At this point where companies have desinged almost anything you can think of around a simple placard or chest rig, it is interesting to watch what separates them from each other. Respect from Argentina

Its an awesome design. So many useful applications for military, LEO, security or civilian use. I think i want to run the admin pouch as a mini trauma kit.
20 years of war is really paying off in "lessons learned" when it comes to kit and gear. Ive learned more field craft since i left the service than i did in.😂😂
As a first sergeant I learned how slow the ball rolls. Most things we're taught are lagged by 10 years.....probably because that's how long the contracts are and we have to keep teaching crap because we paid to for a period of time.
I just wish Shaw would get rid of the bungee cummerbund!

The shaw pc panel is my new favorite piece of gear.
I love the Raid V2 dangler. It does not hold as much stuff as the the Agilite Six Pack, but the Tubes change everything.
yea, I know Jason showed that tubes adapter for the six pack dangler last week too!

That does look like a sweet setup. The tripple mag insert is calling me now. The pee pee pouch has some sweet options as well. The first spear disconnect definitely caught my attention. Great review!
yea I got that one up next (the pee pee pouch). I'm still interested to try the 4 mag version....but I'm loving the tegris inserts.

I couldn't believe it when he said it. So yes, i did hate it.
I do love my Shaw Concepts products, still waiting on my carrier. This is the biggest thing I'm not liking right now, the out of stock or the wait when ordering something. I'm on 2 months wait. I did email them, and they did respectfully and with GREAT detail on my order. So because of the communication, I do continue to wait and order things from them. That and their products are very smart and fit my needs
What timeframe they give you? Haven’t heard anything since the 4th of July.
@nickfitzs7718 ordered on July 1st, emailed them on August 12th and they said there is an advertised lead time of 12 weeks from order
@nickfitzs7718 heard back from them, and now they are saying the end of September or the beginning of October

Does this placard allow integration of any "hook and loop" hanger pouch?

Does the Shaw Concepts Arc Placard V3 come with all 4 side Buckles needed to hook on your chest rig or does it only have the two male buckles at the top of the placard? Do I need to buy separate buckles in order to hook up my H-Harness?
i want the Arc placard for the specific reason that it can hold 4 mags. Plan to use it for a DMR setup along with a belt to be light and nimble and plates aren't really needed. also just a light setup in general. ill wait to see your review on the rest of the arc chest rig kit as i'm torn between that and the lunar concepts HX hybrid.
Look at the Tracer tactical scout rig for that also. It's a stupid good setup.

The V3 placard is great, but keep in mind it has hook and loop inside and not just loop. It connects to itself and stays closed when it's empty, but won't hold some inserts very well. Shaw sells an elastic quad insert, but if you want something more rigid, Wise Men Company sells a polymer quad insert with hook and loop. It'll hold three of the AR-10 Pmags if you want, too.
@@chrisleewright6629 yea I plan to stick the tegris Wiseman Quadsert inside mine. I love that little thing and all the rigidity. definitely need a hook/loop insert. they sell a triple insert as well.
That placard is super nice. Set up on a chest rig tho, how fast can you run now?
Interestingly, not fast enough to dodge bullets. Which I thought was the whole point. I feel cheated....

@ThinLineDefenseCo was wonderful if the arc placard v3 fit on a agilite k-19 and also a k-zero carrier wanted to run a quad mag placard on it. Didnt know if you had tried it since you have both carries and placard
Yea it'll fit. the placard is fully adjustable so the height is adjustable

I’m beginning to understand why Shaw Concepts’ stuff is so pricey. Lots of really well thought out features; I especially like that everything snugs down really nicely.
As much as I enjoy giving grief for overpriced gear, the Shaw Concepts stuff is really nice. And the owner is nice....instead of some other companies we love. I was impressed by Shaw through and through.

I have the same insert for my V3 but the retention on my mags is insane, Do i just need to do some push ups? or could i have put the placard together incorrectly?
hmm it shouldn't be that bad. Look at mine in the video, it's pretty normal. try to install the inserts with the mags installed

I am SO bummed out Shaw Concepts doesn't deliver to Europe.... I would love to look into the ARC plate carrier :(

not sure but the shaw is better anyway haha they should fit though.

absolutely! You just need to make sure your placard has qasm or ghook connections. What carrier are you trying to hook it into? I can help

I built out a nice carrier and belt for my nerd brain playing airsoft but I’m looking for a decent budget set of weighted plates, because I’m playing airsoft I don’t need ballistic at all and it’s an investment I’m not ready to make, I don’t even own firearms (yet)
but I want the weight, does anyone have any diy or affordable options to adding that weight for PT, limiting myself when playing a sport I find too easy and not challenging at times, and general nerd brain?
I’ve thought about taking the airsoft foam inserts and cutting out a spot for some 2.5 pound weights but idk if the distribution or comfort (like adding pressure points I mean) will be thrown off.

For weight I took the hollow evike plastic plates, popped a hole in them, filled them with playground sand, then taped the hole.
Do the G Hooks come with the placard? Nothing on their website specifies and all the videos just say you can use them, not that it comes with them.

It's the SDR SDK from FOSA. I couldn't possibly recommend this. It's been in development for forever and took me like 6 months to get mine. Somehow it's still in preorder. I'm honestly ashamed for even showing it.

Cost is the killer. The mk.5 is too similar in base that it just becomes a fan boy want, and not need.
