Many users ask me how to do this, so follow these easy steps:
(if you have the steam version, I added extra steps)
1. Download the Pure Time Trial maps, FINALLY I GOT THE LINK!
- Link: mega.nz/#!X8AgCTBJ
- Decryption password: pastebin.com/8mwEi9Fm (Take the password between NOPE NOPE)
- Click "Download through your browser" to download directly
2. Open the .7z file and locate the contents in \TDDLC\DLC1\
Here you'll find: Audio, Config, Localization, Maps, Packages. Copy those 5 folders
in Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Published\CookedPC\ (overwrite all)
Now to locate the maps, just move in the Maps folder (dlc02-10).
3. For the freeroam mode go to a dlc0# folder (# stays for a number of your choice)
for example dlc03 and copy the file named TT_DLC03_p.me1 and paste it in
Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Published\CookedPC\Maps\SP00
(create all the folders if not there) then rename it in Tutorial_p.me1
4. Run the game, go to chapters and choose the tutorial.
[Steam user, you have not finished yet, skip step 4. Scroll down!]
To remove the selected DLC: just delete Tutorial_p.me1 you created before.
Another tip: If you want to DIE when you fall down rename the dlc map Edge_p.me1 and move it to SP01, then select chapter 1.
----- STEAM VERSION -----
Make sure you did all I wrote in step 1, 2, 3 you also have to extract the same files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\mirrors edge\TdGame\Published\CookedPC\
then move (in this path) to Maps\SP00 , paste TT_DLC03_p.me1
MAKE A BACKUP OF Tutorial_p.me1 and then rename the DLC
map you just copied, in Tutorial_p.me1. Do step 4.

Also, the legit copy of the game has a repair option in the installer, consider that if you mess something up.

no relation with the video but I find that music terrible. And I'm often a bit pissed off at these guys who make remix of famous songs but actually don't care of the song they're remixing and do something completely different that is barely related to the original.
So I feel they just choose popular songs and add big bass to gain popularity.

***** Desmond's not really that bad at Parkour. He's just outshone by his ancestors whom we played 90% of the games. He doesn't really get the chance to show his full potential. Mirror's Edge is the closest we could get to a modern day Assassin's Creed game. I actually kind of like this idea. :) A change of pace from the past settings into modern city ruled by Templar dictators in a dystopian society. ;)
This is not free roam as there is only one way to go.

mirrors edge catalyst is not a bad game.... people thought it was gonna be way different, and because it wasnt people hated it
Catalyst is a great game. I completed it before even owning the first game.
Noah Freedom no catalyst is a shit the movment the sound , the story/mission is a shit the gameplay is boring the combat, usinng the gun was so much better
Catalyst in my opinion feels smoother and much more fluid
But the biggest gripe is just that it feels linear or there is just a lack of pathways to take in order to go from building to building in freeroam
This is a game of unique beauty, so very happy they are making a sequel

+First+AidGaming Did you make a backup of Tutorial_p.me1 as I said in the steam part? Try to restore that file and then reboot the game.
If it's all right you probably missed something in step 3.
+First+AidGaming /facepalm Make a copy of the file/files and put it somewhere else, that is your 'back-up' copy in-case something goes wrong.

Every link I've tried has been taken down due to copyright. so just Follow Tommy Maher's advice. Play a time trial level without passing the first checkpoint.

I like that idea. Something along the lines of the Runner team has to pick up the Runner Bags and get them to the drop off point...And the Pursuit Cop team has to recover the Runner Bags by taking out the Runners, by hand-to-hand combat or stun gun only. Points being earned for each team depending on how many bags were delivered or recovered, and then swapping sides each round. I'd enjoy that!

Currently revisiting this game as I’m typing this comment! I completely forgot to buy this dlc back in 2013 so now I think it’s the perfect time to get it. Good times and such a throwback playing it now! :D

I love how people were so happy that "Black Ops 3" had free running, but that is nothing compared to the lovely Faith we all know and love. I will admit though, the map design does look like it could work in "Black Ops 3", if you take away all of the bar swings and vertical wall runs. I'm not implying that "Black Ops 3" is a bad game, I mean its not my faorite, but I still love it. I ould prefer "Mirror's Edge" over "Black Ops 3" any day though. I honestly don't know why I made this comment, I got bored.

Uhh, the steps in putting them on seem to be a bit off.
Step 2 I can only go so far as 'Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\'
There's no Published folder afterwards.
And I am using the Steam version, but since it says to do Steps 1 to 3 beforehand, I'm pretty lost.

There's actually quite a difference between insulting someones intelligence for them not knowing some random tidbit of information and correcting others for their mistakes by offering explanations and/or arguments. luke... mirrors edge 2 won't come out! they have no story line, maps, or either the public interest, they would'nt pay and publish a game which costs thousands which no one would buy, it would be an econonomic disesater for the game industries as they would lose loads of profit. e.g. game may be 'deemed' closed again.
It would work so that each team has 2 guns, a light gun (pistol, machine pistol, taser(from the runner cops)) and a heavy gun (Sniper, Assault Rifle, HMG, Shotgun, SMG, ect, ect.) you would be able to free run only while a light weapon is equipped (sorry for repeat commenting)

So... freerunning is a hobby, and parkour is treating that hobby as a sport... that means it's basically the same difference as the one between skateboarding for fun and skateboarding as a sport... which means it's the same thing.

No. Parkour isn't flips, twists and "stuff like that". Parkour is to get to point a to b in the fastest time. Freerunning is all the other crap.
