My approach for my hair fall control. I mixed 4-5 drops of rosemary oil in my liiitlleextra coocoonino shampoo during application and I kept on doing this for a 3-4 months and I saw my hair fall reduced a lot.
Cocooonion shampoo is one of the best shampoos I’ve tried in my experience. It has an incredible smell, and I've never found such an amazing smell in any of the shampoos. On day 1, my hairfall was in the range of 10-13, but by day 10, it reduced to 0-1. Believe me, this is the best shampoo, and it’s worth every penny. # Definitely Recommend.
Facts! This was one of the many reasons I chose locs. Before that I could never get past 14inches of hair bc of all the split ends from styling, heat etc…..best decision I ever made was to loc up!
To grow hair without locs just ditch the comb and detangle with fingers. Unlike the comb which is straight and stiff the fingers are flexible thus gentle on hair. I ditched the comb in 2020, within two years, 10 inches hair growth.
if you got any 4 type of hair, leaving it in a afro it will be harder for it to grow no matter how moisturized it is🤷🏽♂️ its gonna keep breaking regardless
@@YpAR15 you need to research moisture routines, your hair should not be breaking like that, moisture doesn’t only mean water it means using product that seal in water too. splitting and breaking is different from sheddings
Exactly! My wife and I just combed out my two year old locs and my ends are spit. I retained most of my length though, but the shrinkage is real. My locs would hang longer mainly due to the weight.
You right I started a month ago. I was telling someone dead ends grow never breaking off help hair become longer through time. Before locs my hair had breakage alot stopping my high top from growing longer. So I decided locs was best way to go growing without breakage
I’ve never imagined myself having actual locks I wore faux locs but I was a weave/wig girl to the max now I am one year loc’d in best decision I have ever made ❤
I had my locs for just over 3 year's. They grew very quick, especially when i started get them done in style's. Its a little over a year since i decided to comb them out. Ive not been to the barbers since, as im growing all my hair out. 🇬🇧🇯🇲👍🏾
Hair still sheds with locs it just fall of as hair balls, there isn’t really dead hair hair in them the split ends still fall off it’s just the way u comb ur hair determines how much length u retain
It’s because your hair is more stretched out , pretty much these not much shrinkage compared to 2 stand twist. Also your hair is thicker with dreads because you don’t comb out your shed hair , if you do it will fall out in big clumps
No it’s because locs are compressed in a form giving it a lil weight . When u got a fro all the strands stand alone but with locs they’re together creating extra weight than da fro but locs are still light
If you have 4c that's completely unnecessary. Just twirl the ends and they immediately tangle/lock and won't come undone till you take down the twists with a detangling cream
u only really wet your hair when u wash it every 2 weeks or month, put black castor oil or coconut oil every 3-5 days and get retwists once a month or every three months or sum
less irreversible damage women start with dyes and perms as early as 12-14 years old unfortunately and continue well into their twenties guys don't care about their hair until they start to care lol so just starting with a healthy/stronger base I wouldn't let my daughter dye or perm her hair until she's sure its the length she wants which if you let your kids hair grow without cutting or chemicals from a baby then its at a ridiculous length by 14-15 years old assuming you never cut it
This vid inaccurate. The real reason your hair grow so fast with locks cuz gravity constantly weighing on the locs and lightly tugging at the root of your hair making it grow faster then even braids which pull at the root when they're fresh but but doesn't do so as much with new growth and It's a myth that split ends affect the root of your hair because hair is only alive at the route anyways
Idk why I hate the idea of getting locs so much? Idk what it is prolly has sm to do with my dad raising me to judge people with locs as criminals 😅. I think it's cause i want to be able to "do things" with my hair?
aye man locs definitely have a sterotype but as time goes along the stereotype gets weaker and weaker, so somebody in 2012 with locs had it much worse than someone in 2023 with locs
It doesnt grow faster. If your hair grows slower than average it will do the same when you have locs. Locs just like free hair will break and shed. You have to take care of your hair regardless or it will break or shed out before its time. Now, locs do retain the lot of hair that would have naturally shed due to the natural hair growth cycle but those hairs do not split or break off. They are in the exogen phase and are simply released from the head.
It's called hair retention.

I had braids and my twin brother has locs and bro, I was mesmerized by how quick his hair grew
Facts I hate when they try to compare to hair that isn’t loced
This but obviously hair shedding is less of a problem with locs. Once the hair is locked in, you can't tell how much hair has shed.
its not obvious to alot of people
Better yet that's not a problem at all with locs. I'm 3 years loc'd
Yea this is true. Crazy thing is I combed out my locs and the length is still long.

nah as long as you keep the hair moisturized everyday you will see very little breakage/ split ends the only sacrifices in this matter is length

I've had just about every hairstyle. Locs has been the easiest one for me. The long loose hair shed a lot and be more maintenance.
