Serral was playing with his food. Those games were sad to watch. I am not saying Neeb is bad , it is just Serral is making everyone look bad when he plays them

Why? I also hate playing it because it seems too strong, but well here he is playing against top pro players, i guess it's not the same
Its sad because it never feels good to play vs swarm host you are always forced into survival mode and you can either hang on or just straight up die

Haven't finished the game yet but Serral's micro with the zerglings in the beginning was already insane. I'm not too sure about the GG by Neeb there in the end, felt way too early, it was a pretty weird situation though so I have no idea how it would have ended had the game dragged on. Building Spire vs mass fenix also feels weird, but the timing attack he pulled out actually did pretty well, it felt very similar to how a zerg counters bc rush, just build roach ravager corruptor.
Cmon bro. This is not a bronze-dia game where you can drag a game to the ridiculous and just make your oponent bored. Actually neeb should had left before.

Can someone explain why Serral pulled his zerglings back at the beginning of game 1? I felt like he could've won if he kept pushing there or at least got some economic damage in
He didn't want to remake them and got more value from them later as scouts and defense than throwing them away to the nearly finished adept.
Any strength preservation. You are correct, he could have made more use of them. But they were also his only form of defense as well at the time.

@@tbird81 if the lings would have had full health, going in is probably still correct as the adapt would have wasted a lot of time chasing lings.
However they were already badly damaged and of better use for defense as serral always wants to drone,drone,drone instead of rebuilding the zerglings.

Great game. Skipping parts of the game...caught me off guard. I haven't seen that before.
Idea time: How about making Stasis Trap with Oracle for the retreating units of zerg? Another one concerning stasis trap in the enemy mineral line - the zergs have gotten used to it and are now pulling one drone to trigger it - how about countering that with second oracle + laser to snipe that one drone?
Neebs room looks so sad tho...
I'm obviously not as good at this game but just wanna say that I can go to a random part of late game 2 and find where burrow would have been worth it for sure

To be fair, the pro players have to play so many games of sc2 that maybe gging is the best way to go because of how boring it can all be.
i haven't played sc2 since WOL days... are stasis traps a viable counter to swarm hosts?
it helps give you a bit more time to respond if your surprised, but normally the zergs just trigger it with 1 locust first before making the others attack

12 pool being a macro opener in LotV is just insane. Freely messes with the opponents opener, and they have no idea how many Lings are coming behind it.
Worst case you break even, best case you just win outright.

Ok real talk, why do Locusts do so much damage? Yeah I know its a huge investment from Zerg and blah blah, but does one Locus wave really need to evaporate a Nexus in 3 seconds? Even while the whole Protoss army is there?
Because blizzard always plays favorites in all of their games.

Corruptors need a slight nerf, they are fast unit with massive hp + bonus can melt bases , made them a bit slower or reducing their hp from 200 to 180 seems resasonable :v but I'm not pro so imma shut up xD
Serral is the only Zerg right now that can take away real wins. Every other Zerg has to make that edgy plays that are more luck than skill.

The harsh truth is that when any Protoss decided to turn to stargate before securing a leading position against Zerg, you know he is going to lose.
It's just that Corruptors are a terribly designed unit, sadly they canceled the support for the game but hope devs/balance-team sees it and redesigns them.. I'd personally make them move slower but move faster when carrying a spine/spore (new ability) and reduce their damage initially (remove the ability that snipes bases though :P) :D

@@Nico-nv3ej That never happens, maybe in an editor with 100 supply of immortals vs 200 supply roaches. In a real game where the Zerg actually techs its trivial to trade efficiently, in late game their army is just better.

Swarmhost supply isn't impactful on defense.

Same here. I actually generally avoid serral games. It’s so boring to watch. U can tell the casters feel the same way subconsciously because they never cast anything on the Zerg side. Camera is mostly on opponent side and watching what they do. It doesn’t matter what the Zerg player does. We know all tech is within reach, even when u go no tech zerglings is good enough to win games.
@@LeCheckmate Of course it is, if they are not dead then they've been trading resources for free the entire time. Whatever is coming at the zerg is going to be weaker.

I dont know I should say this, but "mass X" is not a strat, at least should be gold strat, if mass a single unit type get you the win, a kid can do that too. In some rare cases it is funny and goofy and might offer some interesting result base on how the player use it, but most of the time it is kind of make the game boring.

I love Zerg, I applauded when Serral won the WSL against Koreans some 2 years ago? But now I have to dislike this video. He just wins, and wins and wins. He makes watching his videos boring. Whatever he does he is gonna win 95% of the time. No possible counter. It makes Zerg feel OOP. Yeah, double O. The worst of SC2 is it never felt balanced. Over the years zerg were either just crushable 2nd tier players or Absolute OP. Same for TvP. I expect T winning against P 75 % of the time. And don't get me wrong. I love SC and its Universe. I may love it's lore more than Star Wars'. (Especially after Micky Mouse's Intermission after the 6 first episodes). That is why even I watch both, recently I prefer watching BW Remastered casts. Despite massing siege tanks at least still feels more balanced. They just needed a couple patches and got the goddam game more balanced than the leaning Tower of Pisa. Wish they found some balance in SC2 too. One day. Maybe... I really believe it deserves it 100%.
Clem wiped the floor with him recently. And also Clem wiped the floor with Reynor. I believe this is the start of the rise of terran. Protoss still trash. Zerg v terran ok now. I would even say zerg is starting to lose now against terran. Protoss is just left in the trash
