That last minute and a half is some of the heaviest lifting an orchestral tuba player gets to do.
My all time fav, we played it every year in High school orcehstra!
That’s gotta be the definition of insanity
It’s actually really fun
Playing it in grade 6
@@TheGasComs81 8th actually
I'm playing this song tmmrw with my high school at a state festival I'm so scared🙏
Shoutout to the baller cello section helping me learn this for my community orchestra 😅
Played this at both high schools I attended and at least one of the two community orchestras I played with.
Im going to see a high school concert tonight and they are gonna play this
Fantastic!
That's just Яблочко. You can find a full Russian ballet dancing to it on here if you dig around
Exactly. But the words of this song - in different versions of it, it is better not to know, because they are all very indecent ...
I’m playing this in my 5 th grade strings orchestra
This is great! Everyone was amazing!
Well done !
Awesome our band is playing that I play the flute 🪈 it’s hard for me right now but I am practicing 😊
Awesomely good !
Beautiful!
the absolute best❤❤❤
i love this song.
Doesn't get more Russian that that!
In Soviet Яussia, ship sails you!!
That bass clarinetist is really good at projecting, I could actually hear it which is very uncomon.
Help I'm playing this in my seventh grade advanced orchestra 😭
Wow you must be really good im playing it in 11th grade
So am I!!!!
I’m playing this in eighth grade and it’s so fun
I played it in my regular 7th grade orchestra because we don’t have a advanced one 😭
you go to palms?💀
It's sad to see such an amazing country die off so quickly. Vlad has a broken calculator. As a child we gladly played this piece as an inspiration. Today it brings tears to my eyes. NATO will devour Russia unless they join and cease the sad fire of the old world.
this is me
1:53 - 2:04 sounds like the background music for a fan made One Piece video
We played this in 2022 and they changed the name in the program to "slavic sailors dance" to not 'offend' anyone because of the current social climate. It really bothered me because that they tried to virtue signal by changing the name of a great composition. Gliere rolled in his grave.
Thank you for this music!.Never heard it before! I´m a longstanding friend of Russia since I visited the country in 1970 an understood their immense sufferings in WWll which saved us all from the nazis. Now they are doing it again..
Russky Muzzikant
Hope those Russian Sailors enjoy their dances aboard Black Sea Warships. They better enjoy it while it lasts, til Ukrainian Anti-ship Missiles blow them outta the water!!!
Must you discuss politics and the war on such an incredible piece of culture, not related to putin. While putin's actions in ukraine are horrible and must never be dismissed; bringing it into something like this is pointless. As if you're trying to devalue this music just because of what russia's *current* leader is doing. Some sympathy at least for russian men who get sent into battle to die without any gear or equipment, not knowing what they're up against is also in it's place by the way. Can you not just enjoy the beauty of this orchestral performance?
War is still going and it's looking like a bleak winter for Ukraine. Spare a thought for the Iraqis, Afghanis, Syrians and Libyans that had their wars prolonged and countries torn apart thanks to American funded missiles. Bush Obama and Blair make Putin look like a saint in comparison.
You idiot, this is a Ukranian song too.
That was an epic ratio the guy above me just made!
That ain't happening fred. You watch too many american movies.
I’ve always loved this piece of music. It made taking the alto/bass clarinet home not such a chore.
