My previous statement is an owner's perspective. They may be independent and reserved animals but they also can be very loving if you give them the time to get to know you and be used to having you around.

Maxwell was a very gentle and loving cat. My best guess is that a second or two longer eye contact than usual is more a sign of aggression than anything else

That kinda stuff might happen if the cat thinks it's the boss of the house and that amount of eye contact is a sign of dominance. Cats are still wild animals after all and are not 100% tame regardless of the bond we have with them. Prolonged eye contact even makes my Garfield a bit nervous but he knows I love him and knows his place.

Zepphyris is about 80% back to full power, but will take time for his neck and back to heal - it's a nasty infection, but it's dry now and started to heal. I'd never heard of Staphylococcus (hot spot) infection in dogs before - but people should know they can lose their puppers if left untreated! It's horrible... Like a mass of boils that doubles in size in just one day! He'll be on antibiotics and cortisone cream for another week, but he's eating and playing again - oh what a relief! I missed out on my surgery because there were 2 last minute emergencies instead - so I was sent home. (I should have gone in Monday, but I refused to leave Zepphyris). Now the surgeon is sick himself, so I will have to wait for a few more weeks.. Such is life! It would have been better to have it out and be done with it, but a few more weeks won't matter. I just couldn't leave Zepphyris like that. Anyway - I will see you all tonight! And I hope you are feeling better yourself 🙏🙏🙏XXX

I think u can also cancel his anger by sitting there and not moving away untill he gets bored of being angry. But if u move away when he is angry he wins. So just stay there untill he stops and only then move away. If u do that for a week I almost gurentee he will stop getting angry when u feed him. Giving him the cream after he is angry is just rewarding his anger, and also when u move away when he is angry is rewarding him. U are accidentally training him to be angry. I made the same mistake along time ago and had to learn the hard way. Just trying to help u from my experience because I like u, u have a good heart.

Whew! That was SCARY with Deigo growling and jumping at the fence when Michael was holding up the whip cream container. That was taking a chance of Michael getting nipped by Deigo's teeth trying to feed him cream when he was angry. I hope that's the last experiment like that. Too dangerous! The thunderstorm and rain added dramatic effects to the video. Hearing the raindrops was enjoyable.

A tiger will do what they want to do regardless as seen in zoos when owners think they have a special connection. You wouldn't spray a fire extinguisher at a dog but that's what this guy has for the tigers if they get angsty, that's how much force is needed. I just think it's bad because giving him cream has always been a treat and Diego was always very calm even purring. Now it may result in him growling, which has escalated to him charging Michael, whereas before he on the growled. This is my opinion and I'm allowed to give my opinion. It may not even matter because he may not react the same the next time Michael gives him cream we don't know, I just think it was risky.

No, this experiment does not always yield success. Michael has actually tried this earlier in a video titled _"Don't watch this video if You want to see a calmed down tiger"._ Diego did not calm down. Even in this video, he was only slightly more amenable.

Or, maybe in a Tiger's case, good behavior?? Tigers growl with their food nearby because they're protecting it. So maybe it's good behavior rewarded.
It's too bad you see it as a bad experiment. I guess you didn't see what his purpose of doing the experiment with his animals. When Michael ever do experiment with the tigers, people would say negative things about it. It's different if he do experiment on like a cat they are ok with it. I don't get their reaction.
@@kissesforeveryone1242 This is not a house cat, it is able to do much more damage than a house cat. I just think it's bad because giving him cream has always been a treat and Diego was always very calm even purring. Now it may result in him growling, which has escalated to him charging Michael, whereas before he on the growled. This is my opinion and I'm allowed to give my opinion. It may not even matter because he may not react the same the next time Michael gives him cream we don't know, I just think it was risky.

This not the first experiment he have done with the boys. He did experiment where the boys eat all kinds of meats, fishes, and dessert. He even say he will not do this experiment again (hopefully not). The best thing we can do is agree to disagree on this.
