When the pandemic happened and I saw how people adapted their business models, I thought back to how I pivoted my previous TESAGE purse business to TeSage Dream Solutions.
During the great recession of 2007-2009, the handbag market shrunk, many purse businesses were closed permanently. Too many handbag brands saturated the market. While the TESAGE business mission was to deliver lightweight and sustainable purses to the world, there was so much other product saturating the market that we did not stand out as unique.
After the coronavirus spread globally, there were many small business owners struggling to survive and keep their business profitable.
If I was not asked by my staff and customers how to move their own businesses online, I would not know the extent of the demand for the work that now is my mission.
