    I made Peter Parker's Manhattan apartment from Spider-Man 2 & 3 by hand. No technology was used to make this miniature diorama. Everything is made from scratch with my own two hands.
    Everything is made in 1:12 scale. Plenty of these mini makes could be used in your dollhouse.
    In the video I made; a door and hardware, mini cups/mugs, pens & pencils, a kettle, magazines & books, electric outlets, light switch, a chair, paper towels, jars & containers, a sink, a trash can made from a cap, an oven mitt, plates/bowls made from painted trash plastic, a toaster oven, battery powered lighting (including a bare bulb) & more 🫨😲
    As I was making this diorama, I made some full length tutorial videos for various items and components, which I've linked below.

    I have watched mini channels on YT for a very long time and although there are many creative miniaturists in various categories, there are very few hands-on miniaturists on YT, (three of them are men) that I consider top-of-the-line, you and the creator of the 144 scale are included with these top-of-the-line artisans. You're so skillfull, imaginative, and have pure creativity, while inspiring others to actually start this beautiful form of art. Never change. Thank you for sharing your hand-made beautuful builds. I can watch them over and over again! ❤

      For this type of video, I enjoy no voiceover bc you watch and wonder what I'm doing with something like googly eyes, then you see they're drawer pulls and you're 😲

      @@queencityminis that will be fantastic! I can't remember if it was your or another channel where I saw the googly eye dresser pulls idea! When I saw it, 😱🤯 was my exact reaction LOL 😂! It's such a simple thing but it makes a huge difference in the look of whatever it is a person is making! Those cup type pulls I haven't seen anywhere I order supplies or in any Google search. I'll be putting a sewing room in one of my 1:12 projects and I'd been looking for simple ways to make spools, and the technique you shared is just exactly what I needed! Oh my Gawd…..this is such a good idea. My husband is a huge Spider-Man fan and has collected those comic books since high school. (He’s 57 now and still gets his comic books every month.) I’m totally gonna do this for him to put in his comic book room but I wanna make a closet with a door that opens and has the suit hanging in there. (Not sure how to pull that off but I’m gonna give it a try. Thanks for the wonderful idea!!!

    • @queencityminis
      @queencityminis  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can do it! Making the door is the hardest part (and it's really not that hard). Adding a closet behind it is no worries. The suit...Textile is not my medium, but a hanging suit shouldn't be too bad.

    what an a amazing skill, not to mention an amazing imagination. I have learned so much from this one video and it has helped me think outside the box. Something I reuse a lot are 'mother-boards from old computers/printers etc. They contain such a variety of small components, that I can always find something teh right size to represent something in one of my projects. You just have to find a computer shop that has a lot of old computers that they just dump. I picked up 3 computers and a monitor/display screen today. Amazingly, the monitor provided a myriads of items that I wasn't expecting. It was like Christmas all over again!

    • @davidacton7937
      @davidacton7937 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I don't think there are many useable components inside a laptop., but I have never looked inside one. The part you want is called a mother boards , that is where all the cool 'bits' are! Printers are also a goof source of items that can be used in dioramas, depending on the type of dioramas you build of course. Check some larger computer repair places and see if they can at least give you an old computer that they were only going to throw out, or at least just a mother board. I picked up a few computers from a place that specializes in communication equipment. Happy hunting!@@queencityminis
