As respectfully as possible, Sefris has so much more potential than this build - it's almost a diservice to anyone interested in this commander. Im sorry to say that because you put in the time and effort making this video. Sure anyone can build however they want. Ramping with Rocks and Smothering Tithe into Big esper beats can get you to victory but consider Sefris' unique strengths -Instead of Thirsts for X - if you really want to use instants to venture - Saurons ransom, Rowans grim search, hostile negotiations, lethal scheme, pile on, fact or fiction -Venture trigger all stars: Teferi Master of time, Tortured Existence, Doom Whisperer, ghostly pilferer, radiant solar, altar of dementia -even better than relying on instants is venturing using creatures, increasing the reliability of triggering Sefris. Right now at 27 creatures thats only 1 in 4. You can do aristocrats, selfmill, looters, etb ventures, clones, or a mix of those. I run 46 creatures -ive found that the conventional mana rocks leads to dead draws in mid game. If youre reliably venturing with low cost creatures then Phandelver is making you a treasure every turn cycle and letting you cheat out a fatty asap. Not that we dont want any ramp, just that using creature sources cranks up the synergy and consistency my picks- ornithopter of paradise, deep gnome terramancer, multiple myr dorks -Instead of excessive ramp, consider a super efficient Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, incarnation technique etc. -how about Living Death or breech the multiverse for a wincon? This is why my build can win with only 5 mana, 7 if protection is needed -High end creature selection: some good stuff in this build like cons sphinx, elesh norn, angel or ruins.. but also some questionable. Dont see Ancient Gold D, Lord of the void, brainstealer D, Elder Brain, or NEO Jin being very reliable. There's a lot of experimentation availble here - my guide is "does this give me insane value? Or if these all came out from a living death, do they win" Cheers yall
@daddycrow5057 Thanks for asking.. my build gets off the ground with looting effects, evolves into heavy self mill in order to dig for necrotic ooze combo, and what actually closes out is living death. If I'm not able to quite find my combo, a one-shot reanimation of Vilis, Razaketh, Nezahal, consecrated Sphinx, sphinx of the second sun can generate steady advantage I like a touch of initiative with white plume and seasoned dungeoneer- the undercity is big value and sefris can uniquely power through it. There's a smattering of interaction between counterspells and creature based removal, I've found just enough to protect my win in my meta The more direct/common wincon for sefris that I'm not running is Karmic guide/reveillark Mikaeus + yawgmoth + X is also an option I've seen builds focused on durdling around etbs too www.moxfield.com/decks/olDNP7PJR02uBXTlPEue2A
I would add Radiant Solar and Tortured Existence, they are truly excellent at fueling sefris Initiative cards also work really well since you can advance in the dungeon fast and its rooms give you better stuff than regular dungeons
personally, I would cut some of the most expensive target reanimators, maybe some of those that need to connect to to anything like the white dragon@@commanderbydaenen
Been playing Sefris for a bit, my must haves -- Tortured Existence (literally the best card in the deck for your commander triggers imo), Radiant Solar, Oriq Loremage (tutor for a creature to the graveyard AND trigger Sefris to potentially instantly reanimate it, or find Unburial Rites), and White Plume Adventurer (this one is great with Loremage and looters, means Sefris triggers on every other players turns too very reliably). I generally agree with the sentiment that the fewer non-creatures the better as well, more Sefris triggers that way. Sweet deck though, I'll have to try Sire of Stagnation in my list. :)
my Sefris deck is a little strange because it's the commander I chose to make my Persistent Petitioners vs Shadowborn Apostles Cult deck.... so I run a ton of creatures, and more than half of them are those! because most of my bros are humans, I run Angel of Glory's Rise to mass recur any that have hit the yard late game, Dreadhound and Syr Konrad do a lot of damage work. Since my creatures start off smaller and I'm not in overrun colors, I have some politicking like Propaganda. But yeah, the most effective venture creatures are DEFINITELY Radiant Solar, and for me Seasoned Dungeoneer. Raffine, Scheming Seer can make something absolutely massive with all the little guys. it's still a bit of an experiment to find the balance, but it's pretty funny

Can you link your deck list for reference?

Would love to see your list! You sound experienced with this commander

I run 45 creatures currently, but I’m willing to run more!

Good additions! I just don't know what I'd cut for them.

Plains swamp and island cycle creatures. Cheap reliable venture trigger. As well as mana fixing since you can fetch duals shocks and triomes
I am building a The Everchanging Dane Deck with Sefris as hidden Commander with much Initiative and Party Cards
