THANK YOU!!! I was at this show in the front row. Randomly finding this video as a Time Machine back to that moment brought me immense joy. Lush was my favorite band and Split was my favorite album at the time. Lush / Split is still up there for me. Ethereal will always be one of my favorite songs. I waited after this show and met the band - which was one of the most important moments of my teenage years. Separately, I’m Japanese and studied in England for a few years. Hearing Out of Control years later made me fall back in love with Lush. I got to see one of Lush’s first reunion shows at the London Roundhouse in 2016 and randomly again at Coachella 2016). I have a half Japanese / half Spanish daughter now so I hope to get her into Lush when she’s a bit older. It would be dream come true to have a pint with Miki and share life stories around Wembley the next time I’m in LDN 😊
So cool... I was at this show and can even catch a glimpse of myself in the crowd. Crazy. They sounded so good, great year for music. Weezer opened for them. Went to a lot of shows in the 90s, this was one of my favorites. Thanks for posting!
good recording !! sound quality is good. show seemed awesome, the band sounds great. it's cool seeing a split tour. 0:45 blackout 4:01 starlust 8:44 lit up 13:30 for love 17:11 the childcatcher (kinda interesting, childchaser didn't come out until lovelife and sounds different than most of that album) 20:33 kiss chase 24:07 light from a dead star 26:59 lovelife 31:15 downer 34:39 de-luxe 38:42 hypocrite 41:45 baby talk encore: 45:07 desire lines 52:43 sweetness and light encore 2: 1:00:47 leaves me cold
