Alley😉
Many great blues man has played with Stevie
I am so glad you did this one!!! This is the best of Texas blues. You just witnessed one of the greatest guitarest of all time. I was fortunate enough to have met him a couple of in the late 70s. Stevie lost his life after his helicopter crashed after he left a concert. This will be a rabbit hole you will want to go down. Stevie and his guitar are like one entity Great Reaction ❤.
THE ONE and only, SRV. GOAT! 🔥🔥🔥
Texas Blues 🎸
Stevie didn't "play" guitar, he "Possessed" it.
I once heard someone make this statement... I sure hope that guitar was 18 years old cause Stevie did some nasty stuff to it! Lmao
His guitar needed a cigarette after that performance , 😍🔥🎸🐐JUST SAYING!!
He should give that guitar a cigarette!!!
No one could touch that instrument after Stevie violated it.
G.O.A.T.
I love watching people react to this
Stevie leaves 'em speechless every time! It gives me hope for this world 🐶😎🇺🇸
Great Reaction as usual my friend! Thank you 😊
My take - SRV was the GOAT! RIP Stevie, ❤ a Musical Genius.
BB King said he played in sentances, but Stevie played in paragraphs. Both Bb King & Eric Clapton said stevie was a channel and the music seemed to just flow through him. ❤
I second Tin Pan Alley live with Johnny Copeland - its a clinic in blues & knocks my socks off every time. ❤
I also highly suggest Stevie Ray Vaughan 'Life Without You' live at the Capital Theater. A song SRV wrote for his late friend Charlie Wirtz who passed away suddenly, SRV plays behind his back, with his teeth (even losing one), speaks a message to the crowd still relevant today & does a guitar swap. Well worth the time. 😊
And you'd do well I think to check out his 'Sessions' recordings with Albert King (The Velvet Bulldozer) - Born Under A Bad Sign, The Blues at Sunrise & Don't Lie To Me are 3 of my favs.
Thanks Again & Happy New Year!
I heard the guitar 🎸 needed a cigarette after. Lol
Texas blues, baby!
Peak level musician
Stevie Ray was the GOAT. RIP
My husband idolized his playing-taught himself the behind-the-back thing. SO COOL!
SRV was the real deal
Probably one of the best guitarist in contemporary music an argument can be made.
He single handily brought the blues back to rock in a time when it was needed.
There are no words to describe SRV's greatness and pure raw talent!
SRV was the greatest. I saw him live and it was mind blowing.
Stevie was beyond Hendrix. Stevie's musical genius was unparalleled.
Get real... Listen to machine gun live....
Both legends, pick your favorite as the best and you'd be right.
Blues
SRV ~ 🎸🐐 The goatiest goat in all of goatness
Do yourself a HUGE favor:
**Life Without You at Capitol Theater**
**Voodoo Child at Austin City Limits 1989**
Always love your reactions, a Must see for sure is "life without you "at the capital theater . Believe me, it's truly incredible!!! ♥ 🙏 srv will always be the goat
This is pure blues brother
Nicely played Brother 👍👍 Welcome to the party! Stevie's catalog is vast... please don't hesitate to dive deep 🙏 please! And as for the green stuff...fire it up ❤️🔥 Spread the love 🐶😎🇺🇸
Blues! By a master!
Jahherbs you jus stumbled upon one of the true guitar gods
Great reaction bro!!! Blues, Southern Rock
The King of Texas Blues brother.
Texas blues at its finest!
This is all Blues my friend.
A man possessed by his guitar----or vice-versa.
This is blues as good as you'll ever hear it.
I Work a couple of shows with him as a stage hand He's amazing take the journey
This is straight up TEXAS BLUES.
My favorites are “That guitar needed a cigarette after that” and “My guitar watches this video when I leave the house”
This my friend...is the blues.
He didn't just play, he rode the guitar like a theme park ride, didn't even think of where to go next, just closed his eyes and let it happen and what came out??? Greatness, the most perfect guitar player there ever was! Never a missed note, messup, just pure Greatness!
According to Tommy Shannon's book (bass player), he and Stevie were still racked in their cocaine addiction at this point, and 1 hour before this show, Stevie was in a cocaine induced coma. Medical personnel were called in town here in Toronto, to rouse him. After an hour of vitamins and IV fluids he was up, sweating profusely (all the extra water in his system) and rearing to go. Tommy says this was their best show ever taped, and they did get sober 3 years later.
SRV is an absolute Blues "Legend" R.I.P. SRV
SRV🐐🐐
The best of the guitar gods!!!
You should see Stevie playing "Pipeline" with his brother, Jimmie.
Blues!
This was before SRV got clean. He fought his demons of drug and alcohol and it's documented that he was high AF on coke during this show. That was part of the reason for the profuse sweating. He was the GOAT!
His sweat dripped all over me at a concert I attended 2 weeks before he died...years after he got clean. He's sweating from working that thang...cocaine or not.
@@whome1299 That's why I said " part of the reason".
Its the Blues Stevie Ray Vaughan Style. ❤❤
Stevie is your favorite guitarist’s favorite guitarist.
He can make that guitar do whatever he wants
SRV was mainly Blues and Texas Blues as this one reflects....But, he had no problem with playing Blues Rock and Rockabilly tunes! He truly was dynamic and incredibly talented.
This is blues, Texas style.
Blues / rock
Youve just witnesed a genuus st work.
Rhere eill never be snother Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Thanks, Jah! this is da BLUES! never been anyone before or since.. SRV is the GOAT! appreciate your reaction and hope you do more... (p.s. Stevie covered a couple of Jimi's tunes.. respectfully.. )
No doubt! Will do 🎵🔥🎵🔥🎵
@@Jahherbz I highly recommend "Look at Little Sister".. or "Mary Had a Little Lamb"... or "Tin Pan Alley" (with Johnny Copeland.. another classic blues guitarist...)
The apotheosis of Texas blues!
This is straight up BLUES…played by the goat 🐐
It’s called the blues guitar!
Blues/Rock my friend!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Electric Blues Heaven. You can ride the 🎵 notes😊
Texas Blues!!!
The genre is SRV and it has a member of one.
The GOATS of Electric Blues! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 You don’t have to block him….It’s the blues…he’s a Texas Cowboy! Dude they call this the Blues! 🤨
Great Reaction 👍🙏
The genre is Texas blues…
100% Texas Blues
This is how you get subs and likes! SRV was the GOAT~and he was a huge fan of Hendrix, watch his "Voodoo Chile"
If I had to pick 2 SRV songs to recommend to a newbie, it would be "Life Without You" and "Tin Pan Alley" with Johnny Copeland. RIP Stevie~❤
SRV's version of "Voodoo Child" is also a great one.
"Jimi Hendrix, next-level kinda shit" is correct. 😂
😊 Delta Blues at its best!
It's just SRV there is no category to put him in except the G.O.A.T. category!!!!
playing behind the back is like playing forward, your hands know the same patterns. The trick is keeping the strings from bumping your ass or your shirt.
SRV, you have to dig into his catalog, here's just a few to try . Life without you capitol theater NJ 1985 , Tin pan alley with guest Johnny Copland .
It's the " blues " brother !
Country Rock IS a thing. But that’s not SRV. He’s pure Texas Blues (sub genre of Blues). 😢
SRV was the GOAT & truly amazing to see/hear especially when you take into account that he wasnt very good at reading or writing music & played everything by ear & feel. Another truly amazing guitarist you should checkout is Jeff Healey BUT you MUST checkout a LIVE video to truly understand why he is so amazing.(checkout 'See The Light' by Jeff Healey, live version) After you watch Jeff Healey you might want to checkout the video of SRV's song "Little Sister" that SRV & Healey decided to do together. Unfortunately both SRV & Jeff Healey are no longer with us, at least i was lucky enough to see them both before they passed. I was fortunate to have a Mother that not only had eclectic taste is music but was a bit of a 'Hippie' so she felt i needed to be 'exposed' to all kinds of things/people. My 'musical education' was extremely important to her so she took me to concerts from a very early age, apparently she started taking me even before i could walk. I remember being in elementary school & Mom would take me out of class early for some concert or show she had planned. There were even times that she'd have me miss class the next day if the concert/show caused us to get home too late or if we went out of town for it. I was lucky enough to experience some truly awesome things as a kid that not many were able to. I'd probably been to over 20 concerts before i became a teenager thanks to my Mom. Things my Mom 'did or was allowed to do or take me to' when i was a kid sure wouldnt be seen as 'okay' now a days.
BLUES. Wow.
So excited live at the el mocambo, Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa Id rather go blind live, ACDC ride on 😊😊😊
Bro, check out some of the video live concert from the capital theater in basic New Jersey. That's one of those shows I did
SRV idolized Jimi Hendrix. Watch Vodoo Chile live at Austin City Limits 1989!
That guitar sure needed a cigarette after that!
🎸Bless my Texas soul... ❤️🔥 🎙
🎶Floodin' down in Texas, indeed. Mercy 🔥🎶

It's called "BLUES"
BLUES
RIP SRV, just got cleaned up to die in a helicopter crash after a concert.
Now catch Eddie Van Halen - Solo Eruption
Country/Rock... You mean BLUES? Cuz that’s what it is.
BB King can't play this kind of BLUES..does his own sound..
Great choice i saw him 5 times always a great show. Stevie was a huge Hendrix fan. My first ticket was $6.50 my last one $11.00 I have 237 ticket stubs in a scrap book never lost a stubs my first concert was Aerosmith July 4th 1976 market share arena Indianapolis Indiana was 14 yrs old went with my older cousins. People started shooting off bottle rockets inside saw one explode by a girl's head they stop the show an said if it didn't stop there were going to quit playing an they stopped shooting them off it was a crazy first concert.
🙂👍🔥
LOVE the reaction!! :) Maybe check out NEIL PEART Buddy Rich HONOR?????!!!!!!!!! :) ♥AND, or... Victor Wooten bass magic????????? :) “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13

TEXAS BLUSES
You thought of everything BUT...
bruv has never heard of the blues
BLUES....not country.
That’s weird.
You need to lay off the ganjaweed.
Country? Rock? Straight blues. Jeez this is bad
