Strengthen him in this moment Lord and show him that you are with him no matter what he is going through, and that he can count on your presence even in the darkest valleys. Encourage and comfort him and let him feel that he is more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. In His name we pray. Amen.

As a young man of God (17 soon to be 18), I just want to encourage you guys. Continue to grow your relationship with God. The Bible tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves, so learn to love yourself as God does, be bold in who God made you to be, and stand out for Christ. @ Bryson Reeves while I believe you mean well, "LEARN SELF-LOVE" IS NOT SCRIPTURAL. You'll find nothing of Jesus and the apostles preaching that. It is a twisting of "love your neighbor as yourself." There are so many verses where Jesus says, "HE WHO LOVES HIS LIFE WILL LOSE IT." (John 12:24-26, Matthew 10:39, Mark 8:35, Luke 9:24). Believers in Christ are even called to HATE OUR LIVES IN THIS WORLD FOR JESUS'S SAKE (John 12:25, Luke 14:26). The Holy Spirit-inspired Paul the apostle warns that in the last days men will be lovers of pleasure, lovers of money and LOVERS OF SELF RATHER THAN LOVERS OF GOD, professed believers who hold the form of religion while denying the power of it (2 Timothy 3:1-5). SELF-LOVE IS ANTI-GOSPEL, NEW AGE GARBAGE that sounds right to the itching ears BUT IS NOT SCRIPTURALLY SOUND (2 Timothy 4:3-4). IF JESUS HAD ENGAGED IN "SELF-LOVE" HE WOULD NOT HAVE DIED FOR US. He would have counted himself better and more important than us and called down twelve legions of angels to destroy everyone (Philippians 2:3-11, Matthew 26:51-54). The enemy deceives the world through songs that preach that "learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all." Meanwhile Jesus says "Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:12)
@@josedopwell9645 Thank you for your comment. I apologize for my wording because the Bible tells us we should die to ourselves daily, and I definitely agree with that. When I said self-love, I was more so meaning learning to love yourself as God loves you because our love is an extension of God's love to us. The Holy Spirit gives us the ultimate push to do things that we wouldn't be accomplishable in our own will, and I believe the Holy Spirit can help us love because the flesh fails without God. Therefore, I was saying like embrace God's love, and then you can give that out to others. God bless you bro, and I truly apologize for my wording. I'm sorry if anyone was misled or I came off as a Progressive Christian. Firm Christ believer just trying to grow and learn every day.
@@josedopwell9645 Also, I don't agree with the "self-love is the best love" statement either. The best love is that of God, and that's what I meant by embracing His love then extending it to others. Once again, I truly do apologize for being misleading. I changed it in the comment, but I don't know if previous people who've seen it will see the change which is definitely a downside. I should've just kept it at embrace God's love.

God still wants us to love ourself like how he loves us because we are part of His creation. But becareful not to come to a point that you already love yourself more than your neighbors and most importantly more than God.

I’m 14 I have to deal everyday with people saying there is no God, or people vaping, taking, drugs, etc. I will not give up my faith in my savior Jesus Christ. He was there for my ups and there for my downs if I have to die for him than so be it, I will never denounce Christ. I actually have had instances where I can see myself in my head, in a moment like the “Freedom moment” In Braveheart, saying I will not give up my God, while being persecuted. Everyone here needs to prepare for Christian persecution.
Praise God for your testimony. He can only be strong in you if you are weak. Meaning, keep Jesus on the throne of your heart. If you are in charge He can't be.

I feel you, I feel you so much, I'm 15 and it is bad. Really bad. It's tough to live in a society where the vast majority of teenagers are destroying their lives and have not a thought of the almighty God. Most "christian" teenagers are sometimes just as bad, they have no desire to be obedient or repent. I need fellowship with some true christians, especially ones my age but in my small town I'd be surprised if there are 50 true, sincere christians. Keep the faith dear brother/sister, please pray for me, I need courage to stand up for Jesus Christ.
@@elitaylor3930 Yes, I know, the “Christians” in my school all do awful things and just chalk it up as being a teen, but if they are doing this now they will keep doing it later in life. Do not listen to these teens for no one will ever be your real friend, your real friend is Jesus Christ. Remember guys, Jesus never promised it would be easy, but rewarding. Somewhat in this life but moreso in the next.

I'm a young man, 17 years old living in California, i have and still feel like I'm wasting my strength. I've fallen into countless amounts of sinful pleasures, sexual immorality , substance abuse, , dishonoring my mother and the list goes on. I didn't have a father growing up so being a man and masculine attributes that most sons learn growing up knew I didn't. I hurt people with my words, with my actions, and I've stayed up days reminiscing of the things i could have done better. I was to young to provide for my family but old enough to understand. As i grew older i know what i needed to do, understand my words and actions have power and to use them to build others up rather than tear them down. Jesus saved me from hurting myself, his teachings from biblical text saved me from pitting my suffering, life is by fare from easy, but i found peace in myself through him.

I'm 17 and I'm in almost the exact same situation. A lack of a close father figure leading to me lacking the masculine attributes. Falling into the same sins over and over and over. The Lord has helped me a lot, but it's still difficult. I hope you're doing okay. I'm praying for you!
I am in the exact same situation you was in my brother. but keep having faith and behave like God wants you to be behave. just like you said, this life is far from easy, but you will get through it with the strength of Jesus. “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." For so long I was trying too hard to serve the Lord, but I continue to stumble over and over. I realized I couldn't do it myself alone. But with the Holy Spirit now, I feel so strong. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit for a reason.

God will meet you where you are at but He doesn’t want to leave you there.

Paul himself explains in Galatians we cannot perfect the flesh. Trust me, read Galatians or listen to it.
We can’t be perfect on earth, if we could be, Christ wouldn’t have had to die for us. We can improve and become more like Christ everyday and part of becoming more like Him is loving Him.

Faith is what saves us.
Faith in Christ, our love we have for Christ because of what we did He did for us, gives us the desire to act out in response to His great sacrifice. And our faith is shown by our works.
In the same way you love your parents and want to please them because they cared for you, you will love Christ and will want to please Him. Your love for Him will produce deeds.
Your faith will be proven by your deeds. But you don’t have to live a life trying to perfect the flesh. That is not the gospel. We cannot perfect the flesh. We cannot fulfill Gods law.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend on one point, he is guilty of all.
A lawbreaker is a lawbreaker despite what law they break. A sinner is a sinner despite what sin they have done. We all deserve death, Christ does not expect us to make ourselves perfect.
He will do that for us when we see Him again.
For it is by grace you are saved (things that we don’t deserve) through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
A gift is something given to you for free, a gift is not something you earn. If you went to a birthday party and someone brought a gift and said you had to pay for it in order to receive it it would be no gift at all. Christ purchased our salvation though His blood. We are thankful for His sacrifice and in response to His grace we want to be more like Him and we will follow Him as a result.
Don’t beat yourself up, don’t condemn yourself and do not condemn others.

@@jonahcedenosanchez5536 You are right, Yahusha will meet us where we are when we respond to His call. And that we without Him can not be perfect.
But you are wrong suggesting this place of sin filled life remains. Because our sin is forgiven through His Love and Mercy, and by His blood we are cleansed.
It is the desire of Yahuah to dwell in us, and He can not dwell with darkness.
1Jn 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that Elohim is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth.
1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Do you really think the Creator of the universe, created man and gave them rules which are impossible to obey? Then He created them for failure, and that would make Him imperfect. And we know He is perfect.
Would our Messiah Yahusha really say, “go and sin no more”, if it was impossible?
Would our Father really say the following words?
1Jn 3:9 Everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin, because His seed stays in him, and he is powerless to sin, because he has been born of Elohim.
Can you see that? Sin has no power over those who are of Elohim! Because Yahusha lives in him. And darkness CAN NOT DWELL with THE LIGHT of Yahusha.
It is a lie which the church tells you, that you can not be without sin. That it is impossible to obey the Law/Torah. I am living evidence that it is possible. I was a Christian for over 40 years. And it was impossible to be without sin as a christian. Because the Christian sins for being a Christian. The theology of the church causes you to sin.
And sin opens the door for the devil to legally affect your life.
Jer 50:7 “All who found them have devoured them. And their adversaries have said, ‘We are not guilty, because they have sinned against יהוה, the Home of righteousness, and the Expectation of their fathers: יהוה.’
If you sin against Yahuah, it is difficult to get out, because you live in disobedience
/sin.
If you are right, that we can not be without sin, then our Messiah is a liar and the Word of Yahuah false teaching.
But you are wrong, because Scripture says Yahuah does not hear the sinner, but only those doing His desire:
Joh 9:31 “And we know that Elohim does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desire, He hears him.
The prayer of those who turns away from His Torah, his prayer is an abomination to Yahuah.
Pro 28:9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.
You see the church says the law does not apply. But the church is wrong. Because disobedience to the Law/Torah is sin. You are without the law and therefore become lawless.
1Jn 3:4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
Yahusha our Messiah has the following to say to the lawless ones.
Mat 7:23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’
Is this really where you want to be? Scripture says we can be free from sin, and I choose to believe it and live it, why would Yahuah say the following if it is a lie?
Rom 6:1 What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favour increase?
Rom 6:2 Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
Yahuah is clear, if you love Him, YOU WILL OBEY HIS COMMANDS:

In the inspired Hebrew writings there were different words used for law:
Torah = The Law of Yahuah(10 Commandments)
Namosa = Nomos(Greek) means any law
Mitzvoth = good works
Talmud = Oral law/man’s law
Whenever the Sacred writings would mention any of the three, the Bible would use “law”.
When the Scriptures says “Torah”, the Bible says “law”; Scripture says “mans law”, Bible says “law”; Scriptures says “good works”, bible says “law”.
In the Bible there is no distinction between them and cause serious misunderstanding of the intended message.
From the following verse you will see a very clear example the effect this error has on the understanding of Scripture.
In the KJV it tells us that if you do the works of the law you are under a curse, and the second part says if you do NOT do what is written in this book of the law you are cursed.
You are damned if you do and if you don’t.

The correct translations uses the correct words, if you do the works of the law(man’s law) then you are under the curse, and if you do not do what is written in the Book of the TORAH(the law of Yahuah) you will be cursed. Yahuah is speaking of 2 different laws.

Can you see that? He cleanses us from ALL SIN.
This does not mean we will never sin. What is means, we must cleanse yourself from all past sin. Then invite Yahusha to come and live in us. Then we see the following words apply:
1Co 10:13 No trial has overtaken you except such as is common to man, and Elohim is trustworthy, who shall not allow you to be tried beyond what you are able, but with the trial shall also make the way of escape, enabling you to bear it.
We will not be tempted more than we can stand. Believe that, it is Yahuah’s words.

Our walk with Him is a process of becoming more like Him, not a switch from the desires of the flesh to the perfection of Jesus while on Earth. As a young man of 21, I don't think this will be the last time I listen to this video. I wasted the past few years doing... nothing. Not partying, not studying, not praying... just nothing. It's taken a lot to make me get off my butt and actually try to *live*. You can do it, but you have to start DOING IT. Did Galileo have evidence beforehand? No, but he had faith and conviction that he was right so he set out to find the evidence to prove it was true. @@jacobtack2258 although I agree with most of what you have said, Lord in Hebrew can mean many different words Baal is just one of them, There is Yhvh The almighty of course, but other uses of the word lord in Hebrew are master, ruler, commander, possessor and sovereign. There are more uses but it depends on the context and usage of who or what the word lord is referring too. His Name is of such enormous importance for several reasons. Firstly because Yahuah said so. He COMMANDED us NOT to bring His Name to naught.
We have no authority to change His will because we want to.
