That Spunk Shad 5.5 looks amazing in my opinion, as well as the Zoom Super Fluke and the Yamamoto Cowboy were my favs. Awesome video guys!!! The underwater footage is some of my favorite TB videos. It teaches us so much about the baits we throw. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Best on YT for sure!!! 👍🏻🤘🏻👌🏻👊🏻🎣🐟💯
I think I actually squealed like a little kid when I saw just the title. You have gotten me so addicted to chatterbaits. I have one tied on at all times. This is my video the one I dream of all the time. THANK YOU I cannot say it enough Thank you for all you do.
Great job Matt... really... You guys are top tier and your videos are just getting better and better. You're literally giving free guide trips every week 😎🤙
One of my new found favorites is the zoom fluke stick. Randomly decided to try it bc I had a few used ones laying in the boat bc I save them for ned rigs but a zoom fluke stick trimmed down and on a chatter bait has a great action and for when you want a smaller less bulky profile making the fluke stick more versatile of a bait
Love the underwater footage guys. I know it takes a lot of time to get those shots just right. I appreciate the work you put into it. Never thought about using the keitech upside down. I will have to give that a shot. Really liked how that gambler komodo looked on that jack hammer. I need to try that combo. 👍
Thank you for what you guys do, where else would you find such an informative video in the TH-cam fishing world. It would take you at least a year and lord knows how much money to gather this info they just stuffed into an easily digestible 25 minute video. Thank you again I will definitely be revisiting this video all year long
Man I love your guy's videos!! Such great role models of the sport dedicating so much time to teaching other anglers! Always great seeing the family out with you! I have a little boy and another on the way I appreciate you guys! Fishing is a passion of mine and you and Tim have been do inspiration of mine, thanks ! I looked forward to yours and Tim's videos!
I love every single one of the videos you guys post but for awhile now I swear every video that posts I wake up for work and peek with one eye hoping the notification is for the South America footage!! Haha love you guys thanks for always teaching and entertaining us.
I found the best chatterbait trailer by far : black minnow’s body. It kicks fast like the blade, send light flashes with its flat sides... it over performs swim senko, easyshinners by a magnitude of ten. Crazy. The blue back or blue back chartreuse is my all time favorite on whiteish chatters.
As a replacement for the zoom super fluke, you should try the Zman “jerk shad” or “streak”. It has a softer body which gives it more action, and 20x the durability. Tight lines 💪🏼
i really appreciate how in depth your how 2s are. i was getting frustrated when the summer bite went away and i couldn't confidently locate the fish. i watched some other video's and still wasn't quiet succeeding. but now that ive seen yours i know when ive had bigger fish on it wasnt just luck or the time of day and i can focus my energy in those spots confidently. i fish every morning just about before work in the afternoon so its frustrating when i get up at 5 am for one or 2 small fish. ty god bless!
Awesome video as always. I see the fluke trailer in my future. Might I suggest leaving the lure name on the screen the whole time during the underwater footage.
I love the Spunk Shad my fav. Definitely hard to get these days. The Jackall i-Shad is a good one, I just wish they made bigger sizes. The Z-Man Razor Shad and two that nobody talks about is the A3 Anglers Crazy Tail Shad and the Bellows Gill (crazy action). All great chatterbait trailers. I am a chatterbait addict and this video is right up my alley. Thanks guys!!
I used the Yotoworm from 1000 Fish during the winter /spring transition with decent success but haven't had as much success during the spring. Not sure if you guys have thrown it but I'm curious what u guys think bout it.
Thanks for the videos you put out bro!! I'm semi new to this and you answer all the questions I basically have!! I just don't have the means to aquire the best of the fishing gear thats out there, but thanks again for your time and the work to help us get better!!
The spunk shad is a great trailer, I prefer the 4.5” and I like to add a little red color. I do like the Zako too! It also looks good on a ball head jig. The under water videos are so cool! Thanks for all you and Tim do to make us better anglers 💯
I’m going to have to try a beaver some time. Looked really good with that little up and down motion. I have a few other baits from this video I’m going to try out soon too. Great video!!!!!
This is GREAT! I just posted a video to my local community asking what is their favorite trailer for a blade bait! Thanks for the graet info., and I'll be linking this video to mine!
Nice as always, We agree on the chatter baits and funny I was just trying to find a trailer for the fire craw color, My go to has been the swim Senko upside down. I'll be trying the fluke and craws this spring.
Hey Matt. A very informative video...thank you. What do you think of using standard grub baits with single, twin or quad tails on them?? If YES, then do I rig them like I would on a jig hook with the tail(s) opposite to the hook bend.
As a newer kayak angler on a budget with limited space what would be the best rod/reel combo to designate for chatterbaits and what secondary uses could that setup be used for? Thanks for sharing your knowledge is been a great help.
YES, YES and YESSSSSS. This was AWESOME. I just started fishing these baits this spring when a friend from Instagram sent me a box of them and I have been experimenting with trailers and actions so this video was right on time and I watched the whole thing. Excellent job my friend, THANK YOU!
You guys missed comparing several Z-Man Elaztech trailers in this comparison: DieZel MinnowZ (swimbait), Turbo CrawZ (craw-style), and the RaZor ShadZ (profile-style). Any reason why you guys left out all of these Z-Man Elaztech baits???
Super Fluke was my favorite trailer UNTIL you guys got me to try that Spunk Shad and now THAT is definitely my fav!!!!!!!Thanks for what you guys do it’s absolutely awesome to see your footage ❤️💯❤️🎣🎣🎣
I like the stealth blade with the 3.5” spunk shad, nice combination of subtle with the ability to still draw a reaction for all the pressured ponds near me.
mATT THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST FISHING CHANNEL ON THE NET.. YOU GUY ARE THE BEST I'M A 45 YEAR VET OF BASS FISHING AND I HAVE WON A BOAT IN TOURN. NOT SAYING THAT TO BRAG BUT TO LET YOU KNOW I HAVE CREDIBILITY WHEN I SAY YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST
Awesome video!!! But Definitely that super fluke was surprisingly good and I have it readily in my tackle. But definitely going to buy a bunch of spunk shad on my next order.
I'll just throw this out there as another for anyone to try. Missile baits D Bomb rigged sideways. It's side profile matches a pan fish perfectly. Insane action as well.
Awesome video great info love it all and thank you .... a video you watch multi times and keep coming back to for info 😂... and the wife showing off Jedi net skills and landing a chunk herself like no big deal 😂 do this all the time 👊😎👍
Love the underwater video on one of if not my favorite bait , the chatter bait. Question what Jack hammer color do you like to throw with red in it to mimic craw in the spring ? I tend to only fish the chatter bait in shad and blue Gil colors with the Zako trailer. Catches lots of fish here in Texas but I could be missing out by not presenting craw or different trailers. In this video I really liked the netbait paca but not sure what color jack hammer to throw it on. Thanks for the video and as always love being a part of the tactical bassin family. Come see us in Texas soon.
The Chatterbait has become my #1 bait. I just catch bigger fish. I have every color available and use the Strike King Rage Tail. I am Definitely trying the fluke trailer!!! Thanks guys. Would love to fish and learn from you guys!! Come visit me in Jacksonville!
Just got into the Spiralite rods and the 7 2" MH for chatterbaits. I've never seen yall discuss that rod and concept behind them. I immediately followed up with a 7 4" MH. Love love love them. Curious on ur thoughts.
Good video. I learned a thing or two, even though I'm not a tournament bass fisherman. If I was trying to win a contest, I'd do exactly as you suggest, but I have my own suggestions how to maximize your fish catching. 1) Fish as often as you possibly can to stay 'in practice'. 2) You don't have to have a boat, but it helps a lot. 3) Keep your tackle in well maintained condition regardless how high or low quality it is. 4) Keep your bait/lure in the water as much as possible. 5) Don't do tackle prep in the boat. Do as much rigging at home as you can. Don't make the fish wait for you to get it together.
Love the underwater videos! Curious if you had any insight on the CFL freedom chatterbait from Zman I would love to see you try/ask your input on the the: - 6th sense flush - yoto worm (larger profile than the spunk shad) - xzone adrenaline craw
I catch bumpin, jerkin, rippin the chatter with cowboy craw off the bottom with the original. I've caught them mostly in clear water river channels. I was surprised to hear you didn't bump them off the rock bottoms. I got the freedom cfl and crosseyez I'm going to try with this technique next. Thank you for the content. One of my favorite shows and appreciate your honesty/integrity for what baits work, why, videos exhibiting movement, etc.
I use the 6th sense prawn and/or the stroker craw on my chatterbaits. Sometimes I’ll rig the stroker craw so the legs are vertical, just to present a different profile. Been thinking about trying the new Flush too as a trailer.
I'd watch this all day...its my happy place! Plus, there's nothing good on TV anyway, and the news just pisses me off.
Agreed! TH-cam is my cable TV!
Yep!

Fake and lying news!🤦
Tactical bassin is hands down the best Chanel on TH-cam 👏👏
Thank you!!
By a country mile !
@@tacticalbassin your channel is gonna get hotter that a hookers doorknob on payday

Agreed
Sierra’s play by play calls are amazing!
Zona better watch out! Might have a new commentator for the elite series 😂
Your daughter giving you the mojo with the fish dance. Too cool!!
Ha! She's too funny!!
You and Tim are the best bass fishing educators ever and I'm 80 and look forward to MWF for your videos. Thank you for all that you guys do.
I never skip through your videos, the longer videos are the best ones, so much information !
I love these! I can watch the entire video of all 19 trailers....multiple times.
Great video Matt, I can't get enough chatterbait info. You and Tim are by far the best fisherman/teachers out there.
Great to see you and your family fishing together. Thanks for sharing

You guys always produce the best, most thorough fishing videos on net. Hope all is going well in Tennessee
Never hurts to just put a zoom finesse worm on there! Looks good in a pinch. Love y'all's videos, best in the business.
I've always thrown a super fluke on a chatterbait this is the first time I've seen somebody else try it! It kills!
Great stuff guys! Thanks for showing all the actions! I am headed to Chickamauga on Friday, would be great to meet you guys!!! Tight lines!
Another awesome video from you. As a kayak fisherman I'm limited on what I can take. This video helped me out pick out the right trailers, thank you.
Great job Matt... really...
You guys are top tier and your videos are just getting better and better.
You're literally giving free guide trips every week 😎🤙
This channel is crack rock for Bass fisherman!
Thanx for the upload Matt!
Love these underwater videos. Help us see the action of the trailer and how to use the lure. Keep it up!
With the chatterbait being my #1 go to lure for bigger bites this is an amazing video. Thank you!
We're happy to help 👍
I never would have thought to use a super fluke as a chatterbait trailer, I'd eat that if I were a bass
I use a shad color Chatterbait with a Smokin Shad Zoom fluke to imitate a crappie, and wear them out in my local river.
I've been using fluke as trailers for years. A little super glue helps with last longer
@@archangel19 Bingo! I bite the head off and use a dab of glue also. My pb in Mass is 7 4oz on that bait.
Great on a Spinnerbait too
Has anyone used the StreakZ From Zman. Seams like it could last for a very long time.
Fantastic and very helpful information, Matt! Also great to see your wife, and hear your adorable daughter fishing with 'daddy'
Love the underwater footage guys. I know it takes a lot of time to get those shots just right. I appreciate the work you put into it. Never thought about using the keitech upside down. I will have to give that a shot. Really liked how that gambler komodo looked on that jack hammer. I need to try that combo. 👍
I liked the idea of cutting the keitech tail for a little less action
Thanks! We're happy to do it because we know it helps. There were several trailers in here that shocked us too 😳
Now I know what kind of trailer I need to run on my chatter baits. Thanks for the information. Love the under water 🎥. 🎣
Amazing job, South Florida fishing guy here. Mainly from the bank. Thanks for the great content.
*adds having my wife being able to cast a bait caster confidently as a marriage goal* - love your channel guys!
For the life of me, I don't know why you guys don't have a million + followers. You guys are amazing.
The simple, classic, multi use, underrated swim jig ever.
ZOOM SALTY SUPER FLUKE
is my go to.
You gotta try a 10,000 fish yotoworm as a trailer, caught a couple largemouth and a huge saugeye fishing it this past weekend, great action!

Nice as always, We agree on the chatter baits and funny I was just trying to find a trailer for the fire craw color, My go to has been the swim Senko upside down. I'll be trying the fluke and craws this spring.
Great Video! Love the underwater footage! Thanks!
I use the Keitech Custom Leech . Hands down the best trailer I've used . It took the place of the Fluke for me . Especially in grass !!!
Hey Matt. A very informative video...thank you. What do you think of using standard grub baits with single, twin or quad tails on them?? If YES, then do I rig them like I would on a jig hook with the tail(s) opposite to the hook bend.
Love the channel. I look forward to Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays! I love the Yoto Worm as a trailer.
I love your net person and your little cheerleader Matt. Great video as usual
5” straight tail worms do it for me 👌🏻 the action is amazing!

Literally the best ones from Zman
Underwater testing video is great. Would like to see more of this.
AWESOME footage! One thing I've done is cut down used trick worm and split the tail and the action is pretty good
Super Fluke was my favorite trailer UNTIL you guys got me to try that Spunk Shad and now THAT is definitely my fav!!!!!!!Thanks for what you guys do it’s absolutely awesome to see your footage ❤️💯❤️🎣🎣🎣
Could you do this but with the bass's reaction to each type of combo? Great underwater videos, and I can't wait to see what you post next.

I have been using the Gambler Komodo it has really worked. I was surprised by the actions of the Fluke, looked great as well.
Spunk shad definitely I’d eat it lol thank you for all you guys do!!!
The quality of your video it’s amazing as well as the info.
Thanks for sharing ♥️🎣
Great information. Very revealing look into bait movement.
Awesome video!!! But Definitely that super fluke was surprisingly good and I have it readily in my tackle. But definitely going to buy a bunch of spunk shad on my next order.
Great video, I use a yamamoto heart tail, cut off about an inch off the front
thanks for the consistency with uploading great vids tactical bassin. !
My biggest chatter bait bass, a little over 5 lbs came on a jackhammer with the Yamamoto cowboy. Great video!

I normally use a super fluke because I have tons, but those spunk shads are absolutely killer
