    Does your blade float? Way better for smoothing the rock drive

      I wish it did, no I control the level as needed. Is that an option on excavators?

    that thumb attachment is brilliant. I don't suppose you have any simple plans for it, or dimensions. Here in Japan, no digger has a thumb or "near-bucket" attachment; they only have/use stand-alone scissors or grapples. Big waist of money when your solution is so simple and elegant! Thanks for the vid!

      Hi Shimoda Life, thanks for watching, 😀although I don't have this machine anymore. I'm happy to give you basic dimensions for a mini digger. Email me at info@getadigger.co.nz or search getadigger on Facebook for contact. Thanks again 😎

      Also check out my latest videos for another thumb I built for my 2.6 T digger 😎

      @@getadigger Thanks for the feedback. I've found a few of these thumbs online, out of China. Since they're only a couple hundred bucks, when my Komatsu PC30 arrives on Saturday, I'll take some measurements and get something made in a shop. Will certainly be better that what I'll be able to create! I'll watch more of your videos, and continue training myself in digger-ness. :-)

      @@ShimodaLife awesome! Here in NZ they cost about 1000 so that's why I built one for under 200 😎
      Not sure if you follow letsdig18 but he is a great operator, always lots to learn for sure 😋

    Hey goid work there mate! That thumb idea is so brilliant and simple. Who needs a ram on it!? That grader blade is great too, been trying to think how to do that. Do you think it’d be ok for leveling new screened soil? Was thinking about making one but thought I might need a ram to tilt it for various contours we’d do then I thought I might be a bit out of my depth. Lol! You’ve inspired me.

      Hey mate, you can do whatever you set your mind to. I only taught myself to weld a few years ago.. Video on my latest build.. Exactly what you're describing.. th-cam.com/video/9dm8hGKjrfI/w-d-xo.html.. Thanks for watching mate.

      Would you purchase the tilting bucket again? Is the tilting grading bucket essential or just nice to have?

    • @getadigger
      @getadigger  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ridebadger sorry mate only just saw your question! I use the tilt bucket every day and it makes work much faster and a better result. I wouldn't be without one. I would perhaps look at all different brand (design) as this one gives me a lot of grief with the hydraulic hoses.
