this really IS superior to the fold. it looks better, is a better iteration and looks better than the fold. the fold simply looks like a contraption. i would buy this over the galaxy fold before you're even halfway done asking me which one i'd buy

With a really good car mount this will be awesome. Navigation on one, Spotify on the other etc. it would out perform most car infotainment systems, I mean you can angle the screen, you have the best wireless and wired auido and codecs, two oled screens, sd card, car cameras front and rear for car vlogging, headphone jack for aux in, or usbc out, wireless charging.

Nice! I have the ZTE Axon M that I keep at home but I love that this phone folds both displays inside to protect them. Gamepad looks great as well. Stylus would have been nice to include on this.

Hey man, I'm having a edge question that probably not a lot of people care about, but as a musician it matters a lot to me: how is the microphone / recorder app? I'm asking because back in the days I had the LG V30. The recorder app was absolutely incredible for a phone. You could record in high quality WAV format, you could put a limiter, a wind cut filter, set the incoming source volume, and monitor all that directly from your headphones. You could also record on top of some existing recordings or songs. I would be EXTREMELY grateful if you could answer this question. (unfortunately not a lot of people are buying or reviewing the G8X, so it's hard information to find). Thanks in advance!
You can also customise the way your controller set up looks like. You can place analogue sticks, directional pad, trigger buttons etc, wherever you want. LG have just made a mockery of Samsung & Huawei with their insanely overpriced and not-needed foldable phones. This could well be the future. This is a brilliant device. Yes, you can. Obviously it will be broken down the middle, but it will all be positioned accurately. You can also turn the phone sideways and use the bottom screen as a full sized keyboard.
My only gripes with this are the removal of the telephoto lens and the fully shiny glass finish of the front of the case which makes the third 2.1" screen quite difficult to read in bright light.

For the icing on the cake LG should have put an ear piece on the side with the 2.1” screen to answer calls with. By doing this there’s no need to open the case and answer the call on the phone. This would certainly make it a true dual screen phone without the need to remove the phone from the case. As a side note does the LG g8x have an always on display?

Hello I really enjoyed your video and I have a quick question I have the LG V50 that I just recently got from Verizon Wireless and I was so sad to learn that the dual-screen was only available in Europe but watching your video I see now there's another dual screen for the LG G8 X that uses the C-USB port to connect instead of the three pins on the bottom back so if I am not mistaking both phones are about the same size so is it possible for me to connect my LG V50 to the dual screen on the LG G8X using the C-USB port because both phones are the same size and same brand and both phones use dual screens so is it possible to switch the deuce screams so that I may be able to use a dual screen on my LG V50 from Verizon Wireless here in the United States so if you or anyone else can please help me with this question I would really appreciate it very much and thank you so much again sincerely Blair Fox Love!*
Not really. The point of the folding phone is to have a portable tablet-like screen size. This is two screens not one, so it's not like a folding phone. So, it's not about which is smarter but which one you prefer.

There is an ear piece cut out on second screen as well so you don't have to remove the case for calls. Just close the second screen and answer.
