the scene with the lower moons and muzan was a very good comparison between muzan and the master of the demon slayers, specifically the hashira meeting. In the hashira meeting you could see how even tho the master asked for them to accept tanjiro and nezuko, there was still room for refusal and discussion, which is also why the hashiras respect him so much. meanwhile here with muzan, there's just no room for discussion, at all. really enjoy the deliberate comparison they've given.
I've always loved the comparison of him forcing the lower moons to bow when the hashira did so instantly
Exactly! The comparison is so fascinating! The master leads with love and kindness, Muzan leads with cruelty and fear.

I hope this isn’t considered as spoilers but the Master of the Demon Slayers is actually related to Muzan. Muzan is the ancestor of Master Kagaya.
I like how Lower One was agreeing to Muzan when everyone was contradicting and defending themselves. He was just agreeing and doing a reverse psychology unintentionally to Muzan and that satisfied Muzan. He saved himself back there lol.
I'd also like to think that Lower One was too weird for Muzan lol.

Muzan also prefers Demons with a screwed up mindset or appearance, and Enmu was just batshit crazy, perfect for a Demon in Muzan's eyes.
Reverse psychology? Maybe 🤔. But then again, I honestly feel that Enmu (Lower 1) genuinely enjoys the horror and suffering of others. Humans and demons alike. Hell, you could probably even be a chicken crossing the road and he'd be lurking in the bushes somewhere waiting to see the look on your face before it's crushed and smeared all over the pavement by car tires. Yeah, if Enmu were in a live action movie, I bet he'd give off Joker-meets-Pennywise vibes. 🤡
I’m glad you guys are giving the writer credits for this. Demon Slayer gets so much hate abt the writing 💀but only in the west. Ppl in Japan love it sm since it portrays Japanese culture and Tradition. It’s not only that, it also gives us a new idea of demons, it shows how both sides are victims sometimes. Im enjoying ur reactions, hope you guys continue watching it❤️

Lol I like the writing, I just don't like when they pull stuff out of nowhere. I'd have no problem if that stuff was explained from the start. I also get annoyed by how some of the female characters are written, but otherwise I don't have anything big to add. I love the cultural aspects of kny and all of the characters are unique and loveable!

The question is can you do cliche shounen well while adding your own charm.

5:35 For clarity, Kyogai (the demon with the drums) was *officially* Lower 6 until he reached his limit of eating humans and was stripped of his number by Muzan. Kiyogai then came across Kiyoshi, the older brother of Shoichi (the boy with Zenitsu) and Teruko (the girl with Tanjiro). Kiyoshi has the Marechi blood and was using the drum from Kyogai's back to change the room in the mansion whenever another demon entered. Kyogai said that if he could have managed to eat Kiyoshi then his Marechi blood would have given him the power boost of eating 50-100 regular humans and then he would have the strength to challenge a current member of the 12 Kizuki to reclaim a position among them.

@@kristophergap17 Very good question. In Kyogai's flashback , he's in the process of devouring a human when Muzan shows up and questions whether or not he has the capacity to continue eating. Muzan believes Kyogai had reached the limit of his usefulness to him and strips him of his number as Lower 6. If Kyogai can manage to eat 1 person with Marechi blood, then his power increase would be equivalent to eating 50-100 humans in one shot.
I love how you can see a clear dichotomy between the two groups:
The Hashiras bow to the Master out of respect
The Demons bow to Muzan out of fear

the story doesn't really focus on romance though there are cute interactions between the couples being shipped and the author of demon slayer also confirmed who ended with who.

14:35 Yes, Muzan was a master of complete disguise. Remember how in episode 22 all the Hashira barraged Tanjiro with so much question about Muzan? Because he was cleverly hide himself, assimilated with humans for centuries.. So no one alive then knew almost anything about him.

One small advice for season 2 - get good headphones or sound system.
"Kagaya Ubuyashiki", or the Demon slayer leader, is NOT a demon slayer, he has no fighting skills. It is just because of his insight, genuine care, deep rooted motivation, and extraordinary instinct with which he accurately made several guesses/prediction about multiple things that were eventually proven to be true and accurate without him knowing any prior information and which also makes him loved and respected by all the demon slayers especially by Hashiras.

@@firelight9115 Man this isn't a spoiler in any sense. This contrast was seen already when every Hashira bowed to Oyakata-sama out of respect, but every lower-moon bowed down to Muzan due to fear. And if we are talking about what he predicted, it isn't shown even in manga precisely

I think along with setting the scene for the next arc, that this meeting of the demons was a compa re and contrast between the demons gathering and hashira. While Muzan rules with fear and power, the Demon slayer master shows respect and admiration in kind that is shown back through their demeanor
Season 2 is so epic I can’t wait for you guys to see it
I'm trying to count how many cells died in my body since they kept calling it Fire Breathing instead of Sun when the subtitles have said "Breath of the sun" like more than 4 times-

When they say season 2 they mean the entertainment district arc not the episode version of Mugen Train

I imagine its because watching someone see something you love for the first time sparks, or rekindles, that joy or passion i felt watching it for the first time. Kyogai was an ex-member, that other Upper-moon 6 demon was his replacement. And in-case you were confused on why Muzan is a woman now as said in the show they're a shapeshifter, as the first demon they is far from human and so their 'true-form' isn't seen as of yet so we don't know what gender or being Muzan originally was, Muzan changed because Tanjiro seen his last form, the fact the Hashira haven't seen Muzan and can't track them is because Muzan can appear in any form he wishes, since Tanjiro seen its current form it had to switch so that Tanjiro wouldn't tell the Hashira and then they would know what they looked like.

There's a scene in the manga that wasn't put into the anime for a reason.
That was after putting her hands on her chest, she was sitting down. one of the little trio called out to her, surprising her and having her fall flat on her face in a somewhat comical manner.

Right I forgot to say one thing--
The biwa demons blood demon art is pretty similar to kyogai. Both of them have a "territory" which spans their blood demon art and they can manipulate it using musical instruments. In her case, her "infinity mansion" is far larger than kyogais, who had a simple house. And I think it's somewhat like the demon's headquarters, since she summoned the the lower moons there for a meeting with the boss 👀 She also doesn't speak a single word so far and that gives her such a badass vibe imo. She's kinda cool.
Now you guys will get to witness again the true power of another Hashira. You can't blame the lower moon's fleeing for their lives, it's certain death if they clash with any of them.
His dad is more like "dance" to represent the Sun Breathing, his dad dont learn any sword technique (i think).

12 kizukis consist of 6 upper moons and 6 lower moons, The other way to distinguish them , is just by looking at their eyes. On lower moons, they only have one number/mark on one of their eyes, while the upper moons have numbers/mark on both of their eyes.

The master isn’t actually a demon slayer, he is just the master of the demon slayers. The masters family have been the masters forever basically, it’ll get explained more later on

Love and relationships in anime, I feel like it really depends on the anime. I feel like unless it specifically a love anime, most don't have that. Most protagonist kinda stay single. But they usually do focus on love and friendship. From what I've seen really.

Muzan specifically, following that theme of him being not just a coward, but immature. Whenever I saw his meeting, all I could think was, "He is an immature child."

It’s long (6 seasons going to 7th), but GOD DAMN IT IT’s ONE OF THE BEST ANIME SERIES FROM 2013 TILL NOW. The plot, storyline, character, and animation is CRAZY GOOD!!!

I think the movie should go first before season 2 because while some of the first episodes of season 2 play out the movie, they also add more depth and scenes that weren't in the movie. Watching the movie will give you a bigger impact emotionally I think.

In shounen anime/manga, it is normal for the male characters to have love interest/or the female character likes the male protagonist. But since shounen anime, like demon slayer, focused on the action, the romance side is just the sprinkle of spices.
I cant wait for you to watch the Mugen Train movie. The movie is like the straight continuation of the end of the 1st season, and you need to watch it before starting season 2 because you will be spoiled about... a certain thing.
But the movie was then adapted into 8 episodes anime itself and became the prequel to the 2nd season.

Season 3 is going to be this year on December, if you calculate every release date of the movie and the seasons then it is goingnto be this year. Or very early next year.
