There were moments during this review where I thought here's a luxury SUV I can get on board with. I was back and forth between the GLE and XC60 in regard to which I like best. The two 12.3 in. screens make quite the statement, and the 4 air vents above that incredible console with the grab bars adds a touch of elegance. Drew and Mason, you delivered yet again with an excellent review. It is obvious that you both put much thought in what you do. Also, your laid back personalities are a bonus. I lived in North Carolina during my college years, so I really like the southern energy. I'm simply acknowledging you two.

Fantastic video review of the new 2020 GLE450...I learned more about the car from this video then when I test drove the 2020 GLE350 and GLE 450 last week. The 2020 GLE 350 has no power, dont know why they went to a 4cylinder, there is no giddy up in that SUV. I have a ML350 and that is really fast. Was very disappointed in the 350, going to get the GLE 450

My main issue with majority of Mercedes’ lineup is the read end. It’s like they put all their effort into the front and minimal effort in the back.

MB kind of messed up with not offering a Blutec diesel option. I mean the majority of the previous generation ML and GLE were spec'd out with the 3.0 diesel V6 so why they wouldn't offer it this time around is a bit beyond me. Excellent review!
DieselGate is the reason. Only a few manufacturers still offers diesels except for pickups.

the Q7 is still more spacious and comfortable. Too bad in north america they don't bring the carboceramic brakes and anti-roll bars. All this tech is available in germany.

Cheers guys , I’ve seen quite a lot of professional reviews but you guys are different. Some suggestions if you don’t mind- I’d like to see some technical details on the suspension design, you could turn the front wheel from lock to lock and stick in the camera for the viewers. For example Audi and the new cayennes have a complex multi link front suspension as opposed to the more traditional double wishbone which the GLE chose to use. Maybe a word or two from a technical reliability would add a nice touch to your review

You mentioned the remote start via the key fob and the app. Are you sure? When I did the test drive the dealership told me it was only via the app? I just want clarification.

Unless I am missing something, you can not remotely start this vehicle from the key itself. Only the Mercedes ME Connect application. Good video though..

back turn indicators are no more orange which is not correct from ergonomically and for eye site disable people.
Just to clarify, remote start can only be done by the phone app.
It must weight a lot the x5 40i host a 0-60 time with less horsepower in a modest 5.3 and stepping up to the x5 50i drops it to 4.6 seconds
I personally don’t find this good looking at all. I like the interior but Mercedes exteriors are a hit or miss.

Is it me or is the exterior styling (esp when you look at the vehicle from the side) looks old/outdated?
It's interesting how many times you hear "it's only available with this option package" whenever you watch any Mercedes review. German luxury automakers would probably charge extra for transparent windows if they could get away with it.
