Im a pro photographer based in NYC. I shoot portraits and dance. I have thousands of dollars worth of gear. During the pandemic I wanted to shoot so I started working tabletop and found it really interesting. Im back to shooting dancers again . My husband recently gave me an iphone 13 pro max and I was blown away with the quality of the camera inside...macro, portrait.low light. Im doing a product shoot tomorrow and I am bringing my iphone along to see how it performs. I didnt realize there were interesting apps to go with it. Thank you for making me aware. I agree that talent and passion and patience in setting up are key. Keep up the good work!

Anil, many thanks for making this video ! It was exactly what I needed as for small product photography. I was hoping you might be able to answer a question. I'm using a Galaxy S21 phone. It's shooting well with natural light through Lightroom, but for some reason, the top areas of the screen are in sharp focus but the bottom area of the shots are somewhat soft. Could you tell me how to correct this ? I would be very appreciative if you can help me correct this 🙏

    • @ShootSmartphone

Thanks, unfortunately you can’t set the pixels or dimensions like that in Lightroom Mobile. Ou would have to do that in another app or on desktop. You can only adjust the aspect ratio in the Lightroom Mobile 👊🏽

Hey, unfortunately, this tripod is now discontinued. There is a link in the comments for a K&F Concept tipod that is a very good alternative the one that I'm using in this video.

What iPhone do you have out of curiosity? I have iPhone 11 and the picture quality itself (outside of any photography app) is grainy do you have any suggestions or tips on how to correct it?

I have both the iPhone 13 and 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 11 should have a decent camera, but it's wide lens is a few generations old now, so it won't have as good a sensor as the new iPhone Pro range. The best advice I can give you is make sure you have enough light in your photos. This will help with the graininess as the low light performance will be bad, especially with an older phone like the iPhone 11.
