If it doesn't work one way try it another. Try re refering to manufacturers info The projecting tabs go on the inside. It will lock together solidly. Thanks for sharing
Great, Hope you are now happy with it. Thanks again for sharing, good of you to take the time, I cannot understand why Trangia have not done these in Hard Anodised aluminium, and the same for the Trangia 28 (Mini).
Your putting the pot stand together incorrectly. Put the tabs in from the outside of the other pieces and bend it around to make it come together. The first couple of times it will be a little tough until it conforms
Wanted to say the same. If correctly put together (from outside in) the stand forms an (almost) round pot stand. You can set up this stand also with 3 pieces only if you want to form a stand with a smaller diameter.
That thing is bulky and heavy. You should check out the video titled, Wire Pot Support for Alcohol Stoves. Just waiting on pipe cutters so I can make one.
Mike, it’s “Tran-Jee-a” and you’re putting your windscreen together wrong. Connect the tabs first (outside in) and move on to the next piece (connect from the outside in) and so forth till you’re done. Good video though, just practice….. SanJoséBob

I was gonna say the same.
Once put together correctly, the pieces won’t fall apart.
@@georgeleakos8376ok, I see what you guys mean. I put it together as you said. Now works great. Thanks. Always something to learn

If you’re referring to the lid with the movable top. Yes I do know that. But I’m only boiling the water in it. So I don’t really use it
