Perhaps I need to connect something else to the computer as I don't want to abandon the soft synths. I do want to abandon the Rodecaster Pro II however. What a piece of work that thing has been for me! First world problems. Update: Push 2 has been sold since I filmed this. I have other device that can fill in if needed. (LPP Apc40 MKII) No regrets.

I won't link my video from last year. Not worth your time. Valid argument to make is this one worth it! Yet the tech space marches on and if Apple wants to or will, yeah, I've got my popcorn ready. Here is the link to Tony and Chelsea's, because, well, their production is far superior to mine and I hear the kids like quality content: th-cam.com/video/qHNGaz3Ag2M/w-d-xo.html

One of the most desireable units on my wishlist. But the kids would say I have enough sequencers lol. Enjoyable jam, Wabbit. Deluge would be a great heart of a larger live jam.
@@rayderrich thanks. It’s on stage to step up to the plate in a leading role. One can never have enough sequencers.

excellent one box jam, Mr Wabbit! 👍 I look forward to more of these 🙂

Thank you, does it works with the Chord Mode ?
You are welcome. Not sure I follow. Are you asking if one or the other gear works with Chord mode from the other?
@@krazywabbit sorry, I mean can the polyend send a full chord instruction wich will be played by the external midi synth ?
Thankyou!
BEANs (Behringer, Epiphone, Arturia, Novation, and many more) give me GAS but I love em.
Just be a kid, don't try to be the GOAT.
Looks like fun and sounds like fun! Hope this works with the original Play, cuz that's what I have.
nice one Mr Wabbit 👍 this would be a great jam to go live with 🙂
@@synkrotron thanks Mr Andy. I did this about two weeks ago. Long before this course I’m taking. I have much to learn. That’s ok too 😀

No wallets were hurt during the making of this video. Keep going, Sir.
@@rayderrich thanks. After the video, that’s another conversation if a wallet was bruised. 😳🥴
@@krazywabbit Ha ha ha that's the way we jam, Sir, go for it.
Dang. Nobody else running this setup?! Thanks for the videos. I got the iPad Air with lightning (I wanted a headphone jack), but this is a great video series.
@@jjbing3 thanks for stopping by. The 6S has found a new home. These things happen 😂
@@krazywabbit Trust me I know. I keep buying and selling gear. My 6s is in the mail. I want to try it out. 🤷🏾♂️
This is wild!! I just submitted a question to the Office Hours Global channel about this. Office Hours is a daily live stream where video experts from the industry answer submitted questions--chief among them being Alex Lindsay--a died in the wool Apple guy from waaaaayyy back and all around techno geek/expert. As I'm experimenting with possibly live streaming or just posting synth jams(beginning to hate that phrase😄) I've been experimenting with an old iPhone XS Max, an old iPad Pro 9", Magewells and various apps that communicate with OBS. They work just fine and are pretty stable, but if Apple came out with a camera that was basically an iPhone without the phone and no cellular contract, I would snap one or two up in a heartbeat. You're onto something here!
@@taosophymusic it’s refreshing to hear someone else would be excited and also thinking about it. Come on Tim. Somebody! Looking forward to following your journey.
Clicked the vid just to see your one-level semi-circle setup that I noticed in your banner. I have my synths on a three tier stand and am only realizing now that that's an issue for a 57 year-old like myself. Standing for too long is a problem. So I'll be taking tips and clues from your setup when adjusting my to a single level setup.
@@taosophymusic I wish there was a one sized fits all. Just rearranged again 😂 I hope you find what works best for you.
@@krazywabbit 😁thanks. My back is screaming for me to one-level my setup.

Hello there. I hope you will shed some wisdom to my question…. Could i connect the S1 to the Digitakt so i can use the S1 in order to play the synth engine in the Digitakt (so use it as a midi keyboard for the digitakt) but at the same time have the Digitakt as the Master Clock that syncs everything to its tempo? Would it work sending Midi out from the S1 in order to play notes and send the Midi out of the Digitakt back into the S1 and use the S1 as a midi clock slave ?
@@saardean4481 hey, thanks for the question. I’ll will have to sit down and try this. As I read this, it’s Sunday morning and the coffee hasn’t fully circulated. If someone else sees this, perhaps they are of clearer mind and can impart the wisdom. I’ll work on it in the meantime.

Beam me up Mr Wabbit, one cow to transport, energise. And the musical animals gathered in the synth arc, and fucked off as far as possible from the humans.
As long as it’s not via space x, I’m down too.
Wabbits arc made by independent contractors not government subsidised corps. Think of the musical animals as a Stark Enterprises 🤣🤣. Iron Wabbit! 😁
Wow you are off to the races man! Liked the intro jam a lot! Look at you throwing LFOs on tracks and everything. I am proud of you.
Thanks! I’m beginning to like this LFO thing. It’s taken me three years 🤣
Scouting the area for an upcoming live show, are you? :) There is something wonderful about footage from the sky, as we humans can not fly there ourselves. Good stuff.
Lips sealed! Fun fact. I’m afraid of heights. I even don’t like looking up to see where the drone is. 🥴
@@krazywabbit I never knew this until me and my wife where on the top of the only mountain Curacao has, and it took me hours to stumble back down! No heights for me anymore.
One day I flew my drone up in our park next to our home. Turns out, above the treeline you can see all the way over the Frankfurt skyline. That gave me a whole new perspective on where I live 🙂
@@moolder Awesome, I would love to go buy one but they say in the Netherlands you are not allowed to fly that far anyways.
@@rayderrich I am in Germany and basically you cannot legally fly over houses, in any wildlife reserve, or anywhere else interesting. I guess when I flew I was just lucky so far. I haven’t flown in years because being out and about with my son was about as stressful as flying a drone for a long time. Now my son has his adhd medication he has calmed down. I tried starting the drone again but my cheap drone’s batteries have died and I haven’t found a replacement battery so far. And now I rather like to invest in synth stuff than a new drone 🙂

Great message Whoever beats you down for not doing something a certain way is clueless as to how things actually work. If a human says this is the way, that is always never the only way. It is just a way that some human, not unlike you, prefers. I realized this young and have always heard from others that I don’t like rules or authority, that I challenge/question things…it has served me well. Always do what you do
thank you for the wise words! I gotta do me. You gotta do you. We all gotta have fun. Stay safe out there.

I'm sure you've said this in another video, but what desk do you have?
@@eavolski from IKEA. I’d have to look up the brands. Alex drawers I think. Can’t recall the desk name. Very happy with. I’ve had it since 2020.
You can always sequence the softsynths via midi from any midi capable external device. there's a tiny app that even allows you to just run the VST's outside the DAW and just send MIDI directly. As always it's mostly just a question of what your goal is 😊
@@sandroidmusic true on the goals. I’m finally finding mine. Taken long enough 🤣
Perhaps a Zoom L-20 or other device from their Live Track series can help mix and record at the same time? They also have a rack version which would fit right near your patchbay.
+1 on the recommendation of the Livetrak series. Had an L-20 myself. And if it is too big, there's also the L-12 and i think an L-8. If you don't need so many channels but want some flexibility, don't underestimate the power of a patchbay (cheap and good investment).
good morning Mr Wabbit! 👋 this is great news and I look forward to catching you doing some live stuff, time zones permitting 🙂👍

I too have a few people I love to watch live perform, most of them in their own little hutch. The key I always hear when I ask is that they know their equipment and software very well. It is not about having the popular gear but more about having pieces of a puzzle fit well and under your control, which can only be done by doing it a lot. I am happy with your direction and wish you a lot a fun and adrenaline once the pieces start to fall in place.
@@rayderrich thank you Mr. Rich. I believe there are other alternatives for adrenaline than the checkout button 🤣
Wabbit does Wabbit, cow does cow. Rock you baby 🤘🤘.
@@TheSemtexCow we must do 😂🫡🤣
With the touch screen I would consider the iPad tactile. Basically, it can be a surface controller and instrument in one device. Some of us use software modular and live host setups to get the flexibility. It’s all about the controller and mapping. Using a wind controller involves your mouth, breathing/phrasing, and both hands. So it’s very engaging from a physical perspective. I think virtual modular has so many advantages, at least for what I do.
@@thebreathalyzer that’s the great thing. There’s something for all of us to have fun with. Thanks for sharing.
Working on a mobile studio type deal, basically just a mini pc, with multiple touchscreens, built in audio interface, then if i can figure it out i want it to have a modular system so you can pop in a midi controller, or midi mixer, whatever.
@@LoserDub all the best and have fun!
