Im using a herman miller aeron, best buy I ever did, had it for 5 years now, still looks and feel the same as when I bought it. Bought it refurbished. Before that one I had a chair from a huge swedish company called Kinnarps, great stuff also regarding the ergonomics, very popular in office-buildings here in sweden, but they don't make them like they used to, quality is worse than before. But yeah, I agree, buy a good chair! Should be the first thing you upgrade in your computer-room.
Thanks for putting this chair onto my buyers radar! Getting something like an office chair makes a ton of sense since they're inherently designed for consistent usage over extended periods of time.
Couldn't agree more. After 15 years of junk chairs, my 33 yr old back hated me lol. I purchased a Steelcase Gesture, with headrest, and it's been a complete gamechanger. I'm 6ft 3 and 165lb for reference.
Not getting younger sucks. Impressively built and adjustable chair for the price. Beds and chairs are a lot more important than a lot of people give them credit for.
I bought a Haworth Fern last week and it's just legendary. My tailbone has been in pain for years on this stuff Serta chair I used to buy over and over like a moron. That pain has been gone since using it!
I bought this exact same chair a year ago, and I absolutely love it! The only negative I have is that the arm rests could be a bit more adjustable/comfortable, but the headrest and armrests on mine seem different to yours, oddly.
A good chair is a great investment. I have a Knoll RPM that I bought from a company that my fiends mom worked at because they were downsizing their office and had a bunch of equipment they didn't need anymore. Probably the best $75 I've ever spent on my setup.
🙂 i recommend u setup the workstation table high enough so that u can use it while u stand, and when you want to sit down roll up an office chair that is extra tall, then throughout your workday transition back and forth from standing to sitting to standing, rinse and repeat
Great suggestion and link to products like these. These aren't brutally expensive like the big 3 are. They're much more affordable for the average person/user.
I got Neuechair when I was looking for a good mesh chair. Got it even on discount then and love adjustments, like seat depth, headrest also. Definitely worth investing in a proper chair for sure. This one also looks great.
In that price range a proper ergonomic chair would be something like a Haworth Soji, Steelcase Series 2 etc. 12 year warranty, actual customer service, designed from the ground up / reputation to maintain- to each their own but yeah.
Thanks for the video. Stealcase Leap for wife and me, no problems for any part of my body, very comfy. Can not beat warranty 14 years even if you are not the original owner, they will come and replace parts on your chair.
Using the Aeron Remastered paired with the Atlas headrest has been outstanding, this chair doesn't cause me any lower back discomfort and can still feel fresh even after sitting for long periods while still looking new even after years of use. The Aeron is basically an end game chair although with all the price increases its hard to justify the price tag
You need to find a whole-saler. Got mine from one of them, paid 1000$ less than what they're going on the Herman Miller website. It has all the options except for leather armrests. It was also already assembled upon delivery.
It’s such a shame that all these ergo chairs are always too expensive, don’t get me wrong, this is obviously a very well made and designed chair. But nobody seems to have decided to copy them yet. Nearly every 24 hour chair is just too expensive for me. But you are right about spending money on a chair vs spending life with a bad back!
i use a 20 year old Walmart cheapo chair that has memory foam. It's still here because the gaming chairs i've tried were always uncomfortable and 1 even just fell apart. This cheapo chair has been sturdy and the most comfortable so i don't throw it out when i try something different. It's kind of ugly now being so old which is why i try other chairs but i think i'm juts going to keep it and throw something over it when i have company.
That's cheap for an ergo chair. I've sat in a Herman Miller Aeron for a while at a company I used to work for and it was great. Got a good chuckle at the British butler test.
I have an ergonomic office chair with mesh on the back. The seating part is a cushion. It's not the best chair, but it's very comfortable and I can sit for hours without any pain or discomfort. It's infinitely better than any gaming chair ever made. I made a mistake of buying a gaming chair once. Never again.
can you block the back to prevent it from reclining if you want? Like lock it in diferent angles (90-15-140º f.e.) or it reclines back each time you get back? It seems it only has 2 handles: one for the bottom depth and another to get it up and down, so I'm looking for the one tha locks the reclination (is a must for me) Thank you!(:
i sit in a chair that a buddy didnt like, slapped a cushion on it. mostly sit crisscross lmao, no the chair also doesnt go up or down...only hip problems lol
office chairs, 'executive' style, are way more comfortable than gaming chairs. They are often more expensive new, UNLESS you can find an auction/sell from a company that's changing equipment or closing down. This Hbada looks a bit too fancy for me not gonna lie! I'll stick to my used office chairs (which probably costed more retail when it was new and bought by a company)
I work at a desk majority of my days. I bought an ergonomic chair in 2021 with the mesh rather than cushion. It was a bit pricey, but the Mesh absorbs so much better than a cushion I do agree if someone is at the computer a lot, or any sitting position. Seriously consider the mesh.
I had one of these chairs, it did nothing to help my back. It fact it almost made things worse. I got a kneeling chair instead just on a whim desperate for something to help my back, and it actually worked. Kneeling chair let me go from bed ridden very often from back pain, to being able to actually sit at my computer and do stuff for hours on end again. No Ergo chair will do what a kneeling chair can for your back health.
Unles you need a good chair you make money on 8 or more hours per day, there is no need to buy these expensive chairs. People have back problems mostly because of not enough exercise. And rather buy a really good bed since that is where you spend the most time and will screw you most it it is poor quality.
Terrible back. And i got a really heavy Steelcasr office chair off FB Marketplace for $25 after an office closed down. I was really loving it at first, but then it just wasn't for my lower back anymore. and the seat was too hard. But i'm with you on office chairs. Gaming chairs are a JOKE. all looks, no comfort. my cousins have them, and they are so cheap feeling and uncomfortable. Nephew got one.. hated it.. got one free on FB after i told him to go there first. it's much better.
I will never buy one of thise racing style gaming chairs, they are not good at all. Not really a fan of the price of this one, I'd rather use tgar money towards a steelcase, i like tge gesture. However, I would get this one over a racing style gaming chair.
I watched this video thru and only have to say "Get rid of the arm chair!" any chair from dining room arm chairs to recliners all cause back, shoulder, neck, arm and leg pain!. Why, because your forcing your arms into an uncomfortable position that you "think" there sopposed to be in because some idiot decided to put arms on a chair. Your arms connect to your shoulders, neck, head and back. Suddenly we get head, neck, shoulder and back pain. Then after all that we get sciatic back pain into our hips and legs. And yea we could run to the doctor who rightaway gives you pain relievers. Or you go to a chiropractor they adjust you ant treat you with endless visits. This vicious circle has been going on for years. And you still believe tis always the chair. NO, it's those Damn armes. So the next time you think you found the perfect chair remember too "Loose the arms from arm chairs" This is 100% factual! P.S loved your video
I have one, I bought it because it's very cheap compared to an equivalent chair from others. Most people won't appreciate an ergo chair until they've had one for a while.
@@_Hell_cat_ So is chair expensive or graphic are expensive? Yes I know the number of how much do you produce but how much technology do you need to make GPU and how much technology do you need to make chair?
The markups on the highend get crazy but on the low end you pretty much get what you pay for. If you're happy with the $200 chair then good on you but don't knock people who want more support.

Aeron is still the gold standard. Best purchase I ever made too.

Costs $2300 here in AU... ouch. You Americans sure do get a massive financial break with these things, like MASSIVE!

Secretlab titan evo xl - I sit for work approximately 7-8 hours a day. 5’8 189-195 - great chair haven’t had any issues or degradation.

bought a used herman miller aeron for $400 a few years ago. does the job for my back
Great suggestion and link to products like these. These aren't brutally expensive like the big 3 are. They're much more affordable for the average person/user.
Yep, I'm extremely happy with my Steelcase Leap v2.

the Union & Scale™ FlexFit™ Hyken from staples pioneered the mesh/recliner design (no bacon holsters or leg prop) and is 150$ right now, 50% off
I got a name brand ergo chair at a thriftstore for $12, I got lucky but good ergo is v important 🤙I try to stretch and move around when i can

Ergohuman2 rlly good, in terms of comparble to aeron. V. good chair comfy, lots of adjustments. Simillar to HBADA

can you sit comfortably if you go close enough to the desk to touch it with your belly? usually the armrests get in the way.

Where did you find the max supported weight? Ive been lookin for it, I see the max recommended at 300

hmm what is the difference between this and the pro version? nice chair btw
Am i the only strange person that doesnt like chairs with arm support? I always leave them out of the assembly or remove them.
To each their own. I hate headrests, so I always leave those off
If by "real chair" you mean an Herman Miller Aeron, I already have one.

steelcass leap best chair but even better chair is threadmill under a table
after seeing the price, a plastic chair would do, id just stretch more xD

i dont like office chairs like this because i can see that bottom support isn't soft on the border and i like to squat
we have Aresline Xten in the house.. i dont know - its ok chair i guess...
My wife says you should try bangs

600$ lol
pushing a 600 chair lmao get that bs out of here.
$600 for an ergo chair is cheap. Get real lol
@_Hell_cat_ you simping for a chair. Lmao that's rich
@@haruoki2905 No, I'm informing you of market realities. Most ergo chairs go for $1,000-2,000. Grow up.
@_Hell_cat_ You're the one simping for a chair ;)
I have one, I bought it because it's very cheap compared to an equivalent chair from others. Most people won't appreciate an ergo chair until they've had one for a while.
Naa $600 for that chair is a no go! $200 would be the price range it fits even a bit more but isn't near the quality at the $600 range
Now you're being unrealistic,.. consider inflation as well.. I'd say 499$ and 399$ on sale would be realistic
Clearly you have not looked at ergonomic chairs. Most of them go for thousands of dollars, this is an insanely good deal.
