    Seems like a good job for heavy equipment like an excavator.

    • @apveening
      @apveening 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +23

      In this case I would seriously consider hiring an explosives expert, explosive cutting works on wood too and can be done from a safe distance.

    • @WildAcresFarms
      @WildAcresFarms 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      @@apveening I do messes like this regularly. Excavator works great. Dig the stumps of the hung trees out, and drag the stump backward or push it sidesays until it falls out of the standing tree. Then it’s just a bunch of bucking. It’s a fantastic tool for these jobs - you’re in a metal cage and never underneath the danger zone.
      Explosive sound much more fun, however.

    100% agree about removing all the smaller pieces first. It’s easy to think “what difference is that little bit going to make?”, but sometimes snagging on something quite small can send your top down in a way you weren’t expecting. Plus it’s easier to move ropes and see what’s there and move around.
    It sounds like a small detail but it can make a big difference.
    Well done Jake and team, good day.
