My awkward stage was rocked with an assortment of hats. Beanies, fadoras, fitted and snap backs.

today marks 4 months of growing my hair out, I've been strict with my hair care routine and you really put me on to good practices, I cant wait to drop my 1 year hair journey 😁
How long is your hair
@@ramos5117 just over 4cm, seems my hair grows quite slowly
@@ramos5117 probably nun more than 8cm
You can’t skip the process It’s inevitable just enjoy the process
right the only way is to wait and be patient

On dat as we speak

I been growing my hair for a month and it's a bit over an inch, gotta get through this awkward phase 💯
It doesn't last long bro mine was from month 3 to 6.
@@Jay_Walker92 the last time I grew my hair out, that stage lasted from months 1-4 😭 but I think it'll be shorter this time around
If you don't got waves bro, just stay locked in with your barber and deep condition every week so it'll grow faster
@@KingBrilhow do I deal with my hair not growing in a specific place cuz of over sponging
@@KingBril should i get a trim or js leave it and how often should i get a haircut if u say yes
I've watched you in the beginning of my growth. I've been growing since July of last year and it's growing at a fast pace. One pointer I got from you is deep conditioning after I take down my braids and wash. Mane n tail is an excellent shampoo and conditioner..... Thank you for helping my hair growth.

Bril, you truly are the king.
thank you brother
No problem
This man is phenomenal, thank you bruh!!!
All of a sudden im finding thise guys from tiktok on my recommend 😭😭
didn't know I needed this video till now I'm past one year and i look pretty scruffy right now, Thank you for the video!!
I recently cut my hair for a shortcut biggest regret of 2024 but we keep going i hope a small afro by october/November
You and me both
I’m 2.5 years into my hair journey usually my hair is in an afro/braids.
14 months into growing out my 4a hair bout to loc up this week!
I think my hair grows slower than your projected timeline. I’m not able to get braids until I’ve at least grown it out for over a year. 3-4 years ago my hair grew much faster
Trimmed my hair after going it for 18 months, and it was a journey but now I’m growing out the sides and back from having a taper, so hopefully things work out
Been growing my hair for 12 years I miss my hair when it was your length the journey I appreciate im past my waistline now miss the no respect to the neck like Yours 😂😢 embrace it 💪🏿
I got mixed hair black white and indian hair i’m 1/half months in from a 2 gaurd open and my hair already down to the middle of my forehead if i pull it, i had waves for the first 3 weeks and i js got tierd of them and my hair grew hella fast so i decided just to pick the waves out and js stick with my curls i’m on to it with my hair care i recommend doing these few things and it will help your hair grow a lot healthier and faster , oil 6 times a week 3 days of the week strawberry rosemary oil 3 days coconut oil, the amount of days you put oil in strictly depends on your hair type for me i’m cb - 4a when my hair gets long, have a conditioner that’s for YOUR age if your a teen or kid you shouldn’t be using conditioners for adults. and should be using conditioners for YOUR hair type i also apply rose water in my hair after my showers cause it helps your hair grow faster and more healthy and also as most of u know peoples hair grows differently from everyone else, some fast some slow so don’t be discouraged if your hair not growing as fast as someone else’s
I messed up and got the hard taper into the fro curls. I'm duraging until my fade grows back, and I'm getting a taper with waves on the back and side.
I'm truly in the awkward hair growing stage
i got you bro
How can you moisturize your hair for optimal growth in the summer heat?
Good thing about me is that my hair grows super fast(I would say perhaps I’m at about 2 months length or so?), so by the end of July I should be all set tbh
How many inches is your hair and did you start with a lot of hair or just start from buzz cut
Im at that stage right now, it seems like my hair get stuck at short afro but it grows back to the same length after I trim it down, using the same routine that allowed my hair to grow back to that same length
to be honest you were pretty thorough. you described my entire 14 year old hair journey in 7ish minutes
Currently on month 3 and I’m walking around with a bandana 🤣🤣🤣 I’m out here looking crazy but I been deep conditioning for the last 2 weeks and using my castor oil going for stitch braids in a year thanks king bril.
Keep at it bro
King Bril I wash my hair every weekend and now I’m starting to wonder if I should or not.
Good vid my g no lie
I came out the army and recently got loc extensions
I... Love you... this video made so much since and had so much truth... but I watched it too late lmfao... Now Im gon be walking round with braids in my curly hair phase... with my big ass forehead, braids stopping at the neck... sooo yup...
yo king bril do you recommend relaxing your hair?
best hair youtuber
What if you have growing out your sides and back taper, and you’re trying to the length all round? What would I tell my barber? since I’m trying to keep my length all around.
bril i would like to ask what makes hair uneven
well one side of my hair is puffer than the other side, so how do I stop that from happening?
Best shampoo and conditioners ?
I'm currently near like the 2-3 month range, my afro hair is very short probably around 1 inch. If i want to grow my hair to a larger afro but want it to have some style to it. Are mid tapers safe for hair growth in the long run?
Your dreads lookin crispy man🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you my guy
bril my hair gets super dry after leaving in the curling cream when i do my curl routine, what do i do to solve this
Brill I got a pimple on my scalp I been growing my hair for a year and 3 months should I be worried ?
I hve had my locs for two in half years and I cut all of my hair off Im ready to have free hair again but grown out
Question: I let my hair texture set the style. However with gradual growth, it is frequently tangled (at least every 2-3 days it badly tangled). I usually wet it with watered down moisturizer/softener, shake and go. How often should I untangle my hair?
How long should your hair go down before getting 2 strand twist
I'm at month 10 going to 11, and I'm still rocking a afro (definitely not small btw because of shrinkage it looks small)
Is a small back taper fine or mid
What if you thin up top how do you thicken it out
I’m at 4 years this giving me ptsd😂yall hang in there tho
4:09 Can someone please explain to me what neck braids are and why the big forehead and neck braids combo doesn't work?
got front taper when i had my hair long now cut lowkey down 80% still some hair left thou. am i cooked with the fornt taper
@King Bril Ijust cut my hair and I need a daily routine and a wash day routine I just need something to kinda need sum to stick too think u can help
I'm currently on 3 months, my hair is pretty medium and my hair strand can be stretched down to my eyebrow. Is this good progression?
00:01 Understanding the hairstyle timeline is crucial.
00:50 Having waves is crucial for clean hair growth
01:43 Avoid the awkward hair growth stage
02:41 Implement the famous Cur routine for healthy hair growth and defined curls.
03:33 7 to 10 month stage is exciting for hairstyling
04:22 Avoid awkward hair growth stage by styling early
05:21 Avoid awkward hair growth stages
06:11 Transition from faded side taper to hardline taper for better hair growth
Been growing my hair for 2 years and it’s only at eyebrows length. The back also grows ways shorter than the front. I moisturize daily and I wash once a week when my hair isn’t in protective styles. I make sure not to lay on it and wear a bonnet but it’s still really short. (2 years in July)
Ain’t no way. Even if you did nothing to it your hair should be longer than that.
Is this after blow drying it? Mine is 2 inches after blow drying and that's after a life time of torturing my hair and 4 months of growth
Does the curling cream work for 4c
Please anyone know to control or cure pre mature Grey hair at Young age like 23... Please help
Yo I got a question what other ways can you skip the fitness stage?
What’s the link to the drive slow song
Soon as I hit four months I do twist outs to avoid the ugly stage
How long do your twists normally last at that point
I never had ugly stage or notice It bcz I always wear hat

4:00 Yeah my homie at school says I have a messed up hairline and he's right so maybe cornrows wouldn't look good on me.
It’s been a year so far and my hair looks like 4-6 months 😭
king quick question, I have had waves for like 3 months, do you think I should continue waving or allow my hair to grow?
Over wolf that thang
can i get i low back taper in the Eddie Murphy stage
Drive slow homey, you never know homey, give it 3-6 months your hair will grow homey. ✊🏾
I think afro picks both plastic and metal are bad for the hair. when I started strictly using wide tooth combs my hair grew slightly more and was noticeably less nappy
the wide tooth comb is cool but it wont detangle your hair as well as the thinner ones. More important than the tooth size is your hair dampness, not dry hair should get picked/combed
@@KingBril there's thinner wide tooth combs?
So only a taper on the sides and just line up back and front regular?
Yessir
its been 8months and I'm still curling😂
Im 3 months in my hair growth but my hair looks like month 2

@@KingBril yo bri im at 5 months and last year i had a full set of hair i restarted due to a big front taper im currently at corn rows and already made the front taper line and sides i haven't cut them i just lined them up and left them so when i due eventually cut them they line up better is this necessarily bad? my heir grows really fast
YOU SWALLOWED THAT BRUH!?
fast is slow
Drive Slow Homie
Drive slow homie

Drive slow patience is key
This is a lie. Initially, you need to cut your hair all the way off. If you start off with waves when you decide to actually let your hair stick up, that's why people have that 1 inch front taper. No temp fade, either. Get a 1 cut all over and just let the shit grow.
White people watching this must really
Be Fascinating with this 🤣💀😂🤣
No such thing as a awkward stage 🤷🏾♂️
