      @@ASprinkleofAnime IKR Girl! Sorry, NOT SORRY! Can’t stand not having lots of alone time (actually alone, but most men are too insecure to believe a woman can actually crave alone time and self-care without needing him up under her). I grew up as a only child, and I’m naturally a HUGE introvert so being with others becomes super draining after a few days, shoot some people a few minuets 😂😂

    This is the first apartment tour to give me envy. My tiny 1-room is okay but I so desperately want a 2-room so I can have a bedroom. This place is set up almost exactly how I have envisioned for my future 2-room. I hope I can make it a reality some day.

  • @femmebrulee5053
    @femmebrulee5053 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Very cool, efficient layout. I would remove the kitchen island. There's enough counter and cabinet space without it. I prefer a regular height table that could seat 4-6 people. Maybe a drop leaf table.

  • @leonardozhang

      I agree! I feel the same way when working from home, as we live in an open plan studio flat (in London, UK). I would love to live in a flat/, apartment like this one in the video! :-)

      @pjt3887 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@barandigemini I had a friend use Ikea bookcase hack. Made a sort of secondary space in the loft. You can add doors so it's additional storage as well. If you go back to back add bottom cabinets molding around for a built in look. It was pretty cool way to split up the huge loft.

    Descent Kitchen. Small Living area, but you have a balcony. Descent that you have in apartment laundry! That is always a plus. One thing about NYC apartments, CLOSETS, CLOSETS, CLOSETS!!! If you don't get sufficient apartment storage, you'll be renting a storage space & be changing your clothes in & out of storage seasonally. Or like Carrie Bradshaw, use your oven to store your sweaters. Or pack your out of season clothes in your luggage. I did that when I lived in a small apartment.

      The thing is most of the apartments that are small are in Manhattan. BK queens and Bronx you can get a lot of space. Especially in the Bronx. The Bronx you can still find apartments 1 bedrooms for under 2,000 dollars. Some places in brooklyn like flatbush, Crown Heights, you can find large apartments for cheaper price. Everyone is not paying 3 and 4 thousand dollars for rent
