I dont ever pay for apps, but i've got an annual subscription to this one now-I hope as a complete novice its worth it! BTW-do you ever use white backdrops? Ive watched a couple of videos now and havent seen one come up
This is amazing video and very useful but I want to know that which micro lense for phone is better for the jewellery photography with the focus on whole subject like (Pendent, Ring, Bracelets) not a single part of the product???
Hey Sam, unfortunately, I don’t have a recommendation. I don’t shoot any photography with a light box. I like to you use more creativity and find that consistent photos using a good background is a lot better. 👊🏽
@@ShootSmartphone I watched them on instagram, they are way better than what we get with whatever settings we use. Could you please explain why with default settings zooming on phone the quality is so bad? And what app could solve exactly this problem?
I’m not sure if I understand your question, but in this video, I used the standard camera app with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. There are different photos in the video, one was with the standard wide lens, and the other was with the tele lens.
Great content - just what I need for inspiration! Have you sent the photos to the company? It'd be interesting to see if they like your interpretation of their products! In fact, can I ask, have you ever done this for a company 'on spec' and managed to get a commission out of them?!
Yeah I don’t see why these techniques can be used with an Android. As long as the the camera setup is similar and you had an Android with a telephoto lens.
I look at my Jewelry it look so good then I take picture with iphone11 it looks like crap, I want to capture the sparkle the iphone11 just eliminates it completely.
It’s all about manipulating the light. Try playing around with a light a lot more see if you can get the light to hit the jewelry in a way that it does sparkle. The other option is to use a creative filter like a starburst filter.
@@ShootSmartphone thank you for replying. I tried more light, I tried direct lighting. I tried indirect lighting. I tried diffusing the light, I tried outdoor lighting. I tried white background. I tried black background. I could get the jewelry to sparkle but iPhone just keeps changing it to what it thinks it should be which is usually OK but not what I wanted. No matter what I do. Took a boat load of pictures. I finally gave up. But thanks, it seems to me the more light added the more the iPhone would gray the whites.
Love love the way you teach!!! I can listen to you for days
Thank you! 😃
Bro! The energy is unparalleled...killin it! keep it up Anil
Thanks Sam, I appreciate the support 😁👊🏽

That's cool. I don;t often use white backgrounds unless I have to for e commerce sites or catalogues. It's not my thing as you lose all creativity.
Love your enthusiasm in your videos bud! Great photos too 👍
Thanks David! It’s easy when you create videos about things that you’re passionate about 👊🏽😁

You’re welcome 😁👊🏽
Okay awesome! How do you work the reeflex app? I really like it but I don’t know what the icons mean
Hey, checkout my video dedicated video on the app. I go through all of the options and icons.
Yoo Anil! I have a online jewelry shop. I want to keep the them consistent throughout the website. Do you recommend a light box?
**I want to keep the photos consistent throughout the website; like a theme.

Hey! I'm trying to find which camera app do you use? I have problems with a closer details on my jewelry, they don't focus well
I'm using ReeFlex. It should be linked in the show notes for the video. It's free, and is currently my go app for product photography.
Could you upload pictures you got? Currently the issue is that when you zoom the pictures they are blurred and look terrible.
Hey, the photos from this photoshoot are on my Instagram: @anil.dave 👊🏽

Thanks, I’m glad you got some value from the video. I haven’t contacted the company directly, but it does sound like an interesting strategy.
Can this idea be used with Android?

How do you avoid the iPhone reflecting in the object that are high reflective when you set up the phone so close?
Great question and I have video coming up to cover this.

Light creates shadow, shadow creates texture, texture creates feeling, feelings creates emotion.
You look like Jason Momoa
That’s a first 😁
