I want it to be touched! I want them to clean up the hazard and the dangerous items so you can enjoy it. Is that not something you want? I'm a bit confused as to why anyone would want trash to remain at the bottom of a gorgeous loch or cove. Please let me know. Thanks.

It’s not that we want rubbish at the bottom as some of the items are potentially dangerous to divers . I believe they was plans for someone to make this quarry safe for swimming and paddle boards and divers by clearing the site but I believe it got refused by the council. Also this site is used by the locals for walks. There is now a gate which has now stopped joy riders and us divers . If developers get the go ahead the quarry will be filled in for good .

The main entrance is now getting a fence . allegedly to stop boy racers so no more cars . Next will be a fence around the quarry no doubt.

It needs to be filled in. And some nice tenement flats put up to help with housing shortages. Yous are close enough to the forth so can still get your diving hours in . To many youngsters have needlesly lost their lives here

Because they were doing things they shouldn't be doing, it's not the quarry's fault that some kids have no brain, that's like blaming a building because someone decides to jump out of the roof, just ridiculous 🤷‍♂️

Just for clarity, 2 in 42 years which was misadventure. Still very sad though. All safer in the pool as no currents or tide to contend with

not everyone is open water cert. and places like this do more for the wildlife than bricks and mortar. It also wont ever reach the needy as housing it will just become over priced snob houses with a view to line someone's pocket. If kids cant read the DO NOT swim signs or choose to ignore them its not the quarries fault just dumb upbringing on he children's parents behalf. Maybe we should take away the things that support your hobby and listen to you cry about injustice lol
