There are a few skips/video issues in the first games between Has & Gogojoey. Sadly this was already the case in the original stream. I cut a few of the issues out but didnt get everything

That immortal juggling with the warp prism at the end of the last game was insane.
Man I remember how inefficient Has’s cheese used to be where he’d throw down like 6 or 7 pylons before warping in cannons. It’s really great to see him grow and streamline his strats.
his micro was also pretty insane at the end, he only made one real mistake
And after getting ahead with cheese I remember he used to build mass zealots or do something like that.

If Protoss were real, I'd expect them to fight like Has plays - warp in, warp out, dirty tricks, DTs, constant aggression from multiple angles, illusions, stasis fields - ALL OF IT!!! EXCELLENT!!!! Is there any whisper of Starcraft 3 yet?

Zerg need to learn how to research BURROW early against these early aggression strats. You can save queens and drones for days against Protoss harass.

It is just dirt and metal, a long time ago, when player defended there main and didn't have destroyed this, they where hitting it instead of enemies which is unfortunate.

It's a path blocker. There used to be a strat that nobody could defend where Terran would plop bunkers right at the bottom of the ramp, a long time ago. Blizzard added these in your main to stop people from blocking the ramp off with buildings as easily.
as Jonah says, its the neutral structure to block the ramp from the full walling it. It a little bit disturb for the cannon and bunker rushers

That zerg in the first game is no doubt the worst player i’ve ever seen in a pro match.
5:44 dumb mistake by HAS as bottom cannons missed couple of shots to the Hatchery! Obviously zerg would've focused the pylon and not the 3 cannons!

Gogojoey's play didn't look like pro player level. Not targeting the pylon with spines in the 1st game etc. The last game against Rex was great though.

Rex plays very good, I always wonder why pro gamers always finish the cannon rushed hatchery and even most of noobs in EU diamond (EU diamond is NA GM :P) are so smart to cancel it and rebuild in other place, it looks like too much self confidence of other pro players. Look how much HAS wasted resources on that, was on 1 base forever and down in everything, a simple counter strike just kick him out of the planet

bro, I rarely play games at all, I mostly watch. In Russia, playing through cannons is a sign of bad taste and inability to play macro. And these are the words of professional commentators. Checkmate.

Btw. Stats also has a very (defensiv) cannon based playstile and he is one of the best toss in the world

I've watched thousands of games and I'm sure the protoss initially has a huge advantage that he can just come and build cannons, going into the stargate. The easiest and simplest strategy, but from which even the same Serral or INnoVation or Life can't always fight back. Even to get achievements in starcraf 2, for example, where you need to win against several AI experts - protoss are the best race for this, because other races are not capable of it. Protoss are the easiest to control and don't require much microcontrol. F2, A click, GG.
This really does show the difference between Brood War and SC2. Canon rush in BW was really just a right of passage for a noob but once you got up the ladder you rarely if ever saw this type of cheesy silliness as it really isn't healthy for the game.
SC2 it's just an integral part of pretty much any game vs protoss. It remains silly and noobish but because balance and design of SC2 is so poor compared to Brood War it is strong enough to see consistent pro play. That just sad.

@@GoblinUrNuts really because in 4 games we see 3 cannon rushes and 1 proxy Stargate. Very very unique indeed. Sure he adapted afterwards I can grant that, that doesn't change my initial complaint, that a noob strategy of rushing cannon which was laughed at as exactly what it was in BW, IE noob stuff done to cheese bad players, is actually so effective at pro level play it is literally seen in 3 out of 4 games.
There is a reason SC2 has gone maintenance mode for Blizzard and the proscene is a joke where as BW literally created esports and even now continues to last and see innovation that turns match-ups on their head.
@@GoblinUrNuts tell me how much micro is required to cast a pylon and a cannon? Now how much is required to micro early ling/marine/zealot engages, kiting dragoon shots with vulchers/hydras? I could go on. Any idiot can place a pylon and a cannon the lack of actual skill required to do it is why it's a noob strat, if you actually had any history with this game you would get that.
Also you are only proving my point with your Zerg comment. When the early game is so cut and dry you know you will get a cannon rush, early second hatch, etc etc it's not a very healthy game. It's a predictable with limited room for variation, adaption or originality.
When protoss kept spanking Terran to the point people thought the match-ups was figured out and Protoss just had an advantage over them, players innovated with drop ship strategies and suddenly the entire match-up turned on it's head to the point people started to think Terran was just to good against Protoss. This was over a decade after BW had came out. You don't see innovation like that in SC2.

2)He should've put the spine crawlers out of range of the cannons and just destroy the pylon...
3)Losing 7 drones to adepts is also why you don't sacrifice lings like that.
I don't even play SC2 and would have better decision making than this pro player!
