Southern Upland Way - (7) Beattock to Over Phawhope bothy

In this two part video I continue my journey along the Southern Upland Way, accompanied by Mr. Globetrotter. In the first part, we set off on a 10 mile walk from Beattock to Over Phawhope bothy only to find the bothy occupied by some people who rolled in by car.
In the next part we continue to St. Mary's loch.

The Southern Upland Way is a 212-mile coast-to-coast walk in Scotland between Portpatrick in the west, and Cockburnspath in the east. The route officially opened in 1984.

Just up the road from me,i`m in Dumfries.It`s a great hike in to Phawhope bothy & lots of wild camping areas along the trail.I always have a laugh when I see Jays head in the phone & you guys carrying the plastic bags lol. Looking forward to part two.
