i purchased 256gb variant but it doesn't match the speed like yours why?? I'm using poco f1 btw it goes upto 36mbps then down like hell & its original too cuz i match the serial number on transcent official site..
the poco f1's usb port is usb 2.0 it cant go the speeds advertised on the drive, you need a compatible port like on a good laptop that has at least usb usb 3.1 gen 2 or a compatible phone like a galaxy s24 ultra
it CANNOT be compared to Full-Form eSSDs in terms of Performance. what u see here is very close to its max benchmarking performance. what i have is 400mbps stable reading speed with 280 for peak-writing - WIN11, NTFS. and u wont see much difference if u just change its file system. also, 280mbps is its usual peak performance which leads to device overheating at 60 degrees Celsius in a couple minutes, 30mbps while cooling and an avg working speed at 60mbps. look for someone to run a real test with copying large volumes at once. this one is a dummy. at the same time, it doesnt mean that device is poor. no, it's actually pretty good in any other aspect... apart from performance xD
Nice review bro , i want to buy ssd for backing up iphone 15 photos and videos but in doubt with this Transcend 310C and other ssd like sandisk or even planning on buying internal ssd with enclosure please suggest me which is good i think this one is good for usability but i cant find anywhere the speed comparison between this and other ssds…pls help
NO keychain connection ?? I need a really fast, safe one for cyber secturiryx studies with Kali Linux... but want to connect to my keychain.. which one should I look into would you say? what would you sugest me? thanks! :)
comparing it to Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD, which would you prefer in terms of portability and reliability? especially if will be used to transfer from iphone.
@@ClumzyaziD yeah I just got it and experienced it right now but not that drastic. I transferred 200gb worth of files in one go and it went from around 500gb to around 200-300gb.

If u r planning on transferring big files (more than 20GB) then skip this one. Throttle down like crazy USB 2.0 speed .. even slower than WD HDD.. it couldn’t even maintain a good 60MB/s like my WD
I have an 11th generation PC with a fast 3.2 USB and Type-C port. However, when I tested the speed by copying and pasting a single large 5GB file, the SSD's write speed did not exceed 200 Mbps and the read speed was only 300 Mbps. I do not recommend this device. It's a waste of money.
Hmmm not sure why didn’t u get the maximum throughput for that small 5GB file. Supposedly this thing can easily hit the max write speed of 1000MB/sec when it’s still cold n dark. Only when it gets hot like an exhaust pipe then it goes terribly slow like pendrive from the year 2008
Sick! So fast, so small! Super cool
How about the working temperature? will it cool down when is no writing and reading task?
It gets hot like hell. It stays hot unless u unplug that shit from the port
Thank u, that's always happened@@ClumzyaziD
Extended cable is necessary
Does it still work?
I'm thinking of buying a Transcend ESD320A which looks like it might not heat up as fast.
should i buy this for my 15 pro max? for record ProRes LOG video..feel so messy if i use wire and bulky ssd
True, wondering if this is compatible with iphone 15 pro max as backup storage
I ady try, the result is PERFECT..:)@@jmrt_21
Asking the same question
Nice! Thanks for posting this. Been looking into which one to get and I think I've decided! ☮
Glad I could help!
Do you think this is practical for long term use? will be using it as secondary drive for my mac m2
Hi, can it direct connect to iPhone to move video and photos out 🤔 . My iPhone is full.
Hmm, never tried this before. Plus I’ve never owned a Lightning-to-USB adapter
Damn apple came in clutch for you this year😂
@@ClumzyaziDaint no need for that anymore😂

ExFAT
Yeah ExFat works across mac and windows.

Yes definitely. At the same level of performance, i would go with this form factor over the dangling wired USB-C.

Hey! Can you use this on iphone 15 pro? TIA 😀
Can I use it to run Linux on my mac
sam question but i want to place my windows 11 virtual machine on this drive since it is taking too much space on my mac
Cool speed but does it drop speed after sometime soon?
To reduce heat, would using an extended cable be effective?
No because the heat is being generated inside the drive. Blowing the right kind of fan onto it may help though.

Maybe try SanDisk Extreme Pro
Whats app to read that speed?
iStat Menus app
well .. usb 3.2 is 20000 Mbit/sec there's still room for improvement)
Is it real ssd? can it handle os w/o fast degrading?
is it good for live_usb?
Not sure what you meant by that

Yes they do
Can this be use for rog ally?
Im using this with my legion go, all the games work like the internal storage ones

Same doubt I have too... do you get the answer for your question
One is much bulkier so it’s hardly the best comparison.

hi! which app are you using to check copying speed? thanks
iStats Menu
The Mac needs a better way to test file transfer had like windows chart style.

It’s MB, but he says it can heavily throttle but then we should have shown that aspect on video.
